@@Anarchist86ed they have explosive fuel that may behave that way. obviously star wars isn't very accurate, but removing atmospheric scattering helps makes space renders look 100x better, was just giving some advice to make the next render even better
@@ConsumerOfCringe I know. I'm just saying nitpicking things like that in a fictional setting just doesn't really matter. The average viewer is not going to notice or even care.
To be fair to everyone, the novel "Death Star" (probably my favorite of the few Legends novels I've read), or perhaps the novelization of "Rogue One" describes a scene where a passenger is looking out a viewport into the space and objects beyond, and describes how there was no blur, or anything to indicate that an object (such as a star destroyer, or DS-1 itself) was a hundred kilometers away. Even at that range, everything was so crystal clear, that one had the sense that they could just reach out and touch it. There was nothing in space to diffuse what they saw in the distance.
@@UziMurderDrones3732 NOPE, they used a mix with the Imperial II. The Imperial I did not have those huge windows on the bridge. The problem is that it hadn't been designed until a while after, and it's not the one in the scene..
You can't remake perfection but damn this is close.
ILM wants to know your location.
ILM: We will watch your career with great interest!
Probably for the cease and desist letter from Disneys lawyers.
Amazing work!
One tiny thing, the shadow cast by the deathstar laser would be less blurry, due to the lack of atmospheric scattering in space
Ships explode in fireballs in space, that's impossible. So... let's not complain too much about the science stuff in star wars.

I would’ve thought this was the original one if the title didn’t say. Amazing.
So amazing! This really is crazy good
Incredible lighting
Beautifully done!!!
You really understand a good lighting!
Impressive. Most Impressive.
What Death Star Model did you use?
Amazing
“Oh it’s beautiful.” ❤
I say get this man hired at Lucasfilm asap!
Just a minor gripe but i dont think the shadow would move that fast at 0:11 or be that blurry
How long did the Empire have the Death Star? Like 2 weeks?
Epic
a normal map would help bring the death star to life in this video.
Long live the Empire!
Where’d you get the model from
They found the original Death Star prop in an abandoned building being used as a trash can
What the hell, nice!
Yes, but why?
Круто!
