    My EDC; mine has the thumb safety. I pocket carry in a Sticky holster, with no one saying anything about printing, for over 5-years. It just looks a phone or something similar in my pocket.

    The first range my wife and I had taken our newly purchased pistols to was an outdoor range. The range master went over all the rules and had plenty of advice. The best advice he gave, was to only load and shoot 5 rounds at a time. That familiarizes one to their weapon, gets you plenty of magazine loading practice, and your box of shells lasts a whole lot longer thus stretching out the fun.

      I will not go to a range indoor or outside. Too many rules meant for dummies or newbies. You're only allowed to shoot paper and you get to pay for all the aggravation. Areas like mixup goes to suit me just fine.

But now I think I’m going to cut out the notches on grip module and put safety back. It felt a lot better having it especially while re holstering.

      That's not true at all. These guns have massive problems compared to other quality guns. All anyone has to do is Google "P365" "forums" and "striker problems" "night sight died" or "light strikes" and you will find a ton of people who've had to send their 365s back to Sig. Usually in these forums they post Sig's warranty diagnostic letter/reply as confirmation of the problem. Sig is a Deep State gun company in bed with the Globalist Pentagon. The Deep State protects them by having judges throw out all the lawsuits against them before anything goes to a jury and the discovery process, where the truth will all come out. They also have a massive army of internet trolls which work every video about Sig to control the narrative. I'm a big fan of Mixup and I'm glad his P365 works well. I find it to be very comfortable to shoot, and very comfortable to carry. Mine's been 100% reliable, and I really enjoy shooting it. I commend you for packing so much useful information into this video in addition to highlighting a particular pistol. I’ve had a 365 with manual safety for a little over a year. It is a good pocket pistol even with 12-round mags and is just as comfortable to carry IWB. My only problem was losing the tritium front sight insert which caused me to be without the slide for a week or so. These little critters are accurate. They are not good choices for the new or inexperienced. I teach CHL and am seeing the XL and Macro versions showing up in classes. Most of the time they are being shot for the first time despite claims to the contrary. I would strongly recommend anyone who buys one in the series to field strip and clean all the gunk out of them as Sig seems to put a fair amount of almost sticky preserving on the, especially inside the mags. Makes the mags work a little smoother. I use Speer Gold Dot 124 +ps. Mine seems to cycle anything not loaded by a drunk with a rock, however.

I upgraded the pinky extension mag and a 12-round mag using MagGuts +2s and I can't recommend them enough. I have the stock curved trigger because I like how it feels and it doesn't need a trigger kit. It and a S&W Shield Plus Performance Center 4" with a Holosun 507k are my primary carry guns.

I’ve been carrying the Shield PC 1.0 for eight years and thought I’d like a few more rounds in a slightly smaller package with the option for an optic. The popularity of the 365 with its huge aftermarket was a big selling point, but for me the FN just hit the spot in the hand. An upside to the lack of aftermarket support on the FN means the temptation to putz with it on pricy and questionable upgrades is not there. Yet.

    That's cool. I'm OK with G19/G23 sized carry guns. In fact, I've been carrying my G22 around and it conceals well enough - I go grocery shopping with it, etc. with no issues. It does get a little heave on dog walks which are about a mile in length... but suspenders can fix that - I can wear them under my over shirt so I don't look like hillbilly Joe. lol And I agree about the good holster - a good Kydex one like you showed runs around $40 and worth every penny. Allows for quick draw and safe re-holstering, retains the handgun well and is sweat proof.

    This' timely because I've been thinking about a new carry 9, even though I still like my XD-S 9 3.2. Several Sig autoloaders are on my radar. The performance of 9mm self-defense ammo can vary greatly, esp out of a relatively short barrel, say sub four inch. I stick with Hornady Critical Defense because it seems to expand well consistently. I'm not sold on relying on only Ballistics Gel testing, I think the Meat Target (serious recovery mojo to Paul Harrell) gives a much better picture of actual performance in a medium that better represents a human torso. It crazy how some defense rounds in certain calibers can change so greatly from a 3.3" barrel to a 4" one.

I also use 25 ft. as the indoor range has it market on the wall. I also only go for head shots given all the bullet proof vests around that what I might be shooting at would likely wear one. I am thinking of buying a second Sig for the house as the other is in the car.

The Deep State protects them by having judges throw out all the lawsuits against them before anything goes to a jury and the discovery process, where the truth will come out. They also have a massive army of internet trolls which work every video about Sig to control the narrative. I'm a big fan of Mixup and I'm glad his P365 works well. Not carrying a round in the chamber on a striker fired pistol shows a basic lack of knowledge on how a striker works. Most similar is a uncocked revolver. Pulling a trigger on a striker compresses the striker spring until it releases, similar to a uncocked revolver.

    • @timrobinson6573
      @timrobinson6573 8 месяцев назад +5

      That's true but not for all striker fired pistols. The P320 and Springfield XD/XDM use precocked strikers. Pulling the trigger on those guns simply drops the sear and releases the striker. This is why the XD/XDM has a grip safety and why the P320 was not drop safe initially and needed redesign.

    • @rbm6184
      @rbm6184 8 месяцев назад +2

      @OldGlaseye-gf7si Most strikers but not all are precocked single action triggers. If they were double action then you would not need to rack the slide to cock the pistol every time the trigger is pulled. There are a few striker pistols that have double action only triggers like the Taurus Spectrum.
