I like how he says nigga.
I was literally ducking every time he said the N word...
I’ll mind of Hopsin 5 or 7 would be really dope to see you react to man. Great video as always
He was told this story when he was locked up. I'm sure it happened but not in his life but yeah his cellmate told him this
GREATEST RAP SONG OF ALL TIME. THIS IS BEYOND MUSIC
Immortal Technique - Open Your Eyes. Lowkey - Terrorist. Those are two serious hip hop songs from the underground.
One of the most emotional songs ever made
This song is heavy man
Raw the Rugged Man Uncommon Valor check that out honestly the best verse ever in a great story behind it all factual
Cry! Just kidding I heard this for the first time over 10 years ago legendary no other song more worthy of reactions. Plus great interpretation of it.
Don't be mad at him for saying nigga. He's reading
Was it really his mother?
Scarlxrd
Hi Yousef, I would like to put in a request for
ATMOSPHERE - God Loves Ugly
Thank you :)
Immortal said that the song is a metaphor of how black and Latinos degrade the women in their society instead of treating them like the wonderful women they are.
Jonathan Gonzalez interesting!
Anyone else notice he was saying nigga?😂😂
If anyone didn’t notice they probably don’t speak English
Dance with the devil always make me tear up.. Immortal Technique is probably the most underrated rapper of all time.

Badre L It's because Immortal Technique raps about the truth and is real. Commercial rap is gimmicky and garbage because the labels want hip hop to die....He is underrated because he won't play the game with labels and become PC
Nope. Aesop rock
Y'all are the best for not getting all offended for him saying the n word
A couple comments here and there but the most part intelligent people understand context.
Regan Alley why should they we all we’re considered equal years ago so if blacks can say nigger so can i
@@cowboy4488 deadass
Cowboy 44 woahhh homie , its Nigga, we ont hard "R" that shit nomo😂😂😂
Cowboy 44 craccer
Dude, you're awesome. Ty for these
this track is such a masterpiece,
N.Y. state of mind by nas or stan by eminem maybe are good songs to react to
Saitama TheKing either NY state of mind or Life’s a bitch would be awesome
Saitama TheKing He obviusly knows stan.
These reactions are great, if I may make a request, you should definitely listen to "Sing About Me, Im Dying of Thirst" or the song "U" (half of the song is in a music video called "God is Gangsta") both of which were by Kendrick Lamar. Thanks and you're doing some great videos. These are real reactions, analyzation and understanding, its great!
First time visitor. Nice video. One question though.....have you got enough doors?!
Mark Nippress hahaha, doors on doors on doors.
Fake doors
Biggie smalls - Suicidal thoughts
Prince Tulip Da Suicide nigga what
Fuck biggie Tupac a million times better
CG Entertainment that nigga dead bruh
@@sassin6200 both of them are but 2pac is way better
also, Ive seen immortal technique 2 years ago. best experience in my life, he said the story was made up. and he also threw some stuff in the crowd. I managed to catch a towel. I know its not much lol, but I use it everytime I trim my beard. hes been my favorite rapper since 11
x 47elements what he means by 'listen cause the story is true'is that it happens around American kids trying to be hard
x 47elements of course he’ll say it’s a made up story
Juan Ramirez it is a made up story. He’s trying to prove a point.
I met him when he played cardiff he said it was a urban legend in the area of new york he grew up in.
Dude said it’s true by himself tho
It is, in my opinion, the greatest story telling rap song of all time.
I couldn’t agree more
It's definitely among them.
I agree, it's up there. But in my opinion it's a little overdone and unrealistic which when thought about can kinda make the point doubtful. Still, leaving that thought alone it's still a very moving dark piece that is told fucking masterfully.
You should listen to Big L - The Heist, and Big L - Casualties of A Dice Game - those are two of my other favorite story telling rap songs
SlickRick - Children's Story is the best storytelling song ever. Even more impressive is it was from 1989
Nas - I Gave You Power
yes
Do it please
YES
Yes!!!
