I am deeply grateful for your kind words, Asra. Everything you’ve created is absolutely beautiful and beyond my expectations. You've captured every detail of Wakhi culture so authentically and thoughtfully. Thank you so much for mentioning my company as well! On behalf of the entire Wakhi community, I would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for showcasing our culture to the world. Your work truly honors our heritage, and we are grateful for the care you have taken to represent us.😍🥰 (I had the pleasure of meeting her during her visit to Pakistan in 2021. Her dedication, attention to detail, and thorough research are evident throughout the video. In about 35 minutes, Asra provides a deep and insightful look into a culture that spans over 10 centuries and stretches across more than four countries) Thank you, Asra, for this exceptional video, for the thoughtful presentation, and for showcasing our culture so positively. We hope you’ll visit again to experience even more aspects of our heritage. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors!🙏
As a guy from Gilgit , I thanks alot for you to visit our north 🇵🇰. Gilgit Baltistan is a very small area by population but believe me it is very diverse as there are 6 different ethnicities and local languages. ❤️
@@AliSher-c8u my friend are you from Gilgit city? The next couple of documentaries to come will be about other ethnic groups within Hunza. I hope you’ll watch 😍 And please do give me some detailed feedback on this documentary. I’d love to know if there were any highlights for you, key learnings, anything you disliked? Please do share away! ♥️ It was a huge project to make this documentary. The research alone took one month 😫
@ You know there is a also a tribe/people who extract “gold” from river indus bank in gilgit . The process by which they do is unique and ancient one maybe you have noticed tents on river banks in KKH , they are those people . I hope you do a video about them . There are gemstone extraction spots in KKH or skardu road . It is also done by local people plz do a video on that also , it will be interesting. Also there is a unique concept of centuries old himalayan ritual of “shamanism” to control evil spirits in hunza /nagar/gilgit . I wished you have witnessed that as it is terrifying and unique experience but it is rare nowadays . Lastly once again I would recommend you to visit Astore district as it is unexplored one . Go to minimarg, domail , kala pani , rama lake , ratu villages of this district . And thanks alot for your incredible work on GB and 🇵🇰❤️❤️❤️
My friend this stuff is INSANE!! Can you please keep in touch with me ? Email me on asrahussain20@hotmail.com And once you have emailed me let me know & I will check. A lot of new emails go into junk. Or message me on Instagram: @asrahussain The stories that you have shared is INSANE! I would LOVE to make a documentary on those 😍 yes I did notice the tents at KKH. I thought those people were there to work on the highway!! 😨😨 And where in Gilgit are you from? Where do you live ?
@@asrahussainn Those people aren’t worker they are nomads who live on river bank for search of a gold . They are called “ Maroch” in shina language. They have very fascinating technique to get gold. I am from astore , It is also a very beautiful and cultural place in Gilgit . We are dardic Shina people like majority gilgitis . Again thanks alot for your visit and exploring our GB 😊
I had no idea the Wakhi people even existed before watching this, and now I feel like I’ve had a glimpse into their world - like we were right there with you, soaking up their traditions, their way of life, and that incredible mountain scenery. Their everyday views better than most holiday spots! 😂 Your videos have this way of making peoiple feel like they're discovering a whole new country for the first time, seeing it through your lens. I’ve never been to Pakistan, but this makes me want to pack my bags and just explore. From the hats and dance moves to the apricot kernels and rukhun tubaq (I mean, who knew?), every little detail was so fascinating to learn about. It’s amazing how rich their culture is and how much history and meaning is tied to their traditions - The way the community comes together for the wedding, the kids looking after you, and the family sleeping all in one room - it’s just so different from what most of us know, but it feels so warm and welcoming! P.S. Is it just me, or is anyone else suddenly craving apricots and ghee? 😂
Haha craving apricots and ghee eh?! I’m glad the food scenes had that effect on you 😍 I love your detailed feedback. I agree with all of your statements. Their every day views definitely are just so remarkable Thank you for such kind words I’m so glad watching was an experience for you! I aim to take you all on the journey with me so you feel you are with me ! 🥰🥰
