There is an unique sense of comunity when a bunch of females who dont know each other start doing their makeup and is like a bonding moment. i once did my makeup on the bus on my way to college, i was sitting on the last row and when i looked up, all the girls around me were doing something with their faces, one was doing lashes, other was putting lipbalm, other some lipstick, one went a bit too far and was removing her brows with tweezers, but i was sitting there and felt so proud for all of us.
Tyra we all know you don't do your makeup. We all know you have a professional personal makeup artist that lives with you in case you need to run some errands like shopping or Grocery store he's there with you putting on your makeup....just to go grocery shopping?

Ladies. .use translucent powder.. NOT the one with color in it (either loose or pressed) to set the make up! I have tried every make up out there. .my personal fave concealer is by It Cosmetics it even hides a tattoo!! It brightens up the eyes! My pics look amazing. Also Make up Forever foundation..and Too Face has the best lipsticks. And last..try a colored gel for eyebrows! Its not cheap..save $ and get to sephora! Invest in great make up brushes..Elf (Target) work really well and eye makeup.
your totally right about the smiling with the blush! most girls just watch other girls and assume that that is how we should do it, blush should be on the cheekbones! there are a lot of things that tyra did that bothers me such as the attacking your face with the powder brush. she's just wiping off the foundation!
yeah they only suggest that technique for younger faces, otherwise makeup artists suggest that you just apply blush right to your cheekbones - no smiling involved your makeup tip for the day :)
