These Forrest Grove sneakers look to be the rebranded version of the Adidas Oregon, which I used to wear 15 ago.

The insole on these forest grove are slightly more soft than the last pair of this style I had 15 years ago…back then it was slightly harder and didn’t flatten down as much.

Hi Rob - specifically for wanting to increase height would you say you’re better getting a pair of Hogan Interactives plus using a small insole inside e.g 0.5 inch or buying a shoe from Guiddo Maggi that gives you an advertised lift of 3 inches?
Don’t fake it, ain’t worth it. You will be caught eventually and you are gonna get shit for it.
Hogan interactives already add 2 inches and adding lifts to it will make it quite obvious..

I’ve done this before, got 5ft 10. Believe it’s still on my channel for all to see (I was fairly quirky in my older videos). In that same video I said I was 5ft 9 1/2 when not fully compressed. Looking back, it was cringy to listen to myself say that with all those false measurements. But I kept them just for mild nostalgia.

Hi rob, How accurate is the height with the iPhone 13 pro? My brother claimed to be 179, and in that program he really turns out to be 179 cm. Also, do you think the program can calculate the height of long hair and shoes? that is, if he wears shoes with a height of 3 cm, does it come out 182 cm or does the program distinguish the shoe and subtract 179 cm?
The iPhone measure includes shoes with the measurement.
It measured me about an inch higher so not sure if it’s accurate
Rob, i have 33,5 inseam for someone who's not even solid inch over 5'8 at noon, i'm 17, 2 ish years old currently, do you have any suggestion for me to improve my upper body because if we judge based on inseam, there's like only 1 cm difference between my inseam and upper body length, and this is inseam like from the floor to the crotch area
That is a fairly long leg length...maybe there is still a chance of some upper growth, considering you haven't reached 18 yet. Good luck!

maybe look at your parents if they also have relatively short torso’s you can assume your growth is finished, but if your parents toros are longer than your torso could grow a couple of inches. Your leg bones have fused I’m almost certain but your spine could still be open

Hey rob my doctors said I’m 5’11 but I measured myself with a tape measure and sometimes I get 5’9 or 5’10 which is more accurate a tape measure or the machine the docs use to measure height ?
Sometimes doctor measurements can be off, i’ve been measured half inch shorter than my actual height. If you’re using a tape measure, use it accurately, Rob has a video on it. Or use a stadiometer.
Subiwu can digital stadiometers be inaccurate? I measured at 176.5 cm (5’9.5”) in October 2022 an hour after waking up but my mid day height is 178.7 cm (5’10 3/8) and my end of day height was 176.4 at home with the tape measure against the wall.

Therefore, I have come to ask you one thing since you are the only person that I think can be trusted in what I am going to ask you, and that is: Do microfractures work?
A few months ago I read several testimonials from people who performed them on pages like Quora and they showed positive results and spoke highly of microfractures. I have also seen some Indian gurus talking about microfractures and comments from people who say they have had excellent results.
I was talking to a fellow nursing assistant a few months ago and he told me that a microfracture was making small breaks in the bone. These breaks are made by jumping or jogging repeatedly, then I think you have to stretch and this will cause these microfractures in the bones to create space that will be filled by bone naturally. This microfracture technique in theory only works on pimples.
I would really like you to tell me your opinion on this topic since it seems to me a very interesting topic and one that is not known.

I don't think any Doctor would be recommending a patient to induce microfractures to gain height.
Look at all the elite athletes whose full time job is getting the body in peak condition for their sport. Do any of them really grow taller in mid to late 20's...
Hey Rob. Quick question, what is your exact height when you pose with celebrities? At times, it seems 5’8 1/2 and other times it’s only 5’8 1/4. Which is more accurate?
We did a dealers table at many cons so I’d be up early on feet a lot and active, so I’d be closer to my low in a lot of photos…think 5ft 8.25 at most for the majority of photos.
Those photos are usually midday to afternoon, so he’s usually under 5’8 ½ most of them are 5’8 ¼

Rob I do have a question about my weight and height.. I'm 230pounds and 5'10¾ so.. I've noticed that I lose height in just 3 or 2 hours (about 0.5 inch) the first think that I do I go outside and walk with my dogs and when I get back home I measure myself and I see 5'10.5.
Do you think there's any relation between my weight and the lose of height??