Asra I cannot believe that you attended my family member’s wedding and came to my village yet we never got to meet! But we will definitely meet next time. I enjoyed watching my loved ones in your documentary. Thank you for sharing our Wakhi culture to the world
@@hunzavalleyOnlens. I knowwwww me too ! I’m so gutted we didn’t meet but next time 1000% we will organise something and we must shoot together! I loved the documentary and it was truly a journey. I am from the Hunza Valley and honestly I didn't know anything about Wakhi weddings. I've just attended one recently but mostly I was dancing and partying outside with friends. Didn't get a chance to experiences the core traditions. The educational part was so on. I truly loved the part where you took clips from other weddings to make it complete. Among the people who live up in the Himalayas, I love the Wakhi people and the Balti people because they are so peaceful and embrace hospitality. Our weddings (Central Hunza) are somewhat different from the Wakhi weddings. There are many things similar but the differences are huge. Also, our languages are as different as German and Chinese. We can't even slightly understand what they are saying despite them being just 30 mins drive away from us and living together for so many generations which is epic. I'm not sure if you experienced any of this but Wakhi people are truly artistic. I've so many friends who can sing, play instruments, and do other forms of arts as well. I'm sharing a link to a Wakhi mashup and it's sung by a friend and a high school batchmate. His voice is just angelic: ruclips.net/video/TBy4kk9qjzY/видео.html&ab_channel=NaveedDeevon Finally, I'm very sorry for getting back so late. I had a really tough month and was working on multiple projects. I didn't forget about you I promise and I do owe you an apology. And I'm waiting for the next episodes to come out. The third episode isn't here yet and I assume you must be working on it right now. I'll watch the whole series and I'll leave some love I promise. Thanks for the episode and being a part of my family
Heyyyy my frienddddd. Thank you for coming back I was wondering where you had disappeared to! But glad to know that you are well and good 🙂 Thank you for such wonderful feedback, I always look forward to hearing from you 🥰 I’m so glad that you enjoyed watching! I guess my 2 months of work was worth it! I’m also glad a lot of the stuff was new for you! I guess that’s what happens when you’re too busy dancing & eating at the wedding (and drinking 😜) instead of paying attention to the rituals! Hahaha. But now when you’re at another Wakhi wedding you’ll think of me & you’ll notice the traditions 🥰 Your point about all the different tribes in Hunza being so different despite living so close by was something I found ever so fascinating. I also couldn’t believe how you live down the road from one other… but are SO different! Thank you for sharing your friend’s link. I listened and loved it. He’s very talented. I wrote a comment & mentioned you! Check it out Episode 3 is in the making. It’s about the main sites of hunza. I’m more excited for you to see episode 4 though. That covers my experience of living with my Burusho familyyyyy. What an absolutely beautiful video! Wonderful story - telling, as usual. And big shout out to everyone who collaborated, showing how much it really does take a village to create something so amazing! Mom and I watched it together, on the big screen. We were so excited to see the cultures and colours. That ghee thing is so cool! And I love how the traditions are so mixed from all walks of life. But also, I was remembering back to when I was in the mountains and had some of those foods too! Ah, Asra, we were sad when it was finished. Looking forward to episode 3!!!

Assalam-o-Alaikum Little Friend... I had to watch this episode in 2 parts, first on 10th and second today (19th) as I myself was busy in a wedding ceremony. @@asrahussainn Hi Little Friend.. Actually that was my son's wedding and we were all busy for months preparing for that. For sure, weddings in urban areas are not like the ones you portrayed. This is a truly uplifting documentary. What a beautiful backdrop for a wonderful wedding. The Wakhi are a beautiful, gentle people. The children are delightful, and they seem to adore your presence. Words like Putuk, Shuparzuan, Lumberdar, and Ala Lumberdar are as evocative as the surrounding mountains. The traditions are rich, and one hopes they survive the ravages of modernity, as I do for the unique language as well. Much of humanity might suffer under severe poverty, but abundant kindness and generosity, as you have shown us among the Wakhi, more than compensate for the lack of material comfort. At least the Wakhi have been spared the violence and destruction that has affected the region in recent years. Thank you so much, Asra, for giving us a window into this unique part of the world.

