This was a very informational video, I learned a few new things and was reinforced with facts I was taught and use daily. For 13 years I took care of a Feral colony of no more than 25 cats at any time. I had babies brought to my yard by their Mama"s when they were ready to ween them. It was clockwork two or three Moms had two litters a year and 2 to 3 weeks apart. I'd start petting the kittens, holding them, etc., to socialize them with humans. It was also to get them adopted and keep the colony under control. I'd trap those that decided they were just wild and free and they were Spayed/Neutered. EVERY cat has its own personality, unique traits, color, markings, wants, and needs, you name it. And they gave me much happiness and at times heartbreaking grief. Best of all I had great success in getting so many adopted each year. I also came to own 12 of my own from the different mamas, only 2 of them are with me now. If you take the time to watch your cat and pay attention to how they act and responds to things, it will become a relationship that flows along easily. I'm lucky my cats are so in tune with me, and vice versa, that sometimes it's like we can read the thoughts of one another. I am so blessed.
I just got my first kitten 2 weeks ago. Boy did I have Cats all wrong. They are the perfect pet and friend ever. The cuddles and playing I am enjoying so much. Still have to get a name for her something besides "the cat". I fell in love 10x over again. Thank you for all the information provided, very useful.
We have a neighbourhood cat that makes constant visits with some of the families on the street. Our house is the first on his route. He comes to me for belly rubs and affection in general. Sits on our laps, stands on guard on our front lawn (As if he's protecting us). He gets a few treats and then he move's on. I've even seen him wait at the back of the local convenient store waiting for a tin of food which of course they give him with pleasure. This cat is the highlight of my week. I always look forward to his visits.
Cats are east pets 1. Truly love them 2. Keep litter clean 3. Let them be 4. Don't over feed. But give them as much water as they want. 5. Toys and treats
Jack was one of the popular names. I named my cat Jack because I rescued him from the shelter on Christmas Eve. Short for Jack Frost! Truth be known, my grandchildren and I needed rescuing ourselves, grieving for their mother oh, my daughter who has passed away. Jack saved Our Lives, bringing so much love and joy to us all. It's funny but he has a definite different relationship to each one of us, instinctively knowing what each of us needs.
We are very sorry for your loss, Lori. It truly is incredible how much animals can help us heal when we are mourning the loss of a loved one. We are very happy to hear that Jack brought your family so much joy❤️
My Mrs would tell my cat "No" and "stop" if he was doing something wrong but i always just say 'Be a good boy" and he reacts a lot more positive to me because he associates the words good boy with getting a fuss and love. Now my Mrs does it the same way as me cause she saw it works better.
Around 14 years ago, I was adopted by the runt of the litter from a local farm. She came up to me, sniffed my hand, and let me pick her up. She became my best friend, and a part of my family. We've been inseperable ever since.
I miss my friends’ old kitty, Kitty The Kitty 😂 the part about belly rubs reminded me of her. I was there on the day they started fostering Kitty (adopted/rescued off an older relative) which was a stressful day for the poor old lady cat. But just about every time I ever saw her after she settled in at the new house, she would floop over right in front of my toes and let me rub her belly just for a minute ❤️ what a sweet ol girl she was
My cats were the sweetest babies. The never hissed, never swung their claws at anyone (even if i accidentally hurt them because i wasn't aware they were there), hung out with strangers, and let me bath them and clip their nails with little fuss. One even would even try to get in the bathtub with me when I took a bath and play with the water. And one loved belly rubs and would nibble if I stopped. They were siblings and good with other animals and a foster kittens that stayed with us. I never considered myself a cat person before, but they acted very similar to dog, always following me, sleeping with me, and wanting to play (to the point they were wrestling in my room at 4 am and I had to kick them out where they would cry to be back in). I always feared my next cat won't fit my lifestyle like those two did. Ps, you say they hate onion, but everytime i dropped an onion, they kept trying to eat it. . . they were weird ones.
