Another great review, this guy really does deserve more subscribers, no waffle, just all the information clear and concise. I bought 3 x AOC 24g2u based on your previous review and I’m delighted with them in triple surround. Maybe 3 of these when 3090’s don’t cost the same as a house. Good job again!!
Excellent video man! I echo the same sentiments as the others; your channel is highly overlooked in spite of the superb reviews. Keep it up though, eventually the grind will pay off in spades. You'll get the recognition you deserve
Can't believe this man puts so much effort and makes such good videos and still has only 20k subscribers. Keep it up man you gonna be a rock star for sure!
Monitore sind schon eine Wissenschaft für sich. Aber dein professioneller Kontent gefällt mir, vor allem für diese Kanalgröße überdurchschnittlich gut. Das gibt ein Abo.
Even if AOC send you this as a review sample. You did a awesome job nitpicking on what you like and hate about the monitor. Truly one of the best and honest Tech reviewer out there. Keep up the great content man and I still hope you review the Lenovo G24-20, If it is available in your country. It is kinda new (Release Nov. 2021) and I barely see any good review about it. Mostly SEA tech review, maybe cause it is more common in SEA.
Amazing video dude, your one of the most underrated tech RUclipsrs! You put so much effort into making, editing videos and also your thumbnails are amazingly made. I just have one question, where do you get your wallpapers on thumbnails and in the video because they awesome?
Hello there, I’m a fan of your work & I love your content. I look forward to watching your videos. I need your help, I’m looking for the best monitor for my PS4 Pro, I will be gaming in 1080p & my budget is around 200 dollars…but I would love to spend less…can you recommend some monitors?
That annoying fan noise is probably because of the native G-Sync module. I main a PG349Q ultrawide which also has a module in it, I doubt it has a fan since it's always quiet, but it gets fairly warm, haven't noticed this phenomenon with any other monitor so far.
Could you please review the ViewSonic XG2405 ? It's an excellent choice for low money. I already have it, but I'd love to have your ICC profile... I used one before and it was great so. And I totally recommend it you: great panel, AMAZING stand, 1MS (weird one btw... kinda low your brightness), 144HZ...
Did you ever tested the AOC Agon U27G3X/BK, 27"? I am curious about the high ppi. I have never seen ppi 163 but its only 160 hz and only Adaptive Sync, NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible which is sadge
Hi, your videos are excellent. Please do you have an opinion about MSI Optix MAG245R? I want to buy a 1080p 144hz 24", and my choice is between MSI Optix MAG245R (230€) and ASUS TUF Gaming VG249Q (220€).
@techless Awesome video man, I looking monitor for something like 500$ and Idk what I should choice Acer Predator XB273UGS vs Asus ROG Strix XG27AQ what do u think
I have a question that i couldn't find an answer to for a while now... How does an 8 Bit monitor with %99 sRGB color gamut display more colors than an 8 Bit monitor with %77 sRGB color gamut capability? Aren't they both limited to 8 Bits?
iMenu is easier and much faster software than G-Menu. iMenu does not have all the futures that G-Menu has. But is fast, very FAST. And does not require USB connection. Regards
Thank you for the amazing content! Could you please review the Xiaomi 24.5 1080p, 165Hz, 2ms GTG IPS monitor? Model xmmnt245hf1. In paper seems like very good value as it comes with a factory calibration and can be bought as low as €154 these days. Is it worth compared to the AOC 24g2u? Thank you
guys help, why this monitor is not with other monitors on freesync website? i mean all g-sync compatible and g-sync monitors had freesync-compatible or freesync premium. But this one is not there (i don't see it at least). Can someone help me understand why is that and if its bad considering other Agon monitors that i consider have freesync
What happened to black uniformity tests? You didn't cover that with EX2510S as well. I bought EX2510 which was perfect when it comes to backlight bleed but had a stuck pixel so I returned it. Tried with two different EX2510S and both had backlight bleed issues. Having real trouble finding a good 1080p/24inch gaming monitor with satisfactory backlight bleed. :(
I honestly think those backlight photos are a bit boring and don't add much value to the review - after all individual monitors can still be pretty different. So I usually don't feel like including them if a monitor doesn't either show extraordinarily good or bad results. But here you go: bit.ly/AG274QG-Backlight 🙂
does this monitor support dsc or have you've been able to run it at 2k/240Hz and 10bpc? this should be more than displayport 1.4 is capable, but with Display stream compression it would be possible.
Can you try mobile application Camera Clorimeter on android and windows please ,it good enough for use or not I’m using it right now and am not sure about its accuracy. I use for acer vg272lv and lenovo notebook
AOC has a builtin custom software to control monitor settings right?? its called AOC G-Menu.(just like Msi and Gigabyte's Gaming monitor software). So i wonder if there is any need to use the REMOTE or the plastic TOGGLE on back of the monitor to control the settings. and yes as a reviewer it must be mentioned alright, but if any1 did buy this monitor, its better to use the software tool. just push the slider in software to control brightness or set custom profiles.
@@techlessYT oh right ,sorry i was going through only the important aspects of the Video..Damn it must be Difficult then, when using different settings frequently. Thank You for the Detailed Review. Nicely done =)
For almost a week I have been watching videos in order to have more knowledge about buying a monitor, but for what I have seen it's very scary. I have read reviews on amazon about people having problems with flickering, dead pixels and the worst of all, backlight bleeding. So now I'm afraid if I order a monitor I will encounter these problems. I don't want to have to deal with return policies and costumer services, that seems to be awful in most cases. I thought that I was going to buy it and that's it, it was going to work just like any decent tv. I feel like we are in early years if we haven't managed to get this right after so many years. I feel Unless we pay 600+ we will be destined to encounter a lot of problems and even then, I have also read reviews of high end monitors with their problems. this suuuucks T_T
Hi, is there any calibrated icc profiles for aoc 24g2e? I think it uses the same panel as the new 24g2 (1000:1 contrast ratio), but when i try downloading some profiles and drivers from the aoc website it shows 24g2w1g5.icm while for 24g2 it shows as 24g2w1g4.icm. Your channel is just a hidden gem. Not everyone is aware of it but soon people will be rushing for the gem.

Can you do a tutorial on how you setup your wallpaper? Like, do u use Wallpaper engine, where do u choose your wallpaper, and how to set it up?
Does this do 10 bit 240Hz over DisplayPort or only 8 bit like the Alienware counterpart?