After the long wait of two months, finally it's here and I finally got the chance to see it in big screen as it's meant to be watched and experienced. This docu-series is something else because it's exciting, entertaining and educational at the same time. Exploring the unexplored places is kind of a norm but exploring culture in such depth with a deep personal touch and experience is rare. Thank you Asra, for taking us through the cultural experience of Wakhi people. Even as a Pakistani, I was mostly unaware of their simple yet elegant life style. @asrahussainn it was fascinating to see the Wakhi people tucked in a small corner. What was interesting to note in your coverage was the location of the tribe as that was also close to the route that connected the sub continent with central Asia. The dance for example had steps and hand actions similar to some dances in himachal and ladakh. The bridal dress was similar to one region of Turkey and women were not wearing the hijab. Then the use of urdu as a bridge being used. I was also wondering if they had pashto in their original wakhi dialect but since I don't know pashto could not figure out. Then the wedding ceremony customs are so similar to the mountain regions in the himalayas. It was also interesting to note the word 'chapati' as mostly hill people have bread influences of roti rather than chapati. The method of use of clarified butter in preparing of the dishes seemed unique as was its preservation though some areas in Nepal use rancid butter for tea. And lastly my fascination for the region and Pakistan in general as my grandfather studied in lahore at aitcheson and I look forward to a trip to lahore and peshawar some day. So the travel agency me tion in the Video was helpful. Nice to see a young girl do these adventures as I was a avid trekker in the himalayas during the 80's and 90's particularly in the snow leopard areas of the Indian side of the himalayas. All the best in your adventures
What fantastic feedback you gave thank you! And you are incredibly well travelled you must write a book! Where are you from? Your points were so fantastic I’ll refer to them individually 1. Yes you’re absolutely right about the location being close to Central Asia! It was part of the “Silk Road” (an ancient trade route) which connected China to Rome to trade silk, spices & wool. I’m sure you already know about this- I’m preaching to the choir here 😂😂 2. Since I’ve posted my Wakhi documentary, other people’s videos have been popping up in my recommended of Tajiks in China, Tajikistan, etc etc. the culture is practically the same as the Wakhis and the comments are filled with Wakhi people! So I’m trying to understand if Wakhi people are originally Tajik but then again their origin is unclear so it’s a hard one to figure out 🤷🏽♀️😩 3. I would assume that the people in Himachel & Ladakh would have overlapping culture with the Wakhis (& other mountain tribes I will show you in future) because they’re Himalayan? I know that the Balti people of Skardu (Pakistan Himalayas) are also found in India. But I have noticed overlapping cultures with mountain people in general. 4. Sorry I wasn’t clear with the chapati part! I used the word ‘chapati’ when describing the roti, because that is the English word for it. It is also sold to the English market as ‘chapati’ here in the UK. The Wakhis don’t say chapatti or roti they have their own word in the wakhi language which I completely forgot 😂🙈 How lovely to hear about your grandfather studying in Lahore! 😍 where is he now? I really hope you get your travel Lahore & Peshawar you’ll have the best time. I would absolutely love for you to watch my introduction documentary. I explain why I ended up in Pakistan & it links to my grandfather. It’s a very emotional story - many have wept tears. I’m sure you’ll enjoy 🙂 and you’ll relate because of your grandfather. Wow. Just watched Episode 2. Captivating! How did you get the night sky footage? What did you honestly think of the ghee and apricot kernel oil and milk dish? Wow epic vlog Az!! Loved all the facts that you were spitting out especially the one about the ghee! Also loved to watch the men help with the cooking of the food, more desi men should take note 😜
@@naziabegum100 Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate your feedback 😍 the research alone took one month! And soo many people helped, I’m sure you saw from the credits. Vlogging is so easy, but documentary making is another ball game man 😫😭 insane amount of work required but I’ve been advised to stick with documentaries and not vlogs as it’s definitely more my style and suits my Channel 🥰 Hahaha I’m glad you liked the men cooking! A lot of the men amongst the different tribes do cook I learnt a lot from them. It was a great experience. God knows if desi men will watch and learn 🤷🏽♀️ they’ll probably come up with the excuse that it’s their culture not ours hahaha. Try showing it to your other half and see what he says 😜 But don’t tell him that these men aren’t Desi. Pretend that they are!😂😜 and then tell him he should follow suit hahaha
It really was a fab documentary and I will deffo be showing it to awais. Don't think he will pay much notice to the men cooking though 😢. Cant wait for your next episode, please speed up with production, no distractions!