Such wonderful companions! There's no need to compare pets because they will always find a way to bring happiness into our lives but... It is kinda surprising that they were trying to eat your onions 🤔
onion + garlic contain an enzyme that cat bodies cannot break down which will eek into their bloodstream. it causes them pain & discomfort ~12hrs after they ingest it. it's not that they don't like it, they're allergic. if it was cooked with other food, they may still want to eat it, you can't let them
I lost my darling boy of 14 years to kidney failure b4 he died at vets I asked him to follow the light an return to our home as a spirit cat an he's here. 22 August 2021 was a sad day. He hid his illness till he weed on the floor an there was blood an his loud meow I knew he was in pain but it was too late. April 2022 8 put meals out to the steam feral cats one day an I never received pats n hugs from the 5 of them that I still feed now. But that day a ginger kitten came looked at me an I bent down to pat him an he jumped up for me to pat an hug him checked out my backyard for the next 3 days gave ,e hugs went on his way. 4th day he stayed the night anfollowed me everywhere in the house I thought wow he needs a name he seemed like a ghost cat going to be on his way soon, so I named him casper but he looked at me didn't like I have a six sense with cats so called him jasper it's been 2 months now month of May. I love him my spirit cat scares him sometimes, but it's a happy house my husband can't believe it don't know where he's come from, the other cats seem to get on OK with him. Now they are starting to become friendly. But vet visits cannot afford can't catch the feral ones. Have a couple cat houses outside an litter boxes in an out. My cat jasper follows me everywhere never had that treatment he's like a bodyguard I go toilet he's asleep open the door an he's right there. Gorgeous very loving very cuddly.ihe let's me know when he senses our spirit cat. Where do I get help I'm from rotorua nz email jakporteous@gmail.com by for now
Open cuddles are good. They should be free to come and go. And I proved it's good because my male cat Frito is completely non-aggressive with me and "talks" at me to let me know if he wants or needs something. He had a UTI that I didnt know about but he kept meowing at me really loudly and not snuggling as much as he usually does so I took him to the vet and got him fixed up
My Mrs used to pick my Lilly up to give her cuddles when she didn't it where if I picked her up I would always have her just sat on my arms so she knew she can get down at any time and I'm not making her do something she didn't want. Now Lilly bites my Mrs when she goes to her while she treats me as though I'm her mum
my cats both love belly rubs, my girl will lay curled up in the middle of my arms and tap my hand until I put it on her tummy, if I move my hand away, she wakes up and taps my hand until I put it back. my boy likes my hand there as well and curls around my arm and "hugs" me with his tail.
I can't say I learned much but id like to throw in with my current cat treating cats like other cats would (rubbing them with your face etc) helps build a bond very quickly in the early stages
I do cat initiated face to face rubs, i meow, blurp and carry on convos with mine. If i want to call my pride,i use a cat call for mom and kittens to meet up. Slow blinks if they are scared or upset to calm them.
declawing is like cutting off human nails. trim their claws instead. like how humans trim nails. that's not too much of a work if you trully love your cats. saves you and the other cats from scratch without damaging their anatomy.
I clip claws and have multiple cat gyms with scratching stuff. I just taught them to use those thru treats. When they use the scratch posts, they get a piece of chicken or cat treat. Plus they have their own space that only gets disturbed to clean
Cats aren't subtle about their affection at all, in my opinion. Some humans are just arrogant and ignorant. My first cat saved my life from a dog attack when I was less than 5. This big Doberman got off his chain and went for me. Knocked me on my back, and bit my upper lip open bloody. I thought I was going to die, and then all of a sudden there's this yowling noise that I recognize. It's the Cat I've been bonded with since he was a kitten! He was his litter runt but grew to be a 20 lbs Tom, and in a flash of orange he's on top of this violent mongrel mutt sinking all of his claws in. He's polydactyl, so that's even more than 20! The dog goes from trying to maul me to whimpering, and howling as it runs the hell away! My cat SAVED MY LIFE! So, yeah, if you treat cats right they'll definitely let you know they love you. Without training my cat risked his life to save me. Without the promise of a treat. Cats love us more than dogs do.
Trust is what Cats give off and expect from their owners. The little bites is a sign to fyi the owner they would never hurt you of the mini bite. Licking you is how they take in your scent and then immediately lick your scent on them for other cats to know who their protector is.
My cat used to be OBSESSED with corn to the point to where If she got a corn cob she would drag it to the hallway and *growl* at anyone who went near. Not hiss, *growl.* don’t think she is as obsessed with corn anymore, but she used to lol.
