I've often said Dagoth was _almost_ a good guy. He was absolutely right in opposing the tribunal and the dwemer were absolutely slaver assholes who deserved to be taken down, but Dagoth himself is a racist conqueror who doesn't understand the horrifying god-magic he inflicts upon his followers, which disqualifies him from being right.

I finished the Vvardenfell zone story in ESO yesterday where you have to save Vivec from getting divinely drained, and as neat as that was I won't lie I had Dagoth yelling this at the back of my mind for a chunk of the climax.
