She really is QotSA's and Josh's truest and biggest fan because for her it's 100% about the music created as she has severe cerebral palsy and is also completely blind. She totally adores them and Josh's voice. I can't wait to watch/listen to this set with her tomorrow. Superb way to start our day. Thank You QotSA love Ali + Chloe xx
She does indeed, she has superb taste like her mum :). We are currently watching/listening to QotSA from this years Reading Festival in surround sound. I don't really know anything by Kyuss, should I hang my head in shame. I know who they are, I just haven't listened to any. It is a strong candidate, for sure. If only Joey didn't rush the beat that often. But, well, that's what he does. And don't get me wrong, he is my favorite QOTSA drummer, but I think he needed to slow down a bit sometimes, depending on the song, obviously.
I would argue that without Nick and Mark it's not as good, but to be fair, aside from Song for the Dead, none of the songs really suffer here without their original voices. Alain also did a great job replacing Nick and I guess he had the added bonus of not beating women.