@ Hahaha honestly I’d love to know Awais’s response 😜 next time maybe I’ll get the men to give Awais a shout out hahahaha. Aye aye captain yes ma’am next episode coming up! 🫡 No distractions and I am getting on with it! But please tell your Uncle Abbas to hurry up and get me the books I need for my research! @@khurammughal7275 Awww thank you so much. I think it’s Been the hardest documentary I’ve made in terms of research! That took around a month 😫 so you got to 22:56 when you commented. Did you manage to finish it ? 😜 If yes then what’s the feedback my friend?! Any highlights? Key points? Key learnings ? 😍 I’m so keen to know!
This is truly exceptional. I remember meeting you at Karim's place during the wedding. You told me that you're from the U.K. and I told you I lived in London. It was a short conversations but I was not aware you're there to film the wedding. You did everything so discretely yet your story telling and filming is so grand in terms of visual and narrative. Thank you for teaching me many things about Wakhi culture that I myself was not aware despite being Wakhi myself. There were some misinformation but that's very marginal and of course you're not an ethnographer but tried to remain true and honest to the culture. I will definitely invite you for my marriage :)
Helloooo my friend how lovely to see a message from somebody that I met! I really enjoyed reading your message you put a smile on my face. Thank you for watching and for such kind words. Omg you live in London?! Are you still here? I am in London ALL the time I was just there last week! We MUST meet! I am from the Midlands but I am down south often. All of my family are there as well. The reason why you didn’t know that I was there to shoot Karim’s wedding is because… I WASN’T there to shoot Karim’s wedding! Hahaha 😜 I was simply a tourist in Pakistan. Abida and & became friends and she very kindly invited me to the wedding. I had NO IDEA just how unique and different you people are so my experience at Karim’s wedding and in Hunza in general was just absolutely BEWILDERING! But because I wasn’t in Pakistan to shoot I don’t have any good footage ☹️ the only photos/videos that I have are those that a typical tourist would take. So basically a load of rubbish!! Which is why you’ll notice that in this documentary a lot of the footage isn’t mine! People VERY kindly gave me footage for the making of this documentary. As I travelled around Pakistan I was absolutely bewildered by what I was seeing. I had no idea that the country had so much to offer. So it was In Pakistan that I discovered what I want to do with the rest of my life which is to make documentaries on cultures around the world. So after returning to England I didn’t go back to my job, I started a new career on RUclips! So I have to say a big Thank You to people like YOU for helping me discover what my real calling in life is! I am absolutely GUTTED that I didn’t film Karim’s wedding properly & did such a terrible job. I was complaining to Abida yesterday that I wish I had documented his wedding properly, had a proper camera etc etc But now that I know what I did wrong and now that I am taking this seriously, I PROMISE for your wedding I shall do a much BETTER job! It will be 10 times better! Very professional and very high quality. You’ll be showing your grandchildren! 😉😜 Thank you again for watching and please keep in touch. Lots of love to you & your family ♥️♥️
thats awsome . the hunza culture is as beautiful as other cultures in gilgit baltistan like in astore vally, gilgit and skardu and other areas . there is a resemblace of love and tradition. and thanx to u to for a beautiful video.