Drinking more water could make u hold ur max height for longer... I guess, weight does play a role too.

Everyone shrinks but being very heavy can make you slightly shorter. I’m quite skinny 155 lbs and 6’ 3/4 quite active but I seem to barely shrink throughout the day

Hey Rob there is an extremely wrong idea that young men in the west born after 2000 are taller significantly than the ones born in 1980s and 70s on average while statically proven other wise to the extent I heard extremely wierd claims like average in the Netherlands being 198 cm and Britain average young men being 185 cm while statically average for young Dutch men is 184 cm and young British men 177 cm (including all backgrounds) and when I bring up stats those people have audacity to say stats are wrong
Yea no way the average is that high for those countries. Younger adults will probably be 1-2 cm taller than the normal average, and over 3-4cm taller than older people, boomers and before

Rob, I have been worried about height loss for the past 2 months because I had a sore neck, shoulders, throat and chest and the doctor said I have sore stress and she said I have to keep my mind busy and I’m 19 years old and I know I’m probably to young to be worried lost but do you think I could shrink from sore stress
There should be no worries about height loss at your age or in 20's, unless there is some injuries or you spend 10 hours every day in a chair playing games.

I have seen that you once presented a source that sleeping "enough" has minimal effect on height and that you're opinion was that diet and excercise are important when young. Looking back, how did you do interms of these things and if you did them with an higher intensity, could you have been around an inch taller than you are now possibly? I have heard that you were a really good student, so maybe you're focus at the time was mostly on school?

Bad posture can depend but it can make u appear a couple inches shorter, decent posture is what most people have and if u have good posture then u will appear slightly taller than everyone else
so i needed a physical for football i went to urgent care and it said 65 inches, but my lil brother is 67 inches and i tower over him so wtf. at home i measured at 5ft 11.5 on a stadiometer

Rob, I hope you answer it. My height at night is actually 168.5cm, this is the lowest i reach in a day being 17 hours out of bed, is it fair to claim 5ft6 1/2? When I use backpack to go to school with a certain weight to carry, I loose a couple of millimeters in the end of the day, is that normal? on weekends, for example, I end up measuring around 168.5cm, during the week around 168.2-.3, is it possible or maybe I'm measuring myself wrong?

Go with your height (and best posture) so 175cm isn't a bad claim...although I think you have room to improve your natural standing posture, based on what figures you give there.

The difference from eye is head to 4.5-5 inches on average, so from the middle of the ears would be another 2 inches. So your 6.5-7 inches taller than your dad 5’10 range

Yes very close…maybe not absolute low, but enough to class you as a pretty solid 5ft 8 guy
U have been up for 6hrs so u wont be at ur lowest height, but u will be near it. Usually by 11-12 hrs awake hrs most people will hit their low. So ur low might be 5’7 ¾ and u might wake up near 5’8 ½.

In terms of ideal, common figures I've seen are 6ft 1 and 5ft 7.

You can see it's not far off 2.5mm error.

Of course, just take off 2mm every time you measure :) If it were 1cm, that would be way too huge an error...for me, about 3mm is about the limit for any stadiometer, before I'd get a refund.

Uk 8.5 is my main size (us 9.5). I go up to 10us if the style is narrow fitting.
Hi rob , bit off topic but I am 5’9” and I seem shorter than I am because I have slopped shoulders , they are low not horizontal and I think because I am not broad my height looks lower although the top of my heads not haha , I can stand next to people I am taller than yet my shoulders are same level as there’s is this a thing? Yes, shoulder levels can influence perception, so it’s not a surprise if you get guessed shorter on occasion.
If any if your shoulders are lower, it would make your neck look longer which makes you look taller

Same, my shoulders seem a bit low but that’s also cuz I have a longer neck. Usually someone a foot shorter the top of their head would match someone’s shoulder, for me they would be slightly taller than my shoulder

I feel like being lanky makes you look longer which perceive you to think the person is taller. Especially if the person has long legs, not so much with a long torso

lets be realistic,nowadays id say bellow 5’10-9 its short,im 6 f and half 200pounds and 80%of the time i feel short.The new generations are crazy tall,my little brother just turned 15 he is 6’3 and he is mid amoung his friends

Yeah I think you’re capping your height. I heard how everyone was so tall before I went to holland and then when I’m there I see young avg is no more than 5-11.5 at most.