Always adopt litter mates. Besides needing your 20 minutes minimum attention from their human daily they need another kitty of their same age and size with whom they can enjoy like play and play fighting to practice their cat skills with.
I've had cats that liked tummy rubs and cats that didn't like them under any circumstances. Even the cats that liked tummy rubs liked them when THEY wanted them. My current cat likes her tummy rubbed in the process of greeting. She also has to be petted until she falls over sideways at least twice before we can go further inside. She'll then show me her belly in a particular way if she wants it rubbed, much like a dog. She was an adult when I adopted her, so I wonder if she has been around dogs. I know she did have a problem getting along with two other cats in her previous home, but I don't know the details. She is the only cat I've ever had that will accompany me on long walks, which also seems like something she might have learned from a dog. I knew a dog that had to lick himself all over before going to sleep because he learned that from the cats he grew up with.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! It's incredible how much animals can learn from other species and understand it as 'common behaviour'. She sounds like a wonderful and very special cat! 😽
I’ve never been bitten by any cat I’ve owned… but omg have I seen them attack others and it’s hilarious! They warn you many times before doing it. So if you get bit… your bad
@@joanaguedes3806 they’re a lot like snakes… you can’t exactly see the warning in their eyes but, their body language shows you “it’s on mofo if you dont back up!”… 😂
My neighbor's cat had gotten some motor oil in his fur from napping underneath a car and he (the cat) was letting me bathe him the kitchen sink so the bath was refreshing for him and he liked it...and for a little while, was letting me continue. When he started to get impatient with me...he calmly and gently took my right index finger into his mouth, paused for 2-3 seconds as if to warn me and then that cat bit down so hard he punctured the tip of my finger. 😮 Man that hurt so bad. ... All good though I could never be angry with a feline. I love them all dearly. 😻
No wonder some of the cats in the video bit, some of the kids and adults in the video were just dam annoying, it annoyed me just watching them. Otherwise a good video
I agree about declawing, if they run away like mine did she would have not been able to defend her selfish when she was gone for for 48 days luckily she was able to defend herself and found herself home
A friend's cat took a total dislike to me - and only me. He'd walk into the room, rub up to everyone, hiss at me from a couple of metres away and walk out again. It was amusing if he'd rub up against me and THEN realise who he was rubbing against. (stop, "oh shit", and walk away). Their other cats never had any problem with me (2 of them run to greet me and demand attention - I'm the only visitor one of them does this with)
Your friend's cat: Hello everybody, how are you doing? Let me scent you a little bit and then I'll j- You, just being there: Hi. Your friend's cat: How dare you trick me like that.
Very informative video, and I haven't even finished it yet. I like to learn about my critters and why they do things or things I may be doing wrong. I have a 14 yr old calico and an 11 yr old grey, both are long haired. My people I call them! But the calico won't let me brush her any more and gets mats. What a mess! She watches the grey get brushed but only allows me to barely touch her with the brush. She used to get brushed daily and allow me to cut out occasional mats. Not this year. I keep trying tho. Have tried a softer brush, rather than a wire brush, but no go anymore. I have a comb like tool to remove mats, it has a razor between the tines but the razor never touches skin. It's just for removing mats or hair between the toes of my golden retriever( otherwise he gets clumps of snow sticking to his paws and has trouble walking in the snow! Picture him walking, or trying to with a snowball under each paw. That's what it looks like and looks very uncomfortable. The razor comb I described prevents that.) Yeah, we like all kinds of critters. But All are Loved Equally. :)
If you keep having trouble brushing your cat, here we have an article about combs for long haired cats! www.animalwised.com/brushes-for-long-haired-cats-438.html
My cat started a phase like that. I went through every kind of cat brush/grooming tooI I could find with no luck. Finally, in desperation, I picked up a large-tined comb I had laying around and she loved it! Now she comes and “asks” to be brushed every day. It’s my favorite time with her. 😊
Instead of declawing, there are alternative and humane ways to address unwanted scratching behaviors in cats, such as providing scratching posts, regular nail trimming, using soft nail caps, or behavior modification techniques.