That’s very kind of you to say! Thank you!! I did try to make my documentary as informative and personal as possible as I couldn’t find anything else online that showcases just how rich Wakhi culture is! I’d love to do something again like this in future 😍
Another fascinating journey, Period. OK Just finished watching the rest of it. My master thesis was on a small Structural Geology topic in an area in Hunza Valley. It appears to be nearby area. I was taken in by one of the tribes & lived with a family in their home. You’ll see in episode 3 😉 Thank you again for watching I really appreciate your support! ♥️
@@asrahussainn I think it was the area south of where you were, south of where that huge lake that was caused by massive landslide in 2010. I have forgotten the name of the village we stayed in. Actually, there were no hotels and we stayed at a local Police stations in one of the jail cells. Since the crime rate is negligible there, the rooms were empty and they offered us to stay there (LOL). The events you documented spells excellence. I love the opening shot of the mountains looking north. Those jagged peaks in the background are simply beautiful.
That is HILARIOUS that you stayed in empty prison cells 😂 I laughed out loud 😂😂 my goodness you are full of stories you will have to tell me more over a cup of tea! Remind me, you’re based in the USA right? Where about? The lake that was formed by the landslide is attabad. The village with it is called Attabad and the village next to it is hussaini. I think you may have stayed in Attabad village. I’ll be covering these places in the next episode! 🥳

Wow, truly impressive work! You have put in so much passion and diligence, and it shows. Just one note-"Chapati" is an Urdu word, while in Wakhi, it's called "Nigan." Bravo!
Hello hello! So lovely to wake up and see your comment from a Wakhi individual 😍 Thank you for such kind words you made me smile. Where are you from? Even though I stayed in Ghulkin I was all over Gojal! Maybe I had met your family? Regarding “chapati” it’s not actually an Urdu word! It’s an English word. The Urdu word is “roti”. Although the word “chapati” derives from Sanskrit it is used both in Hindi and English but predominantly English and in Hindi/urdu we say roti 😋 which is why in all of the supermarkets here in the UK it will be sold as ‘chapati’ to the English market. If you just google ‘what is roti in English?’ You’ll be able to read further 🙂 I find these things very interesting I’m very fascinated by languages. Thank you for teaching me the wakhi word ‘Nigan’. I hope you can teach me some more Wakhi when we meet in person! I am inviting myself to your home in Gojal! Hahahaha 😜😂 Thank you again for watching please do keep in touch! Lots of love to you and your family ♥️
@@asrahussainn Thank you so much, Asra for your thoughtful message, and my apologies for the delayed response. I have been inactive, especially on RUclips, due to some pressing engagements. I am glad you liked my comments and learned a new word! I beleive in learning-unlearning and re-learning! Let me share another interesting Wakhi term: "Khech", which is commonly used for roti but also to refer to a meal as a whole. Another term for Roti is "Shapik", which, as far as I know, originates from Burushaski. This reflects how the Wakhi language is influenced by neighboring languages. For instance, in Northern Pakistan and Chitral, Wakhi has borrowed many words from Burushaski, Khowar, Urdu, and even English. In Afghanistan, Dari exerts a stronger influence, while in China, Wakhi incorporates elements from Turkic and Uyghur languages. Similarly, in Tajikistan, it is shaped by Persian, Tajik, and Rushani, among others. In our globalized world, it is undoubtedly a challenge for endangered languages like Wakhi to survive, but there is hope-and people like you make a difference. On a related note, I had the privilege of teaching Wakhi in German University for a semester in collaboration with a German professor. It was fascinating to see young boys and girls take an interest in the language, especially considering its status as one of UNESCO’s endangered languages. As for me, I hail from the Chipursan Valley, a historic place known for many things predominantly the Baba Ghundi’s shrine or Ziarat. I have many relatives in Ghulkin as well; having lived much of my life away from the area, I understand that there are many people who may not know me, and vice versa. Nevertheless, I always strive to stay connected to my roots, which is why my current research focuses on the the same people, albeit from a different perspective. Hey, just a quick note on geography! While I’m not an expert, I believe Ghulkin lies within the Karakoram Range. That said, feel free to double-check, and let me know if it turns out to be otherwise! Once again, thank you for your beautiful production and remarkable contribution. Best regards,
