Platonic soulmates ok yeah right because I read an article where Chloe director said she decided to put in a romance for them because they were flirting onset and sparks were flying so I know they are both with other people in reallife but that just made me go hmmmmm, lol. That def. explains why their chemistry was A1 in the movie.
Chloé never said they were flirting on set, she said that they started to “riff off” each other (goof off) almost immediately, and in another article someone who worked on the movie said that Lauren took Barry under wing because it was his first movie that was on such a scale. Lots of people just have great chemistry, doesn’t alway mean anything romantic in actuality (:

I believe everyone on set learned a little ASL, and Lauren has an interpreter with her usually. Those who use ASL to communicate that don't have an interpreter with them will sometimes use their phone or notepad to communicate with someone who doesn't understand ASL. Every person has their own preferences and ways of communicating.