I want to speak from personal experience on one thing that I think all cat owners need to understand. Cats experience complex emotions, in the same way that you do....They're easily on par with most humans in terms of intellect, and they display complex social behavior, and the ability to express and understand a wide variety of gestures... They feel anger, jealousy, fear, confusion, anxiety, and sadness, loss, depression, and when it comes to memory, few other creatures can compare to a cat's ability to remember things over their entire lifetime. This is why it's so important to guard against being negligent with their emotions.... Most people customarily will "home" new kittens as soon as they are able to eat solid food... This is often due to the necessities of keeping with the rules of the place where they reside. However, occasionally people will separate a new litter of kittens from their mother before they've finished weaning.i must warn against this practice! This is no different than taking a newborn from its mothers breast, and will have the same negative impact on a cat that it will on a human. Doing this can cause a cat to suffer a lifetime of debilitating anxiety and depression.... If you can, it's recommended to keep kittens with their mother either until their mother begins to show a reduced interest teaching them, or 3 months after they're born.that way, they're more emotionally prepared for the experience. Whatever you do, DO NOT EVER SEPERATE A KITTEN WHILE SHE OR HE IS ACTIVELY NURSING, OR IS STILL SLEEPING NEXT TO THE MOTHERS BELLY AFTER NURSING... GIVE THEM A CHANCE TO "SAY GOODBYE..." The unnecessary pain and suffering you will save them cannot be overstated. Thank you!
Our dog a golden retriever is a inside and outside dog. He is never on chain and he is free to go as per his wish having everything always open to be wherever he like. He also have his doghouse with large wooden platform where he is spending most of his lazy time sleeping or just being there. The doghouse roof is extended covering big part of the platform making him enough shadow and protecting him from direct rain and snow. When was cold raining or snowing he often sleep inside it on a mat or in a house in living room on other mat near the fireplace. He had a kind of routine predictable behaving but at once it changed. I noticed it on a first snowy day of a last winter. He was fan of snow but last thing he would do is sleeping on his platform and letting wind snow cover him and this was exactly what he was doing. I call him to come to house but he just rise the head and remain there. He even remained there over the night what he never did before. He has his dog door and could enter house any time as he always did - he entered house and get his food and water but as he finished he return to his doghouse just look trough his house door inside and lied in front. I call him to get in the house but he remain there. I decided to check his doghouse to see is his mat wet or something other making him not to enter inside and inside was a cat i have never seen in vicinity with three just born kittens. My dog gave her his house his mat and guarded her and her babies - outside was freezing prognosis for the night was even worst and I could not leave the cat and kittens outside and i took them in the house. My dog follow me in step. cat and kittens got a basket with a pillow near the fireplace and cat got cat nursing food as recommended by vet. Dog was always close with a worrying facial expression as checking everything is OK. As kittens grow he was babysitting them guarding them and taking care of them. on their first tree climbing he was out of himself worrying about their safety more then their mother. He never stop taking care of them not even now when they are a year old. Mother cat and her babies are our cats now and remain on our property. They are cats having their own dog. He is so happy being their own personal bodyguard and never stop guarding them and taking care about them.
Never heard of a dog being inside or outside. Of course they need fresh air and area to play. But dogs shouldn’t just be kept inside. An apartment is not a good place for any dog they need to be outside and inside if weather is bad
Finally got proof that smoking around cats is BAAAAD! I always figure it but never had concrete proof. Thank you! Also you have to consider the genetics of the cat that may not be social. I don't think you mentioned that but a lot of cats are put down do to not have a positive personality.
I totally agree and I still have scars from where my cat would just attack me. I guess some sort of relief from aggressive behavior. I would have never had her declawed though!! 😢
I 💘 Love 🐱 Cats they're very unpredictable my sister and I adopted a stray cat he is a blue cat he was a kitten smokey is a easy going cat and very therapeutic for us he is older now so he likes to cuddle and go to sleep on my slippers cats are excellent companions
I love all creatures especially cats. But they should never not have the right to scratch things! Those poor sweeties I love them so much and they're very amazing, and good at tricks!

Declawing should be illegal. It is also unethical. You’ve totally lost my respect!!! Declawing is amputation of the digits. It’s not just taking their claws out. Please don’t ever do this to your cat. It’s very traumatic to have this procedure done. When you declaw a cat and that cat has shown behavior that you don’t like it will start biting more. I am so utterly disgusted that you suggested cats get declawed. It’s unnecessary and cruel. You are cutting off the first joints of the paws it’s a very sick thing to do. Many states have made this illegal and many vets will not do this anymore. Thank god
I heard of something called project Paw's to educate the public on how Cruel declawing is! Many Vets will inform you before they do it if they will do it what is involved in the procedure.