@@KhonjonQ My friend thank you for getting back to me and for such a wonderful response 😍🥰 Wow I appreciate you sharing all of the linguistic terms. When we meet in person you can share more! Hey asra, been a fan of yours for awhile now. Yet another great video however I have one complain. As someone whose watching on a huge TV. The video resolution is not good. It doesn't do justice to the beauty in this video. It's not even 1080p resolution. Please try your best to upload videos in 4k quality because anything less looks not so good on bigger tv's. Much love cheers
My friend thank you for such a fantastic constructive message. Maybe you can help? I have been SO ANNOYED since yesterday that the video is not in HD when it has been exported in HD😩 and I can’t seem to understand why! The option for 1080p should be there! But it is not. I think I will contact RUclips support and find out How about the drone shots? Were they also very very low quality whilst watching? Would you mind just checking on the Tv again and letting me know? I made such a stooooopid mistake!! 😩😩 I’m kicking myself! But they did explain to me that the difference between 720 & 1080p is minimal. The real difference is when it’s 4k. Unfortunately nothing that I have filmed is in 4k ☹️ so just know that for this series even if RUclips gives the option of watching my video in 4k, majority of the documentary will only be in 1080p as you can’t upgrade footage ☹️ You may recall in episode 1 I mention that when I visited Pakistan I didn’t intend to film. I was simply a tourist. Hence I took videos/pics like a typical tourist would. Which is why everything is very shabby. Trust me I am kicking myself now.
His voice is just angelic:

Assalam-o-Alaikum Little Friend... I had to watch this episode in 2 parts, first on 10th and second today (19th) as I myself was busy in a wedding ceremony. I have always admired your focus on highlighting even small details and facts about whatever you are presenting in each episode. Above all, your mingling with local people, becoming a part of the family and enjoying the cultural traditions is truly lovable. Your efforts and hard work is speaking through the comments of your viewers. May Allah keep you and your loved ones blessed always and fulfil all your righteous desires. Ameen.

Your storytelling technique feels like it's at its peak here while you take us through their homes, their streets, their surroundings and their overall way of life.
Wakhi are indeed a beautiful people inside and out and you've successfully achieved showing us just that.
Happy Marriage to the beautiful couple and may they have a happy blessed life together.

Wonderful coverage of the region! I wish I can visit one day
@@sanjaymandal797 So glad that you enjoyed! I’d love to know if there were any highlights for you? Any key learnings ?
Your points were so fantastic I’ll refer to them individually
1. Yes you’re absolutely right about the location being close to Central Asia! It was part of the “Silk Road” (an ancient trade route) which connected China to Rome to trade silk, spices & wool. I’m sure you already know about this- I’m preaching to the choir here 😂😂
2. Since I’ve posted my Wakhi documentary, other people’s videos have been popping up in my recommended of Tajiks in China, Tajikistan, etc etc. the culture is practically the same as the Wakhis and the comments are filled with Wakhi people! So I’m trying to understand if Wakhi people are originally Tajik but then again their origin is unclear so it’s a hard one to figure out 🤷🏽♀️😩
The Wakhis don’t say chapatti or roti they have their own word in the wakhi language which I completely forgot 😂🙈
How lovely to hear about your grandfather studying in Lahore! 😍 where is he now? I really hope you get your travel Lahore & Peshawar you’ll have the best time.
