    I give it a 10, it's a perfect CCW handgun with very little to snag on clothing and love the sights. Easy to pick up with the eyes and plenty of rounds not to mention it just passed a 10,000 round test and still kept going....Springfield hit the mark on this one. 👍✌

      I would give it a 5! Hokey sights, blade on trigger. Looked at it and Sig P365 closely, bought the Sig P365! No regrets. My Dog came with 3 - 12 round mags. If I need more than 13 shots, one more probably won't save me! I pray to God I NEVER have to fire it at another human being. But if I have to, I can and will!! 😬😖😭🤒

    I just bought a Hellcat, I can't believe how much I love it. I have never really been able to carry concealed comfortably, but this weapon makes it all possible. I forget I have it on me. I carry it appendix with a crucial concealment holster. I love my set up, thank you for the review and thanks Springfield for hitting a home run with this.

    This is one of the best Hellcat reviews that I have seen. Many of the others are obviously bias towards the Springfield as soon as the video begins, therefore they do not an equal comparison of the Hellcat to the Sig. 365. The Hellcat is slightly wider than the 365 and it is lighter than the 365 when both guns are empty, and that Is why I think so many comment about how snappy the Hellcat is to shoot. With the extended mag in both guns, I can get 3 fingers on the 365 but I get more like 2.5 on the Hellcat. My little finger is not completely on the mag with the Hellcat, but even with that the Hellcat holds one more round than the 365.
    I have the Hellcat, the 365, 365 XL and a Smith and Wesson Shield. The Shield is a fantastic gun for the money since you can now find one for $250 NIB but I like the shape of the grip better on the Sig and the Springfield and both hold more rounds than the Shield. I like all of them but chose the 365 as my daily carry gun.

      You realize people give you their opinion, which is subjective right? it doesn't mean they're biased. One could just claim this guy is biased against them. Which is a retarded stance. He has his own valid view, and take it for what it's worth along with others.

      You see, I don’t care about bias. Everybody is biased but people seem to have this stupid need to be unbiased so they aren’t truthful with where their bias is. I love H&K and so if I were to make a video on their products o would say so. It doesn’t mean that I hate Sig or Glock or Springfield or S&W. Those are all great products as well. It’s just that I am biased towards H&K and to pretend otherwise is stupid.

      P365 SAS with the finger groove mag is a full grip for me. Hellcat is a 2 ish finger grip like a Glock 26. Both the Glock and Hellcat are fatter and taller at the point of trigger pull. The SIG has a closer bore axis to trigger pull. ruclips.net/video/ucA9jcBwx-8/видео.html

    Good review. I understand the concept behind these small pistols. I know it is not always convenient or possible, depending on the circumstance to carry a larger pistol. However, there is a trade off with these guns in terms of grip and recoil. I know 9mm is not that stout of a round, but having something you can hold properly and not jump as much in your hand does have its advantage. I try to carry my Glock 19 everyday. I find it is not that hard to conceal, and in the very unlikely chance I need it, I want to have the pistol on me that I shoot best and not just the one that was easiest to carry. Plus, it transitions easily from holster to the night stand without having difficulty finding weapon light that will fit it. To each their own, and it is not a Glock vs Springfield issue for me. I would take any number of guns in the same class as the 19 over this. Smaller is not always better, despite the trend to design guns that fit in your pocket and hold as many rounds as a full size pistol. If you can hit your target, fine, but if you can’t, no amount of capacity is going to bail you out of a bad situation, and you are doing yourself and others a disservice by carrying solely on convenience.

    • @Renaldo135
      @Renaldo135 4 года назад

      I could not agree with you more. Good comment. I have a P365 and It took me more rounds down range to get used to shooting it accurately. Recoil wasn't a thing just my hand adjusting to it. Same thing happened with my Walther PPSM2..300 to 500 rounds got me where I wanted to be for a carry gun. The Hellcat seems great but I will wait a year and see.

      Steve Garis Haven’t carried a gun in over 25 years but if I ever felt the need I still have my Glock 19 that I have pushed several thousand rounds through. And you’re right these new super compacts are a little easier to carry but I don’t know if you are going to look forward to going to the range with one of them once or twice a week

      @@warrengaskin3863 I could shoot the hellcat and the sig p238 all day. The smaller sight length helps me get on target quicker and I just prefer to have a rifle as opposed to a full size pistol. What a great review! I have 2- P365s that I use for off-duty use, but I do like the feel of the Hellcat as well. I’ll probably buy one just to have one, but your assessment of the finer features of the gun are probably correct. Sig is a hard act to beat for sure. I believe most professionals tend to lean toward the Sig, but it will be interesting to see what other aftermarket features come out to make the Hellcat better- trigger spring kits, grips, sights, etc

  • @miltonlietzke7940
    @miltonlietzke7940 4 года назад +1

    I have not yet actually fired the Hellcat but it looks and feels well made. I own a P365 and really like it. I had Sig send me the 5/19 version striker which seems to have reduced the striker drag on the primer. It is still there, but much less severe. I am not going to rush out and buy the Hellcat for one additional round just like I did not rush out to buy the P365 for 3 additional rounds over my Ruger LC9s Pro or my S&W Shield.
    I, like you was not real impressed with the trigger. I like the Sig trigger better even with the curvature. I will be able to tell better after I have an opportunity to fire the Hellcat. I am also partial to the sights on the Sig. The blacked out rear sight with tritium inserts works exceptionally well for me when paired with the highly visible front sight with tritium insert.
    Another excellent and unbiased review. I appreciate your candid reviews. I do look forward to getting some range time with the Hellcat, but to actually purchase one, I will wait about a year, unless it just blows me away.

I fit that group of older shooters that appreciate the value of optics, All my pistols have them the HC has a RMSc and the 365XL has a Sig Romeo Zero. Like I said having both, each has its place in my arsenal.

    Parrot cam.
    I think that if it had a lighter trigger pull and different rear sight that it would go from a ok gun to a more superb one. I have on my GL19 tritium front and rear sights with rear sight also being a u notch sight. The front sight also has that day glow looking circle around the tritium insert. This setup makes for accurate fun target shooting as i can nail anything i aim at. (POA&POI 15 yards)But of course on a gun with a shorter barrel/sight radius one would have to aim more accurately than a gun with a longer sight radius.

    I didn't really like red dots on handguns at first either. I have to say, not all red dots are created equal. I had a Vortex Razor and it was just very mediocre and had very little to offer for something carrying their flagship "Razor" name. Once I got a Holosun though it was an absolute game changer. Holosun really is putting out next level technology that other companies just aren't keeping up with. Shake awake, auto-shutoff, solar backups, smart lighting adjustment, side loading battery, multiple reticles, 6MOA training halo, RMR footprint, etc.

I am going to put more rounds down range to see how much more I can dial it in but I certainly plan to carry it from time to time. For now my EDC remains P365. The adaptive grip texture is a great feature for a beginner to understand proper engagement and purchase. When I held it, I said "Oh damn...really?"..it felt that good. Had to buy it!

    It had a 50 to 1 kill ratio against all Japanese aircraft. It was responsible for the analiation of the Japanese air power in the pacific. (Responsible for the Great Marianas turkey shoot in WWII)
    No other plane has then or since have a record even close to it.

As for the trigger, I dropped $59.95 on a MCARBO spring kit for the Cat. The trigger is now very much better than my sig triggers. I like my P365X but love the Hellcat.
