I'm surprised about the false pregnancy part. The animal kingdom is really interesting! I still have my cat Leo, he's around 19 years old now! I found him on the streets, possibly a catch and release program because he doesn't have his front claws and he's been neutered. I couldn't bear to leave him outside without his claws. I asked him if he wanted a new home and he meowed at me, and we've been together ever since! Here in the US they're finally realizing that declawing a cat is inhumane. I have 3 girls,all are spayed. The Munchkin,Anemone was the only one who went into heat before I got her fixed. Madoka,my Snowshoe cat,responds to sounds of kittens on videos by trilling.She’s never had a litter though!
My dearly departed red Persian cat Sasha yowled a lot when she got sexually mature,even after she was spayed. My dearly departed gray mackerel tabby cat Carol was spayed before she got sexually mature so she acted like a big kitten 🐈.
My friend has four year old twin girls...completely different personalities, with one a perfect housecat, and the other is just mad at the whole world...I was cat sitting them the second time they went into heat...the mean one went first, and I spent lots of time with just her...four days later her nice sister went into heat, so she got most of my attention...third day the nice one was in heat, the mean one apparantly decided to fake being in heat again, in an attempt to get more attention...but, this is the same girl who fights us to the death, when its time to get in the carry bag and go back home from my place, then acts like a perfect angel at the vet, even while shes being picked up and passed around by the staff...lying is her middle name...🐈
@@annlavine3576It’s not preferable, but the age of sexual maturity is not too young in animals, except for humans, who are not animals but foolishly classified as such. Cats don’t have issues having kittens at 6 months, unless it’s a large litter or there’s something wrong with Mama.
my kitties are always spayed as a requirement of the shelters. But I'd do it anyway. This year I took in a kitten from a community litter for the first time and her first vet visit included vaccines, parasite treatment, and the scheduling of her spay for when she would be about 4 months based on my best estimate of her birthday. My baby I lost last year was a kitten in the shelter so she never got pregnant, but I have no way of knowing if she ever had a heat and if her having any heat cycles could have contributed at all to her ultimate cancer. And then I adopted an obder cat who came in with her kittens but they spayed her and she I hope she stays healthy for a long time. Given there's still definitely 1 or 2 males around the neighborhood that irresponsible owners refuse to take care of, I wan none of it. ,

I have a female I haven't got spayed and I don't plan on it. I refuse to do something to a animal that I wouldn't do myself. Found her about 1.5 years ago when she was just barely old enough to eat solid foods. She doesn't go into heat a lot and even when she does just becomes an even bigger cuddle bug than she already is. Besides shes an indoor cat so there isn't anything to worry about

Please Please Please spay and neuter your cats. There are too many strays roaming around scrounging for food and shelter. Rescue is the answer. 😻

she could get cancer in her reproductive organs. If she ever has kittens what will you do?