I would absolutely love for you to watch my introduction documentary. I explain why I ended up in Pakistan & it links to my grandfather. It’s a very emotional story - many have wept tears.
Hahaha 😜
I was simply a tourist in Pakistan.
I was complaining to Abida yesterday that I wish I had documented his wedding properly, had a proper camera etc etc
But now that I know what I did wrong and now that I am taking this seriously, I PROMISE for your wedding I shall do a much BETTER job! It will be 10 times better! Very professional and very high quality. You’ll be showing your grandchildren! 😉😜

@@Alihassan-lp5mo I’m so glad you enjoyed! The wedding ceremony was incredibly bewildering to me. I had never seen anything like it! 😍
Another fascinating journey, Period. OK Just finished watching the rest of it. My master thesis was on a small Structural Geology topic in an area in Hunza Valley. It appears to be nearby area. This is the Northern Pakistan that is still etched in my memory. Thank You so much for capturing the beautiful scenery of the Hunza Valley, the beautiful bright eye kids. Wow what was the area that you did your masters on? I know hunza very well I know all of the villages so you can share with me 😉 yes of course all I drank was hunza water because I lived there for 2-3 months. I was taken in by one of the tribes & lived with a family in their home. You’ll see in episode 3 😉
Thank you again for watching I really appreciate your support!
Wow it turned out great ❤👍

If you just google ‘what is roti in English?’ You’ll be able to read further 🙂
I find these things very interesting I’m very fascinated by languages. Thank you for teaching me the wakhi word ‘Nigan’. I hope you can teach me some more Wakhi when we meet in person! I am inviting myself to your home in Gojal! Hahahaha 😜😂
Thank you again for watching please do keep in touch!
Best regards,
@@KhonjonQ My friend thank you for getting back to me and for such a wonderful response 😍🥰
Wow I appreciate you sharing all of the linguistic terms. When we meet in person you can share more! I find these things very interesting. I’m so impressed that you taught Wakhi in a German university. What an incredible life experience! Something to tell the grandchildren in future!! I knew Wakhi was an endangered language but I didn’t realise it’s been classed as a UNESCO endangered language! I wish I had known sooner I would have included it in my documentary 🙂
Wow you’re from Chipursan. If you recall I mention in the documentary that Karim’s bride was from Chipursan. I haven’t visited yet but I would like to. Does Chipursan fall in Gojal or Shimshal valley? And yes you’re correct about ghulkin being in the Karakoram range. All of Hunza is! Can’t wait to come back 🥰🥰🥰

I think I will contact RUclips support and find out
How about the drone shots? Were they also very very low quality whilst watching? Would you mind just checking on the Tv again and letting me know? Thank you so much you’re very kind! ♥️

Ok so the other day after we spoke and you went to work I contacted RUclips support and Final Cut Pro support (the editing software that I use) and they explained everything to me and what I did wrong. I made such a stooooopid mistake!! 😩😩 I’m kicking myself! But they did explain to me that the difference between 720 & 1080p is minimal. The real difference is when it’s 4k. Unfortunately nothing that I have filmed is in 4k ☹️ so just know that for this series even if RUclips gives the option of watching my video in 4k, majority of the documentary will only be in 1080p as you can’t upgrade footage ☹️
You may recall in episode 1 I mention that when I visited Pakistan I didn’t intend to film. I was simply a tourist. Hence I took videos/pics like a typical tourist would. Which is why everything is very shabby. Trust me I am kicking myself now. But once this series is over I am excited to get back out but this time I will film PROPERLY! I’ll have much better equipment & please pray that I have a team! I can’t be doing this one-man show anymore it’s too hard 😩😩 so you have to keep me in your prayers pleaseeee! 🤲🏽
