Queens of the Stone Age (commonly abbreviated QOTSA) is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Palm Desert, California. The band was founded by vocalist and guitarist Josh Homme. Formed after the dissolution of Homme's previous band Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age developed a style of riff-oriented, heavy rock music. Their sound has since evolved to incorporate a variety of different styles and influences, most notably including collaborations with Screaming Trees lead singer Mark Lanegan and Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl.
Most underrated band ever... Beatles. Led zeppelin. Pink Floyd.. QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. EXACTLY....
The first few albums yeah, not the soft stuff in recent years though …

this drummer makes me want to get up and break stuff. solid as a brick.
I love every single person in this band. Loving the backing vocals of Mikey Shoes.
Me too, he harmonizes great
Farkkkkk that drummer is phenomenal ( & hot AF 🔥)
every time i think i have watched their best concert ever another better one comes along Josh is on point tonight
The intensity on Michael Shuman's face at 1:12:26 🤯
Lol i remember seeing these guys open for the Chili Peppers @ Blossom music center in Cuyahoga falls ohio in 2003.
They came out like viking warlords on berserker tea n PBR cans and absolutely annihilated the entire crowd w unrelenting menacing rock n roll barbaricism .
I became an instant fan .
Happy thanksgiving to all
I love how you described their “force radiating aura”. They’re one of the big ones who’s got that kind of energy for sure! I’m a huge fan of them myself too.
Yeah they had that vibe even before then, I saw them at Ozzfest 2000 and they rocked the crowd at 2 in the afternoon in orange jumpsuits pre-Grohl on SFTD. Josh knew.
@@timmatthews1604 hell yeah dude cheers
i seen that gig in Saint Paul, the Mars Volta opened, Mark Lanegan did some vocals for Queens who were the middle band. The Peppers were not the Peppers of 91 ,who I had seen back then..
@@randstadwoodbury7171 that’s sick I love the Volta and oddly enough Mark Lanegans’ voice is similar to Hommes’ I’ll bet Mark crushed it …yea John Frusciante came back sober and hard af I’ve been downloading bootlegs of this 2022 rhapsody tour n John is killing it harder than ever before ..I’m planning on going to the Seattle rhapsody strokes gig but I won’t take the Pope venom vaccine so we will see
Thanx for sharing that e me n enjoy you’re summer
THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY TO SEE during the lockdown. What a beautiful memory
Holy shit I'm glad you snagged this!
Been a fan of rock n roll all of my life and Josh Homme is original as it gets! I fuckin love you man... wow!!!!
Most excellent choice of guitars
Thanks for posting!
Holy shit, only 340 people liked this masterpiece? What's wrong with this world?
Crazy how underappreciated this band is, huh?
Thank you for this! Was there for the show. Good memories. 🥴🤣
Audio improved a lot after Millionaire. 👌
Funny thing is that's exactly way they start with that song: hardass audiocheck. :3
thanks!
This band is 🔥
Pretty rare to find a setlist with In My Head, one of my favourites for sure!
tanks!!
Epic song for the dead
The bass on Do it again sounds sick
A sing for the dead - apocalyptic insane geniusness…
This show is bananas
Agree. Fucking mental.
👌👌👌
Queens of the Stone Age
song for the dead is timeless better with mark lanegan and dave grohl but this version is also awesome
2014
A dream since 2000... a danged hottub or even a garden tub... achies suuuuck. Random, I know... 😜🤪
"Small Midwest towns" will eat you if you dream, especially if you land a self-centered and dispassionate companion to "situationship" with for a decade...
Even though I never met them... a few people I wish I had... Yma Sumac, Amy Winehouse, Sarah Vaughn, Layne Staley, Chris Cornell, Prince, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Ginger Baker, Neil Peart, Israel Kamakawiwoʻole... so, so many...
David Gilmour, but he doesn't come to the states, anymore. 😕
Whoever mixed this recording at the show needs to be fired because he completely missed all of the back up singers and all of the screams and all of the accents on to these songs this person obviously didn’t know anything about queens of the Stone Age
Hmm
Missed this one so thanks.
You got The XX from 2017 they aired Thursday aswell?
I don't have that one, but you can find it here:

Mo salah on the drums🤣
.......
Is it just me or does the snare sound like a tom here?
Recording for the drums isn’t great, agreed
34:24 Is that a 3 persons tower? Broken neck 🥴
Last tour Homme sang on key and so far the only tour Theodore kept his shit together throughout the set, mostly anyway. Some of the setlists during 13'-14' rival those of the Lullabies tour.
Shame about the subpar broadcast mix, some trainee must have been on the knobs during Millionaire and was promptly removed before No One Knows kicked in. There's so much mids being pushed through that the essentials, Josh's guitar and voice, cut through by themselves, the rest should just sit neatly around it. Don't understand how the people working for these networks are so utterly clueless. At least the bottom end doesn't appear entirely missing.
Kinda funny because Hutch's PA mix is always on point and the band prides themselves on seriously shakin' dick when it comes to sounding good live, maybe they should hire their own broadcast mixer who knows what the fuck they're doing.
Vocals aren't as good on this one :(
just the beginning!! they adjusted after
👌👌👌
