- What thickness are a pair of Crocs? Big Rob and Jenny from CelebHeights.com with a measurement video of a new pair of Crocs.
They may look quite thick from the outside, but maybe it's a surprise to some that they give under an inch.

Would like your thoughts on my height. Probably overdoing it, but I’m big on accuracy.
I usually wake up around 7:45am for my job, I will be around 176.15-3cm, depends on hours of sleep got.
I have a sitting/standing job in an office and when I get home around 5:30pm/6pm I’ll measure 174/174.2cm depending on the day.
If I go to the gym and get home at around 7:30pm I’ll hit 173.7cm.
On a day of work, I tend to drop to 173.7/8cm in the evenings regardless of the gym if I’m upright either sitting or standing the whole day.
I know on a more relaxed weekend day I don’t really hit below 174cm.
Am I a strong or weak 174cm?
174 cm 5’8 ½ sounds like a good claim, on a relaxed day u might be 175 cm most of the day
You're definitely 174cm
Most your heigt would just say 175 or 176.

My morning height most days is 5'10 3/4, but my tallest morning height with best sleep right out of bed is 5'11.
Most days I am 5'10 or 5'10 1/4 on the afternoon, depending on activity.
On more active days my evening low is 5'9 3/4, but my absolute low at an extreme day was 5'9 1/2.
I also always wear 2 or 3 true net inches shoes (measured).
What height would I appear on the site? What height would be my fair claim?
On a footnote, my eye level is only 4 inch, my shoulder is also an inch closer to the top of my head than the average, I am wide framed with big hands and feet, with a 6'2 wingspan mainly due to my wide shoulders and big hands. What do you think my perceived height is?
I’m the same, highest 180cm and lowest 175cm I have anterior pelvic tilt that’s why it can go that low. My wingspan is 181cm. People usually guess in the range of 5’9 to 5’11 which is correct.
All site measurements are barefoot in the afternoon so u would probably be listed at 5’10 ¼. Realistically u should claim 5’10 maybe 5’10 ½ barefoot, but since u wear 2-3 inch shoes u could appear to be above 6ft.
Rob would list you at a flat 5'10, I almost guarantee you. Maybe 5'10 1/8 absolute max. 5'10 is a totally legit claim.
You lose a lot of height from morning to extreme low. Do you have shorter legs and longer upper body? If so you can definitely get away with your 2-3 inch boost from shoes without it looking as obvious as it would on someone that already has really long legs.
As far as perception it depends. Short eye level makes you look taller; if you have a short or even average neck you'll definitely look more than 5'10. At least 5'11, and with all the fake 6'0 claimers out there many people would probably think you're 6 ft, barefoot.
If you wear the 3 inch shoes you could pull off looking 6'1, possibly 6'2 but that's pushing it. Again it all depends on neck length and overall body proportions.
Plz suggest shoes to add 2 to 3 inch height
@@ShahnawazAlam-po5fj i went trough all shoes in my style from a normal webshop choosing the biggest shoe to fit a sole. then made a sole with the local shoemaker, to max it out, and thats a 2 incher net. then ordered a bunch of shoes from an elevator shoe store + soles which I put in them. a 3 inch shoe+1 inch sole will give you 3 true inches. anything more is basically impossible without looking and walking ridiculous. mine are not noticable at all, but somewhat uncomfortable and your ancle is in a little danger if you slip or walk on bad terrain. you also cant run very well. i wear the 2 incher every day and the 3 incher when in need of a good first impression, like clubbing for example.
Rob I wake up at 5’10.5 and always end up at 5’9.5

I'm 21 and 5' 8''. Both of my grandfathers were 5' 11'' - 6'. My dad is 5' 8'' and my mom is around 5' 5''. Will I shoot up more, or am I capped? I'm not too concerned about height because limb lengthening surgery is a thing and will most likely be improved over the years to come. I just want to know if I'm capped. Height doesn't really do much for me, but I'm just interested.
Rarer to gain at 21….not impossible but if I were that age and wanted to maximise the chance I’d ensure good diet, exercise and enough sleep

Hey Rob I'm kind of panicing because when i first measured with aerosol can I got 182.8cm however after repeatedly measuring many many times my spine compresses itself and i got down to 182.4cm in 20 minutes where i just stood and measured. is that normal?
If it’s a morning measurement, it’s normal. Some people can lose a few mm of height in less than an hour after awaking

I guessed the crocs added 0.75-1” (2-2.5 cm). But, I guess I am not so far off. 2.1 cm is good. I think more than 4 cm will make a person look insecure about their height.

Hi Rob, I am about 5'10 flat out of bed, and shrink to around 5'9 flat or a touch over (5'9 1/8) depending on daily activity. Do you think a 5'9.5 or 176.5cm claim is fair based on these measurements?
Also, I am 17 male - do you know if there is any possibility of growth to the full 5'10 or even more at my age? My father is 5'11 and mother 5'4 for reference.

Not very likely at this age. I was about 181 at this age and im full grown 185. So maybe 180 cm and that's not short. Focus on things you can influence like personality. 😊
Unlikely, ur already at 18 and mom kinda affects how tall u will get.

I don’t think it’s the full 2 inches. The outsole looks about 2 inches but the insoles are probably slightly less. Somewhere around 1.5 or 4cm range if I had to assume
Can anyone help me today I was measured by my friend father who was shorter than me. He measured me at 171cm and 172cm with a tape measure in my all stars shoes is it possible that he might have measured me wrong pls help anyone
He may have, it’d be best to check again
Rob has a video on how to properly measure with different tools. Also take ur shoes off to find ur proper barefoot height, and no carpet

@@Jay-jg3mf It depends on the Jordan 4 variant. Mine are months old and used quite a bit, it currently sits at an inch flat, but fresh out the box some variants can be around 1.25 inches
@Sanjoy Kundu It depends on the variant. Although 3.5 cm was a stretch, just like other jordans it depends on which ones u get. Some might be a few mm less or more than others in that same Jordan category
I just got a new pair, it add 3.2cm fresh out the box. I think it depends on the version. I have older ones that only give 2.3cm

At 19 a small fraction can grow a slight bit, but once in ur early 20s, it’s pretty rare to grow. Males that do grow in their 20s will usually gain no more than an inch

She shrank more from morning to evening, nearly a full inch. In 2023 still out of bed 5ft 8.25

April 28th 2023 I'm 5'10.5 / 179cm I don't know what I'm doing to grow but I'm taller than my dad I'm also 17 years old now
I'd guess you'll stay the same height or maybe you'll catch up to your dad. I didn't really grow past 16 but everyone is different. Best thing you can do is work on your posture. I have a really bad slouch and if I actually stand up straight, it makes a huge difference and I gain about 2 inches.

I was 176 cm when I was around 16 and a half years old and this was my height in the evening, and then 2 months after I turned 17, I checked it around 9 pm in the night and I was already around 177.5 cms so yea I have defo grew around 2 cms and now I think I’m around 178 cms and I turn 18 in 5 months
