- Dagoth Ur is back with another extensive list of cities and towns. This time it is in Morrowind, specifically in Vvardenfell. He only goes over the major cities and towns within the Island of Vvardenfell. He does not talk about the towns in Soltsheim. This is also another regular list, it is not a tier list, because that has been done before. Also the McDagoths in Balmora makes an appearance here. Dagoth Ur has harsher opinions about Morrowind, surprisingly. This is a very extensive Dagoth Ur guide to Morrowind cities, and it took a lot of time and effort to make.

I really do not know why, but for some reason I really like these Dagoth Ur meme videos. The actual content, while funny to a degree, normally wouldn't draw me in. Rankings are just not that interesting really. I guess I just mindlessly listen to the voice of lord Dagoth, like a good dreamer should.

Jokes aside Caldera being smaller than Balmora but not so small that it may as well be dead make it the perfect size for a "home town" of sorts. It have a shop for armor repairs, the mage guild where you can buy alchemy stuff and basically right next to Balmora making it a small walk away. Generally my goto place for general trade. If playing as a male character and not minding a farming tool as a girl friend you can get Ahnassi's house completely for free in Pelagiad. Sadly it so far from anywhere and lack anything of value aside from the house itself that I never really try to make use of it. Don't think I ever finish the quest personally.
Caldera definitely has a homey vibe. Bonus: may be a small town but best place to offload (most) loot if you happen to know a scamp.

Edit: and if you get the crystals for the guy at the mage's guild you can teleport to a variety of strongholds that are otherwise a pain to get to, great for traveling.

Good timing, just started my "Chaos Heart" play-through, that's a cool mod that overhauls a ton of stuff and lets you join the sixths house.
I've seen it.
Both Seyda Neen and Balmora have one thing that none of the other cities have. That is the corpse of holding in a convenient location to hold all your stuff. Both are good but Balmora beats Seyda Neen just off of convenience. Plus you pretty much get a free mansion around the the corpse of holding. Which you can then easily move Creeper to with a command creature spell. Balmora is a transportation hub for both mages guild teleportation and silt striders. Only downside is all of the N'wahs especially the farm tools that are walking around free.

why do you need mansion if you already have whole corner club right next to silt strider and all guilds?
@@jannadark8100 Because the corner club doesn't have a corpse of holding in it for all my stuff I don't want to carry around. Seriously limiting the amount of stuff you could put in chests is the one thing I don't miss about Morrowind that wasn't in later games. Just lead Creeper there and you get everything you need in a house. The corpse of holding is the main attraction the free mansion is just an additional perk.

I just bumrush Tel Uvirith like a real telvanni Chad. You can get stage 2 complete before day 20 if you do things right. Also if you’re skilled in mysticism (like any self respecting Dunmer) you can divine intervention to sadrith mora for direct connection to the mage teleport network, or almsivi to molag mar for the boats along the southern coast. It’s also the only stronghold with a permanent corpse for infinite storage.

Just bonding session with Dagoth and he is nice to his nerevarine companion)
Dagoth Ur trip sits for Nerevar's first time taking weed. Tells you to chill out and instructions like when to toke, walks you through the process, but the Nerevar has a bad reaction and sensitivity, half greening out Dagoth helps you through it.

Suran is ripe for the taking. U can steal everything from the outfitter and she won't report your crimes, u can steal all the alcohol from earthly delights and not be reported, u can punch the pawnbroker once, get him to chase u upstairs, jump off balcony and go back in, steal darts, glass dagger, ebony Pauldron. Then enter the guard tower closest to silt strider, steal the blade of white woe under the bunk on top floor. U will need to no be seen by the guard tho. U can do this all in the first 10 Mins of the game.
And end up with a bounty of like, 5. Guards will leave alone, so just don't talk to any.

I wish we could get Morrowind remake with modern graphics and a bit polished gameplay. I remember when I first saw Morrowing. Trully magic moment. Not only it looked great in it's times but also it was so greatly different from a generuc RPG. While Oblivion and Skyrim look like normal plains and mountains Morrowind seems like a different world...
