I gotta say, I have watched a ton of different RV Couple's videos. With many of them, I can easily tell when Couples are just acting that they are happy or even like one another as they try to lay it on thick and fake the viewers. With you two, I can say with an almost certainty, that you are completely in love with each other and enjoying spending time together. It's hard to fake that stuff. I wish you all the luck in the world to staying in love like that everyday in the future. It's nice to watch since it happens so rarely in our world today....

Suggest you reconsider your evaluation of the dehumidifier. In winter the process of warming air inside an enclosure (RV or home) naturally lowers moisture in the air. That is why many people use a humidifier in the winter to add moisture to the air. The remaining moisture is drawn to the coldest surface - windows. The small dehumidifier can't compete with mother nature blowing sub-zero air across single pane windows. Use a humidity meter to measure actual air conditions (most measure both temperature and humidity) and test the dehumidifier in the summer. Take care, stay safe, stay well, and Happy New Year.

It's a great place to have fairly close! There are more plugs in the kitchen, 4 on the other wall above the sink area. The dogs had a great Christmas!!
We just got back to South Jersey from Fayetteville, NC last night where we spent the Christmas weekend. Yup, it is a little warmer and no snow there. The campgrounds are open there. We noticed a lot of RV's traveling south yesterday. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
The dogs love the snow so expect to see more of them in the snow this winter! And the Airstream wasn't built to Winter camp that's for sure haha the walls would weep with moisture it was terrible
We use the Dyson heater/air purifier/ fan for 2 years now and just bought our 2nd one. We love them during the winter since we are full time, for Dehumidifier we have a GE and it works great.

Yep we actually talked about getting full length flap for the Wraith soon! And yes we have slide toppers. We like to keep life interesting... Like we've said in the past, we like to live dangerously🤪

This is the heater we have and we love it! amzn.to/3oGLFZs We have it attached with heavy duty magnets so it stays in place going down the road etc. Hasn't moved yet!
Brrrrr!! We have one of the fireplaces like at Harbor Freight, we can get the inside up 74 but still have cold floors too lol, our is 32 feet, and 15 degrees out one Thanksgiving trip, but hey, enough happy juice and you won't care if it's cold, have fun y'all 🎅👍
You guys need to research dehumidifiers in winter and single pane windows in winter to understand the problem you are having. It's not the dehumidifier.

LBA. We live in Duluth, Minnesota, which is on or next to Lake Superior, and the winters there are dry. We never have to worry about humidity, as a matter of fact, we use a lot of moisturizing creams 🍦 😀 during the winter. I believe you're from Ohio, or dosen't make any difference where you are from, if you're in the snow belt states, winter air is going to be dry. Yeah Winter is dry dry dry but in a small space like an RV with heat and people with the drastic temp differences between inside and outside it's a recipe for condensation and moisture in windows and when we had the Airstream the walls would weep from moisture from temp differences
Yeah, we bought a dehumidifier similar to that one this year. It’s useless and we don’t even take it with us. It had good reviews on Amazon too. Don’t know how. We’re back to letting the dual HVAC’s fight it out. Zone 1 in heat pump mode and Zone 2 in AC. :)
Yeah we might try a bigger one. Lots of others said to get a bigger one and they work great for them and the small ones are useless. We will keep everyone updated haha
We go out and ring in the New Year in our TT several years. We got heavily snowed on two years ago. Campground cleared except the Host & us. We had 60#'s of propane & an electric heater along with a weeks worth of food. 4 x 4 pickup if we needed to leave the trailer. I wasn't concerned. Did wake up early one morning remembering that the slide has a flat roof. Not sure of its limits so i just jumped up on the main roof and cleaned off both roofs a couple times that week. Did have to shovel snow out of our driveway to get the rig going. All ended fine. BTW, we have a dehumidifier thats about 3x that size. It keeps our 30' tt dry in Winter here in the Pacific N.W.
Yeah we were hoping a small dehumidifier would work but clearly we are wrong lol dispite the high reviews😂 we really loved camping in the snow though so expect more this Winter!