Cats does not like clothes most of the time as well as spraying water or bodies of water in most cases is very stressful to them. Just let them be. That makes them happy 😁 Pd cats are not the living being that likes being made to do something!
Our cat would sleep under sofa, same spot, every afternoon like 3 to 6 pm. It's a "Do Not Disturb" moment for hin. He would sleep on his side all stretched out like superman. Eyes shut close.
Bells on their collar are fine, it helps to know where the cat is, Vets recommend it. Laser play is amazing! My cat will sit in the hallway meowing until I take the laser out, it gives him great exercise, it’s a bonding time, and it too is a supported form of play by Veterinarians. Otherwise thanks for the information!
Laser play with cats that love it is good exercise, as you said, and doesn't have to be without rewards, I give mine a couple of treats after laser playtime.
I just got a new kitten. My 5 years old cat it is very territorial and she 100% of times responded aggressively (without violence) to other cats and dogs. Surprisingly when the kitten arrived my cat was hidden all time, she didn't show any aggressively. I kind of push my cat to make an old ritual we have (hold her on my bathrobe after shower ), she didn't want for first time something she is addicted... but then... she made aggressive sounds to me, for first time in her life. Not even on eye surgery did something like that. With my gf she is kind of OK, but seems my cat is very offended with me. I try to give her attention but she don't want it. Any advice? We are really connected (i walk her without laze and she follows me everywhere).
@@Rat2rrj thanks Raymond. We play with both separately at same time with visual contact, if kitten get close old cat get hidden. Eventually they smell each other until one of them start to buff and make sound while both of them retreat. It is getting better and better. I just don’t know if I should keep staying at 1 meter when they start smell each other or let them space. I am afraid the 6 weeks kitten get injured, he already has diarrhea issues under antibiotics (is a rejected kitten by mother)
We have an article on our website on how to calm aggressive cats, it might help you with your current problem, Alejandro! www.animalwised.com/how-to-calm-an-aggressive-cat-802.html
I have realised something about cats that no one else seemingly has. Cats (although it’s mainly big cats) sit half down front legs straight flat out to pick up vibrations of potential prey walking by and position them. I realised this whilst watching a wildlife documentary shot in infrared when the narrator pointed out a white hot patch on an antelopes rear which they said was a muscle injury and to their astonishment the lions singled out and grabbed that antelope so the narrator said the lions must have heard it limping but I think they felt it limping through their legs. If this is true then the cats will know when a captured animal has died through the absence of heartbeats. It’s scientifically recognised that elephants communicate over distances by infrasound through their legs.
Im a good cat mom ♡ I really was not even a fan of cats. We moved from New Hampshire to Florida. And when I looked to find a house for myself and my 3 children the house I found said that I could have cats and dogs, upon signing the lease they said no however the lease didn't. I knew I would be able to hide a cat. Much more easily than a dog considering it would be inside all the time. So we adopted a cat from someone who developed allergies. We had him 7 years and only him. Then my daughter was with her friend They were exploring an abandoned building and they found a litter of kittens that were Inside the wall of the house. They removed the kittens and my daughter literally snuck one in the house. I said absolutely not at first but then I gave in. I'm so glad I did. That house was demolished a few days later and the kittens would have been inside the wall. The mother had gotten ran over by a car. So we had the newest member and we moved after being in the same house 9 years. I got the new cat fixed Literally the same day we moved. I was so relieved and Two weeks later, my daughter finds a litter of kittens under the shed to the new house we moved into The mother had abandoned them there were four kittens. I said absolutely not. I can't do it. We just barely got Tiva fixed. I ended up once again giving in I fell in love with them. So now we have two cats four kittens. I will not take anymore, but I'm glad I've been able to give them an excellent life and will continue to do so. I'm obsessed with all of them. Enzo. Tiva. Playa. Baby Bear. Meow and Tiggy ♡ I do feel bad about the laser pointer though my cat's I thought absolutely loved it.
My MainCoon Manx female would come in my room at night and lick my eyelids, eyebrows and crows feet. It was ruff at first, but I got use to it. To this day The area around my eyes don’t fit my age. She also would smell me come in the house, after sweating outside and lick the sweat off anywhere on my body. I miss Snuggles.