Good suggestion
These types of reactions are best. Seeing fans of other genres listening to great hip hop for the first time is so much fucking better than seeing hardcore followers react to something they’re already familiar with.
Russell Westbrook haha, it's pretty fun listening to something outside my bubble with an open mind.
You r so open minded...loved your reactions
Please don't stop doing these dude. To see someone from another genre treat hip-hop with such respect and open mindedness is so great to see. Great work man!
zFlobzy open heart open mind
please react to kendrick lamar - the blacker the berry
Rue yes
Very good video, thank you! Hope to see loads of reactions in the future, seeing your progress through the genre is (and will be) amazing.
Good to see he picked the right video ;)
julio garcia haha, fair play
Ivan So glad he went with real rap. He needs to check out R.A. The Rugged Man's Still Get Through The Day.
This list is golden :D
I Gave You Power by Nas
Ryan Evanson PLEASE
HELL YEAHH
not before ny state of mind
This isn't a true story, immortal technique did an interview where he stated that it was sick people thought it was real,it became an urban legend. The meaning he gave was about how women are treated in the "hood" (particularly black and Latino community, but it can be applied everywhere).Basically doing crime is devaluing our family cause that's who it really effects.
Johan Liebert Yh but tbh would he admit to killing the mother
No because he would get a prison sentence
He says its real😂
I heard he said he was not involved but it was a true story.
It is a fake news
@@mr.biggums5226 no he didn't there's interviews of him saying it's sick ppl believed it
Please react to Kendrick Lamar - Sing about me / I'm dying of thirst :)
kristoffmeister I agree
Yes
I second that
yes please
Yes!
I´m cringing every time you pause before an impactful line
Literally before EVERY line
He did not actually do it too, I am not sure if the story is fake or he is just telling it and impersonating it as of he was there too.
At a show he explained the main point of the song was to make people understand that shit like this happens everyday to women.
Love and Respect man, keep making this reactionss

Sometimes, people can "see" without being there. Dreams, possessions etc. Doesn't matter if you believe or not, I've met such people and they were pretty detailed in the stories not to 'be there".
@@lyndellwilliams2600 its the story of his cell mate. He actually did this to make people reflect about doing evil.
You said the n word bro 😂
You literally paused for reading the lyrics before each MAJOR plot twist in the song. At least let the punchline end.
My good sir 😂 u r truly amazing and I really think u deserve more subscribers (cough cough just subscribed and showed u to my friend 😂) ik u have already reacted to Joey Bada$$ but that was just one of his good songs. U should REALLY react to Land of the Free it’s full of metaphors, idioms, and real poetry that i think you’d really like 👍🏾💯
Chill Suville Agreed
you are the cutest sweetest calm thing ever. you remind me of my history teacher mr dillion hahaha super cute hahah lol
Why are there so many doors behind you? Whhhhyy?
David Kilburn Hahahaha, man I don't know. That's just how my apartment is.
!!!OMG!!! THEY COULD BE DOORS TO ALTERNATE REALITIES. Yousef. Are you a god?
Willock Flame yes, I am, the god of stupidity.
6:55 "this is ESCALATING"
You have no clue, my child
After you have listened to a song you could use Genius.com to understand some lyrics. It's hard to understand everything the first time.
kristoffmeister want to keep it raw, fresh and real.
Yousef AH genius will help explains any metaphors and double entendres you may have missed though. Or if you don’t understand some of the slang it will explain it.
Ryan Evanson why?.
dude Ive been listening to aesop rock for 10 years, still dont know everything he means. everytime I go back to some of hes songs I learn something new. why would you want to be fed the information. music is about the process. with that being said, listen to daylight by aesop rock if you havent already. dude has more words in hes vocab than shakespear
I like this guy 😁
This is the metal of hiphop, i have the song on my phone but i cant listen to it... Its just too brutal...