Hello and merry Christmas to you! You guys are making it really hard to pick a super C motor home! I have watched so many videos that have different super C motor homes and there is some pros and cons , but it still looks like I will be getting a Nexus like yours, thanks for the great videos and your honest opinion of the stuff that you use . Be safe and if you ever come thru Utah (heber city) drop me a line I would love to meet you.
The choice is yours but we are very happy with the Wraith's performance. Granted we did upgrade some things and we did add the dump Bay heater(a must) but we are happy with it!
Well, at least you seem to have beaten the rain jinx (snow rain this trip). Lap dog Piper may also be sled dog Piper. Where in North Carolina might you be headed? No snow in the eastern half of the state.
We are in Asheville NC now and they do have snow that's melting currently. Feels like a heat wave at 50! Haha Piper will make a great sled dog! Almost like you know what's in store for the future😉
We have a cabinet dehumidifier about twice the size of your den space heater for a 26' travel trailer with jumbo slide. It will generate about 1.5 gallons in less than a day, weighs 21 lbs, sits upright under the bed for transport. About $100 on Amazon. The key is to get one that is freon based.
I complained about your last video being washed out and this one was too until I tried watching it on my Mac using Safari and it played perfectly using that. Do you have any suggestions about watching your videos using a Macbook Pro and chrome browser?
Yeah I think it's certain settings on computers... Not sure what though but our videos are recorded in HDR and I think on computers some platforms might not work but we haven't experienced it in our MacBook, phones or TV but glad you found a way where it works again!
We always run water from our tank, we don't use City water because our water pressure is better with our water pump etc. We don't freeze because we have a heated enclosed underbelly. We run the furnace and haven't had issues in this rig!

Yeah, we bought a dehumidifier similar to that one this year. It’s useless and we don’t even take it with us. It had good reviews on Amazon too. Don’t know how. We’re back to letting the dual HVAC’s fight it out. Zone 1 in heat pump mode and Zone 2 in AC. :)
Yeah we might try a bigger one. Lots of others said to get a bigger one and they work great for them and the small ones are useless. We will keep everyone updated haha

We go out and ring in the New Year in our TT several years. We got heavily snowed on two years ago. Campground cleared except the Host & us. We had 60#'s of propane & an electric heater along with a weeks worth of food. 4 x 4 pickup if we needed to leave the trailer. I wasn't concerned. Did wake up early one morning remembering that the slide has a flat roof. Not sure of its limits so i just jumped up on the main roof and cleaned off both roofs a couple times that week. Did have to shovel snow out of our driveway to get the rig going. All ended fine. BTW, we have a dehumidifier thats about 3x that size. It keeps our 30' tt dry in Winter here in the Pacific N.W.
Yeah we were hoping a small dehumidifier would work but clearly we are wrong lol dispite the high reviews😂 we really loved camping in the snow though so expect more this Winter!
That weather looks like ours in Wisconsin today. Did that place have full hookups? I give you credit, our basement is heated but still Rving in the cold is rough.
Yes they have full hook ups year round here. One of the few!
How did you run your water hose without freezing? Or did you fill your fresh water before the trip?
We always full our tanks and run off of our pump. No matter the weather

I have watched so many videos that have different super C motor homes and there is some pros and cons , but it still looks like I will be getting a Nexus like yours, thanks for the great videos and your honest opinion of the stuff that you use . The choice is yours but we are very happy with the Wraith's performance. Granted we did upgrade some things and we did add the dump Bay heater(a must) but we are happy with it!

We don't feel any drafts really unless you are by a window where it's not insulated/cooler and you can feel the cold but no drafts
Well, at least you seem to have beaten the rain jinx (snow rain this trip). Lap dog Piper may also be sled dog Piper. Where in North Carolina might you be headed? No snow in the eastern half of the state.
We are in Asheville NC now and they do have snow that's melting currently. Feels like a heat wave at 50! Haha Piper will make a great sled dog! Almost like you know what's in store for the future😉

We have a cabinet dehumidifier about twice the size of your den space heater for a 26' travel trailer with jumbo slide. It will generate about 1.5 gallons in less than a day, weighs 21 lbs, sits upright under the bed for transport. About $100 on Amazon. The key is to get one that is freon based.

I complained about your last video being washed out and this one was too until I tried watching it on my Mac using Safari and it played perfectly using that. Do you have any suggestions about watching your videos using a Macbook Pro and chrome browser?
Yeah I think it's certain settings on computers... Not sure what though but our videos are recorded in HDR and I think on computers some platforms might not work but we haven't experienced it in our MacBook, phones or TV but glad you found a way where it works again!
How are you keeping the water from freezing? Did you fill the RV with a full tank of water before you got to the RV park?
We always run water from our tank, we don't use City water because our water pressure is better with our water pump etc. We don't freeze because we have a heated enclosed underbelly. We run the furnace and haven't had issues in this rig!
Are the windows on the Nexus not double pane?
No they aren't
LBA periodically i take my dehumidifier and run hot water through it to clean the fins Let it dry and plug it in, then it works fine.
This is new so I don't imagine it needs cleaned already, but good suggestion otherwise!