I truly believe that removing a cats claws is removing its identity. People shouldn't put clothes on cats, and cats are NOT the animal to tease. Theyre not that type of animal.
Cats are very smart. I have three atm. (possibly about to have four cuz a wild tuxedo cat keeps coming to my house for food) they are two kaho manees and one orange tabby. They actually know several tricks, use the toilet, go for walks on leashes, and atm are beginning to learn "word buttons" so they can tell me things to communicate better. they have five words they use and are learning two more right now they are"-toys, treat, i love you.(wich is used when they want love petting and attention), litter(when its dirty) "and the new ones now are "walkies and bedtime". so It's not too hard to train cats. If i can train mine anyone can ...im super lazy lol😂
My rescue stray Tabby is indoor/outdoor b/c he came from outdoors so I let him out. He used to come back at night and sleep next to me but now he goes out late and comes back in the day. I miss not having him around at night mostly b/c that's when I would like to snuggle.

You'll find a name. Mine has many names. Currently he is Potato. But his official name is Cuckoo. So.... It will come and go. ☺️
What did you expect them to be like?

I always feared my next cat won't fit my lifestyle like those two did. Ps, you say they hate onion, but everytime i dropped an onion, they kept trying to eat it. . . they were weird ones.
Such wonderful companions! There's no need to compare pets because they will always find a way to bring happiness into our lives but... It is kinda surprising that they were trying to eat your onions 🤔
Kizzy would have played with the piece of onion...lol
onion + garlic contain an enzyme that cat bodies cannot break down which will eek into their bloodstream. it causes them pain & discomfort ~12hrs after they ingest it. it's not that they don't like it, they're allergic. if it was cooked with other food, they may still want to eat it, you can't let them
I lost my darling boy of 14 years to kidney failure b4 he died at vets I asked him to follow the light an return to our home as a spirit cat an he's here.
Where do I get help I'm from rotorua nz email jakporteous@gmail.com by for now
Have an awesome day
THANK YOU for reminding folk that laser pens are cruel and frustrating to our feline friends
Declawing is equal to cutting off a human finger to the first joint. Not just the fingernail.
Great video 👍🏻
Respect their personalities and they will be in the middle of you!...had 4 at once and they were great 👍👍
Absolutely!
I have only had Kizzy 6 months. But she is permanently in my heart now
@@hollyprincipato3287 once you come to grips your actually kizzys' pet, life will always be great😼
Declawing is barbaric 🥺 💔
It can lead to a prison sentence where I live (UK)
Like cutting off the foreskin of a new born? And I agree I’d never do that to my cat.
So is the cat clawing your ass
@@TheGhostOperative If a person can't accept everything that makes up a feline (like claws), get a dog instead.
Nothing melted my heart more than my beloved Hendrix bringing me gifts of dead mice rabbits squirrels Chipmunks.
That is the biggest form of love, for your kitty to bring you gifts . 😸 saying "Look what I got!"
u forgot birds
@@waclawjarzabek6311 yes I did, got a couple dropped at my feet. Lol
Trust is what Cats give off and expect from their owners. The little bites is a sign to fyi the owner they would never hurt you of the mini bite. Licking you is how they take in your scent and then immediately lick your scent on them for other cats to know who their protector is.
Love your videos
My cat used to be OBSESSED with corn to the point to where If she got a corn cob she would drag it to the hallway and *growl* at anyone who went near. Not hiss, *growl.* don’t think she is as obsessed with corn anymore, but she used to lol.
One time at band camp I figured out my cat likes baths not the shower
No to declawing. #1 thing NEVER do to a cat. Take them to your local vet to get their nails trimmed if anything. No declawing!!
Always adopt litter mates. Besides needing your 20 minutes minimum attention from their human daily they need another kitty of their same age and size with whom they can enjoy like play and play fighting to practice their cat skills with.
Great advice!
Yeah, tell that to my 3 cats that are litter mates and have been fighting almost daily for 10 years.