Pls do Nas- Ny state if mind next
React to Kendrick Lamar "Alright"
It has a great video and is a more positive and uplifting song.
Jared Kendrick Lamar is pretty popular. I'm getting so many request for his stuff.
Yesssss please
Yousef AH yeah, he's the face of Hip-Hop currently, he's probably the only artist who's first four albums are all considered classic. Humble doesn't do him justice, it was his single, and he always mixes some ignorance with jewels sprinkled in between. The meat and bones of his music is very intelligent.
Well GKMC and TPAB are classics, I wouldn't say Section 80 is but some do argue it is and DAMN. is also debatable classic. Kanye's first four albums are often considered classics too though (just wanted to point it out).
Kendrick is one of the few rappers to have a flawless 4 rap album run. Only other that come close are OutKast, The Roots, A Tribe Called Quest, and Kanye.
Keep up the great video's, i really like that you read the lyrics. Maybe you can react to songs from J-cole, Joyner Lucas, Logic or Nas.
Stan Jak agreed
A lot of Joyner Lucas, J-Cole and Logic's lyrics usually aren't that deep... There's nothing that they that's more than surface level thinking
Jose baldon ross capichiano by joyner is a good story rap and im sorry tells a story bout suicide
Jose baldon and happy birthday is deep
J cole lucas and logic are laughable emcees. Hope he don't react to them.
holy shit
what a track
listen to ross capichioni by joyner lucas, its a story song about a kid who was shot by his friend as initiation
Juan De fuck that corny song
+Goose McCringleberry explain to me why its corny and then ill take you seriously, i want to find out if your opinion is based on ignorance, your just an idiot or your a troll.
Juan De it’s what Joyner does, he does it for commercial success which I don’t blame him for ,but songs like I’m
Not racist, I’m sorry, happy bday they’re all forshock value and I don’t think he’s really sincere about these things for the most part, that’s why I always found him corny
Goose McCringleberry i think that's very possible, but i just don't see a reason to assume either way. And even if they were, you don't need an artist to connect with lyrics for you to
You just spoiled the song for him
WHO LET THIS MAN JUST LISTEN TO IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE WITH NO WARNING.
Don't stop please you're awesome 😄
vinnie paz. aristotles dilemma, youll like hes voice no doubt
x 47elements vinnie pazz - end of days
x 47elements army of pharoahs
x 47elements YousefAH vinnie is awesome for sure he gives alot of props to old school metal in his songs and even has a song with ill bill called heavy metal kings. I never listened to much rap until my friend got me into jmt/vinnie paz my gateway song was saviorself
Honestly man when you pause it and read the lyrics i find it annoying af at first it was funny just because i got to see you say nigga but then it just gets so frustrating that you pause that shit every 10 sec and then you fuck up the song flow and don't get to grasp it and get the best feel like if you actually listened to it
React To, GangStarr - Above The Clouds. It's A Great Song.
Lost Reality word. Also Our Streets ft. ASAP Ferg that dropped recently.
Prhyme 2 hopefully rather soon
Kendrick Lamar - Sing about me / I'm dying of thirst :
Speakerboxxx _ absolutely brilliant song but I feel like you have to know Kendrick Lamar and the whole story about the song and understand it very well to really appreciate it. I know i didn't when I listened to it as a newcomer to rap
good point BUT i'd just say : you have to listen the whole album to apreciate the song.
React to Wu tang clan triumph
Kennedy1992 Velazquez mad song and vid
Fleece Johnson what in the fuck sort of name is fleece lol 😁
Kennedy1992 Velazquez that shits gonna go right over his head. Request songs like this that are easy to understand.
good pimp m.A.A.d butterfly he should react to jamal- keep it real or smif N wessun bucktown
Kennedy1992 Velazquez i was thinking a Big L or eminem...Big L for his punchlines and eminem because he's not very lyrical.
joyner lucas - ross capicchioni
Eminem - Kim
Eminem - just the two of us
Royce da 5'9 - part of me
Mr. Probz - Hate you
Jean Grae - Taco Day
Jedi mind trick - uncommon valor
Tyler the creator - Bastard
These are the most disturbing videos and songs i can think of.
