I remember the days when i was a stockbroker and would make 100s of calls a day! Now I'm looking to take that same energy and work ethic into a different sector of sales. I enjoy your channel and videos! You are a visionary in the world of sales. Looking forward to the journey ahead. All the best from Miami- Chris
Dude this is cool... I'm working to get to.... over 100 calls for the week (it's a Monday) - but I do other stuff... but still - you're absolutely right - you get on the phone and you have a ton of leads if you know what you're doing and you're calling the right people.
You have a tremendous approach to the cold calling barrier for many reps. You have a knack for instructional videos Trent! Thank you for sharing your best practices
I love you saying that you can control your attitude and *work ethic*. Makes me think that okay well maybe it’s okay even if I’m not the most talented at cold calling, but as long as I work harder than others, I will be fine.
I don't really have the time but you grabbed my attention for 13 minutes that led to your selling of your guide. You are legendary. PS: I did have some good takeaway from this video too
🖋 Prospecting daily is a must. I learned this from Fanatical Prospecting. When you finish a sequence or book a meeting or get told no, you need to add 10 more people in addition to the 15 - 25 that you regularly add daily or weekly. Prospecting is hard and time consuming, but so worth it. Adequately prospect and doing 100 activities (dials/emails/socials) will be easy. As for the mental bandwidth to make these calls and send these emails? Like Trent said, do short spurts frequently but CONSISTENTLY 🙏🏾.
Thank you SO MUCH for all of this content! I just purchased your classes on Course Careers and ordered my books. You're a life saver, no joke! Thanks for sharing your expertise!

Great stuff as always Trent ! I’ve definitely felt that problem of assuming something is wrong before anything has actually gone bad and the best way I’ve got out of it was just asking myself is this really going to affect me tomorrow, next week, a month, or a year down the line. Usually the answer is never that long and helps a lot to break down the built up tensioned feelings. 🕶🖊
Love your videos!!! This is your best yet. I love seeing how confident you've become. I work in SaaS Sales and sell Warehouse Management Software. Would be amazing if you somehow put out a video catering to different SaaS software's.

Keep going and if there‘s anything I can help you with feel free to reach out Me personally, I just started a month ago in tech sales. Wanna catch up soon and talk sales?
I make about 600-900 cold calls a day with a multi dialer - It dials 3 people at once. I can have it call up to 10 people at once but the sweet spot I found is 3 people at once. Game changer.
There are ways around this: email, LI, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Be creative and cut through the noise. Thousands of reps are still generating good pipeline successfully til this day.
what frustrates me in inside sales is when you work in an organization where they expect you to make 100 calls a day, but the data is not up to date to reach a prospect. what do you suggest in this scenario?
This one is a bit tricky. Making 100 calls for vanity metrics' sake is pointless. You're making 100 calls to increase your likelihood of having more conversations. This is why it is important to vet companies HARD when applying, including finding out their tech stack - which should include ZoomInfo. Lastly, you also need to be trying to reach prospects through email, LinkedIn, Twitter, or whatever your preferred social media platform is. It's imperative that you cut through the noise of the 50 other reps vying for these prospects' attention. Best of luck
@@christopherconseille1921 ISRs and BDRs ar AWS are actually less "productive" by number of dials but make like 50-60 daily. It is about volume and value together, not just cranking out calls.

@@TrentDressel Thanks man. Also any tips on dealing with the ups and downs of sales? Like dealing with the ebbs and flows when it comes to booking demos? Killing it one month then getting bad results the next.
Interesting. In USA it's working very good since it's it doesn't have the EU GDPR harsh laws and it's not possible to find any contact information directly to the correct stake holders. Do you have any suggestion?
Our EMEA reps over in the UK use the multi-channel approach like we do in the states. They don't just call, they also are pretty intense with email and LinkedIn and are constantly meeting quota. Same with our APAC teams.
100 cold calls the real story. 70 calls get no answer. 20 get someone who can't or won't even care about what you have to say. 8 calls will be quality conversations where you get a decent lead to follow up on. 2 calls will eventually lead to a sale after you touch them an average of 6 other times. What does it take to make 100 calls? A realistic understanding of what you are doing. It's not sexy all the time just be relentless.
