I will never forget the last Soundgarden show I went to. One week before Chris died! And The Pretty Reckless opened for them! I took a lot of photo's that night in Indy! Best show ever! I haven't used that camera since. It sits on my shelf collecting dust.

I"m a 60yr old fan of solid hard rock and I'd pretty much given up on finding new music worth listening to until I heard The Pretty Reckless (I've yet to hear a bad song); incredible band with hard hitting rock well worth hearing on a daily basis. I look forward to seeing them perform in April...I'll be there!

I'm about to turn 51. Been a gigging musician for 30 years & you stated this perfectly. I used to feel like The Pretty Reckless was a guilty pleasure. But I've moved on from that. They're just a damn good band. Seeing them in a month or so with Shinedown. Never seen either live. So I'm beyond excited.

This band really is incredible, for so many reasons. Taylor is incredibly well connected to her vocals, and the degree to which that allows her to communicate emotion is incredible. The musicianship of the other band members is not lost on me, either. From the accidentals on the guitars to the precision and weight of the drums, the band is just super tight. Also the contrast between Taylor's youth and beauty and her bandmates'....anti-that is pretty funny.

I can't even express how bad I need them to tour. This album is absolutely amazing from front to back. While they had some great songs on the previous albums. This one, is the best rock I have heard come out of 2021. It all blends together so good. I'm dying to hear this live.

Also...Ben technically came up with the riffage on this song. Taylor realised it sounded like Soundgarden and took a chance to ask if they'd help with the recording and final sound. Ben is an amazing guitarist in his own right. In fact, if you listen to some of their unplugged stuff - that's when you really appreciate Ben's abilities. He's great, and he's the reason I enjoy their music so much.

I'd argue there are quite a few woman fronted hard rock and metal bands that are on that list. Many of them are Japanese bands. Band-Maid, Lovebites, and Aldious for a handful of examples. But The Pretty Reckless and Taylor are definitely on the list as well. The band just gets better and better with each release. I personally have difficulty determining which band is "best" since there are lots of really talented bands. TPR is easily in my top 10, though. And they're certainly one of the best North American hard rock bands.
TPR is great. Unleash the Archers is a better band fronted by a female in my opinion though.

Granted, I am cheering for this singer; why, because there's not female Rock singers whatsoever. Hence why I stated, she is the Band and I'm sure the whole group knows it. She is the missing piece the entire band needed. Some bands can get away with just instrumental music. While other bands requires a good singer to make the band a whole. Great example, TOOL. Same concept but none the less, the whole band of TOOL is important. To make it more simple to understand my statement, every band no matter what realm, needs a stand up. Someone in the band or, the whole band, draws the crowd. A good example, Slash/ Saul Hudson for Gun's and Roses. Axel is an amazing singer but it was Slash and his guitar style that drew the crowds in to their shows.

People that hear other bands sound when listening to music they haven't heard before should consider that they are only hearing the influence. This band has shown that it has enough originality to stand on their own imo.
Well Matt and Kim clearly had a massive influence on this. Nobody plays like Kim.
ok , where do I begin, I am 61 in 2023) . and I sort of had life happen so I missed out on some of these newer groups. and after a drunk night with my brother, found this group by accident. so let us get this out of the way, yes Taylor is very beautiful, and can really sing. and I would put her right up there with some of the other female rock legends. and the rest of the group , well they deserve equal credit. I do keep playing this song over and over. but I have ventured to some of their other songs and have to say they are really good. when someone is an actress , on the WB, Gilmore Girls , you would expect some sort of bubble gum music. well I grew up with the '60s , '70s, 80s rock groups. this group takes a back seat to none of them. they are very talented. I hope they keep going for many years to come.

3:52 - Getting some Layne Staley vibes with those layered harmonies in the vocals. As someone else pointed out this has a grunge 90ish feel to it which is obviously augmented by the musicians she's playing with here. Pretty cool!

I am a huge Taylor Pretty Reckless fan this song was so cool having Kim and Matt on a grunge sounding song.i would of loved to have a few more tracks with this lineup to see what else they would of come up with.this tune shows how talented Taylor is as a singer she sounds great with most of Soundgarden!
As a Soundgarden superfan I'd accept her as the new lead vocal for the band!

This is an awesome song, and has all the elements of Rock N Roll. A great guitarist, drummer, and base guitarist with someone who can sing a tune, and brings beauty to the stage. All stars checked which makes this the perfect rock band. Stay safe, and keep RnR as loud as you can!

I think I was born in the wrong era. Grew up with 80's music. Wish I could have experienced more powerhouse female lead bands like TPR, Evanescence, Halestorm, In This Moment and etc as a teenager.
