Back when I was 7 I thought that the Second Death Star was the First and that the explosion had blasted large chunks out of the death star. I had the mind of a 4 year old at the time so... I fully understood by the age of 8.
ayy lmao
Same
That's my head cannon now
That was me too
I always thought this was the case lmao
I like how the Death Star has the superlaser already installed in ROTS but they're just building it in Andor/Rogue One on an already completely station.
Easily headcanoned away by the idea they probably had to build and re-build the superlaser a couple of times as it was brand new untested tech and probably needed troubleshooting
Back in Legends, the death star we see in ROTS was a prototype skeleton. However, it kinda doesn't make sense that the super laser is the last thing they install, considering that it's directly connected to the reactor. I mean the super laser is the main part of the death star, everything else is an afterthought, so it would make more sense if it was the first thing to be built right after the reactor and skeleton, just like in Legends. I mean imagine the wasted credits if you build the entire thing and only then realise the superlaser doesn't work.
@@wilhufftarkin8543Building it first and test later was the way they were going for at least with the first. I’m sure if it worked and was able to fire it wouldn’t need the demo in Rogue One to ‘show’ that it’s fully operational. Much unalike the second death star where the Emperor had already set up base and was using it (to the rebels surprise) in it when it wasn’t even complete and everyone thought it wasn’t operational.
You forgot when Palpatine was watching it in his room in ROTS when Anakin came there.
that wasnt it, it was a random planet. And if it was that was a hologram, I dont count those, only used holograms of it in the intro
🎵 fully operational death star🎵

My favorite scene is the first scene in this video. So chilling and sad
2:19 This scene makes the Death Star look really small.
Carolus Magnus It may look small, but it was really big.
@@TrickyPJM752 the moon is bigger than death star
DS1 was only 75 miles in diameter.
I find your lack of faith disturbing😡
Its a small moon after all like enncedalus, only the size of the british isles or new zealand
They decided to put the laser on before finishing it on the second one
They did that to the 1st death star too but rogue one contradicts revenge of the sith.
Where's Death Star 3... oh i mean Starkiller Base
was thinking about adding it but decided to keep it death star I and II centric
Unusable Signal: Star Wars World What an original joke
There actually was a Death Star III But only in the Star Tour Comic
Star Wars Basic I was about to say that....
@@GeekCinema Make as new video which includes Starkiller? I would be interested to see that. Great video btw, I am just learning that there were 2 deathstars in the OG trilogy, haha I didn't even realize. Only one gets blown up though? Still confused about that.
And I thought Star Destroyers were big...yikes! Then again, there's a ship in Independence Day: Resurgence that makes the Death Star look like a marble.
Well the death star could one shot that mother ship as soon as it came out of hyperspace
"size matters not"- Yoda
Judge by the size do you?
It's only 160 miles(approx) in diameter. Space Battleship Yamato could take it out in one shot with its wave motion gun
I want my very own Death Star in real life...
Me too
Just dont blow up earth
Dude it"s too expensive. Both construction and maintenance.
" *this battle station is he most Strongest things in the Galaxy* " -Conan Antonio Motti
It actually goes like this: this battle station is now the ultimate power in the universe I suggest we use it.......
"Fear, will keep the Local Systems in Line... Fear of this Battlestation..." - Grand Moff Tarkin
Time to update this with Andor
May wait after season 2, apparently It may appear then as well!
The first shot was from attack of the clones.
Simply red standing by😄
I just realised something. The Death Star was meant to be the size of a moon... isn’t Endor a moon? Why is it so small compared to Endor?
The death star is the size of Pluto. And all the moons in our solar system are bigger than Pluto
Edit:the death star was smaller than Pluto and Han Solo said it's a small moon
xrist gamer Yolo 789 okay cool
the death star is actually smaller than mimas, which I'm pretty sure is the smallest spherical object in our solar system.
A moon doesn't necessarily has to be small.
Only smaller than the planet that is orbiting
That's no moon...
damm you rebels
"Fly Casual" LOL
with palpatine gone the empire crumbles the true avengance of both the rogue one team and the people on the planet of alderaan when the death star annilated it
It's the Moons brother.
why does the Death Star look so cute
@@walterwhite1235 ikr
Because it's a huge ball with a dish antenna on the side. Round shapes are cute
What how the fuck can a Space station be cute?
Is it a perfect sphere? I always thought my aspect ratio was off on my TV but now I think it just wasn't perfectly spherical or symmetrical.
3 years late but no, it's not a perfect sphere in the original trilogy at least: it's a very slight oval.
I think what happened was the model for the Death Star got slightly warped and the shell was slightly moved down from gravity.
no. it has various weapons, trenches, and towers on its surface.
Does anyone have a snooker cue.... a tennis racket....a golf club.....
It should be called Death Moon, not Death Star, maybe Death Dwarf Star?
Thanks for the cool video and for sharing. I may use part of your video as a b-roll in a video of mine. I'll give you the credit and mention your channel, is that okay?
You missed one the one were it pans to the death star when vader takes luke to the emperor.
2:20 Is this to scale?
More great editing there love it and thanks. Only just got to see Rogue One on blu-ray love it but I think The Force Awakens beats Rogue One.
Shelley Wayne thank you! Make sure you are subscribed and share this video for more! :)
Shelley Wayne what sort of substance are you smoking death sticks or something most people would say rogue one beats the force awakens by an infinite amount you need to go to a mental hospital because of you saying that the force awakens is better when clearly rogue one is better and most people would say that
battle droid “most people“. So he's not part of most people lol
Did you for real say force awakens beats rogue one
I look so cool
Original trilogy said BOWW BA BA BWOWWW BOW
Where is death star 3?
Wow so death star is like earth now?
How much millions would cost to build one here???
1€
The estimated cost is $22,452,000,000,000,000,000 or 22 quintillion dollars

hey Natalie! crassouant? marty
Using Kyber Crystals to power the Superlaser, was worse than having Jedi powered by Midichlorians.
In the original canon, the Death Star was powered by fusion, and was mostly filled with hydrogen to power it.
So can someone go ahead and update episode 4-6 CGI so it dosent look so garbage in comparisions to Rouge ones beauti
Jinkuzu the Death Star was never cgi in the original trilogy. They used models. Which still looks perfectly fine to me.
Supercuts and Edits Yeah the models in the original trilogy still hold up very well but I can understand his statement a little bit because Rogue One was one of the mist visually stunning movies I've ever seen
Jinkuzu *beauty not beauti
This is the CGI updated version 4-6 (the Special Editions) - not the original versions
@@Geforce2187 they still use models even in rogue one there are three y-wings in a group in the battle of scariff they are all ban-dai models that came from a certain model shop in New Zealand they were bought by someone from weta workshops who do the models for the Disney star wars movies