Great video thanks 👍🏻
One of my cats likes to go for long walks with me (she waits by the door if she sees me putting my coat on) but she has never lived with dogs.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! It's incredible how much animals can learn from other species and understand it as 'common behaviour'. She sounds like a wonderful and very special cat! 😽
Imagine having your finger tips cut off,, that's what a cat feels
And yes! Please let kitties be with mom long as possible :)
Smashingly cute videos
I’ve never been bitten by any cat I’ve owned… but omg have I seen them attack others and it’s hilarious! They warn you many times before doing it. So if you get bit… your bad
100% true!! My boyfriends cat never bit me, but he often bites his best friend because he doesnt see the warnings 😂
@@joanaguedes3806 they’re a lot like snakes… you can’t exactly see the warning in their eyes but, their body language shows you “it’s on mofo if you dont back up!”… 😂
Exactly! Cats will probably warn you many times before biting. If you got yourself there... good luck surviving their fury!
My neighbor's cat had gotten some motor oil in his fur from napping underneath a car and he (the cat) was letting me bathe him the kitchen sink
so the bath was refreshing for him and he liked it...and for a little while, was letting me continue.
Their other cats never had any problem with me (2 of them run to greet me and demand attention - I'm the only visitor one of them does this with)
😂
That's clear, hater one has a crush in the one that is showing you affection and thinks you are mate-stealing biatch 😂😂
@@ALAbySPALA That’s true. My brother’s cat was not a problem until he got married and the cat (a female) started pissing all over the house lol.

This is a terrific video. Thank you!
39:13 The best suggestions you offered IMO : Respect their space and Strive to understand their language. (thank you for this with us)
I have 3 cats, therefore 3 liter boxes.
I clean them at least 3 times a day.
Never “declaw then!

Thanks for your comment, Stephanie!
These videos just make you want all the kitties
Yep! That's our goal 😉
I love cats
Thank you!
Just love these cute #shorts
Cats can’t stand being laughed at, laugh at a cat and they become really annoyed.
Yeah, belly up also means incoming major cat fart...
Declaw? That’s so monstrous! ! Never declaw your cat for there own wellbeing!
Ty! I adopted a cat yesterday and hes so cute!

Thank god
Definitely!!!!!!!! Get a different animal!!!!! You creepy ass ****
Agreed!! Declawing is barbaric and utterly inumane!
I heard of something called project Paw's to educate the public on how Cruel declawing is! Many Vets will inform you before they do it if they will do it what is involved in the procedure.
common sense used to be common. Declaw is a no go
That crazy they need they claws to survive especially from predators this is so sad
Declawing should be illegal they need their claws to survive and be happy
Cute and adorable 🥰😘🥰😘
yes ABSOLUTELY i agree beyond all, percentages.
One hating cats is a big red flag. They got their own personality and are not as dependent as dogs
Awesome facts about cats.
Cats have fur
Cats does not like clothes most of the time as well as spraying water or bodies of water in most cases is very stressful to them. Just let them be. That makes them happy 😁
Pd cats are not the living being that likes being made to do something!
cats are like humans, but just different sizes, and claws,

Bells on their collar are fine, it helps to know where the cat is, Vets recommend it. Laser play is amazing! My cat will sit in the hallway meowing until I take the laser out, it gives him great exercise, it’s a bonding time, and it too is a supported form of play by Veterinarians.

Try to feed both cats within smelling distance, and play with both of them if possible, so each cat can associate the other with good things
@@Rat2rrj thanks Raymond. We play with both separately at same time with visual contact, if kitten get close old cat get hidden. Eventually they smell each other until one of them start to buff and make sound while both of them retreat. It is getting better and better. i have a cat name matilda and a black cat
To declaw a cat causes them pain for the rest of their lives. Because they are walking on the knuckle joints once they have been declawed.
Never ever ever declaw!!!
I agree with you on that. Declawing is so barbaric.
My Stout is a really good kitty.
He's very friendly. He even kinda likes dogs.
When I say, " Like " I mean he doesn't see them as a threat.

My cat eats cucumber raw and potatoes chopped up and raw
I miss not having him around at night mostly b/c that's when I would like to snuggle.
that poor cat at 15:11. He just looks BEYOND annoyed and in his head he is probably plotting on his human.
Nice video, but the music? Reminds me of 1977 when disco actually died!
If my cat hates me i don't want to know, I am a cat servant, i feed them, change their litter, and in general caterer to all their needs.
Simps should grow up.