Feel free to add to it
Seeing your reaction was dope. Always respected the story telling ability of immortal technique. One question... why are there so many f@cking doors behind you!!! Lol react to "r.a. the rugged man"," still get through the day" and "aesop rock" ,"coffee"
Zac Halaj hahaha 🤣 Idk the apartment is just like that...
this is funny to me I was a former metalhead as a youngster who was very closed mind about music until I found Immortal Technique and realized that are good music besides metal!
I am a good musichead now!
Please don’t ever stop making videos. I love them
Shoking, and powerfull . Rap that discuss social in a inner-city problems,
Please do your audience a favor, and check out Uncommon Valor by Jedi Mind Tricks ft RA The Rugged Man. The whole second verse (Rugged Man's verse) is from the point of view of his father during the Vietnam war (the whole song is about the war) and is an entirely true story, it's widely considered to be one of the greatest hip hop verses of ALL TIME! I'm also a HUGE metalhead, metal is mostly what I listen to (everything from my favorite band Opeth, to symphonic metal like Nightwish) but there is some hip hop out there that is just incredible!
I'll check them out. Thanks for watching.
Awesome, no problem, thanks for replying!
"And then they al proceeded to rape her violently..."
Him: This is fucked up!
Me, knowing what's coming: Oh boiiiiiiii!
Love the video. Is it possible you could react to Grief by Earl Sweatshirt? Earl is one of the best lyricist of the new school and even Kendrick Lamar said that he’s a top five rapper. This would be amazing and the song is very dark and atmospheric.
This song is so sad and makes me feel like crying 😢
This is one of my favorite songs to show people and watch there reactions ive seen people cry just from this song its so deap its amazing af
julian santos this songs content is too graphic for me to even listen to. Its insa e because its a song but he made it so well!
julian santos deap af
I've heard this song a few times and it still makes my eyes water, shot is deep
Glad you listened to this. It really shows how emotional and deep rap can get. You had a great interpretation for it too. I suggested Lost Ones by J. Cole but that one is very heavy topic as well. You want something a little lighter there's always Daydream by Lupe Fiasco
Haha u have a strange, funny humor when under deep emotions.
U should react to chum by Earl sweatshirt
React to K.A.A.N - KAANCEPTS
TurnipKingg omg yes he's so good
That song was intense
Hellboy Lil Peep
Mate, I like how you break down the lyrics, but it's a little too frequent for my liking. But you seem to have a lot of people who like your videos so it's all about opinions I guess! Thanks for the vid
I really have a high amount of respect for you
This story its of his cell mate that was doing life while he was doing minor ofense
React to HIVE - Earl sweatshirt
React to Geto Boys - Mind is playing tricks on me
Your voice is relaxing ngl lol
i give you props for having the balls to say nigga, its 2k18 nigga is just a word. Im not white, Im not mexican, Im black
Jacob Roberson agreed. Lmao people who get triggered over a word are as stupid as feminists.
Other Immortal Technique songs worth checking out:
Internally Bleeding
Caught in a Hustle
Nightmare Bin Laden
4th Branch
Leaving the past
You never know - good one as well
Just a heads up, pausing to read the lyrics kills the buildup and your reaction (at least in this case), if you ever do something like this again, i recommend reading along the lyrics as the song is playing...
since you read the lyrics you should listen to aesop rock
@14:38 he reacted like i couldn't imagine in a million dreams. lol im dying at that alone. :0 awww.
You've got to check out R.A. The Rugged Man's Still Get Through The Day!!!!!
Wu tang clan -triumph great real rap song
this ain't a real story. It's real from other point of view tho. This happens every time in hood , no one is safe. Him saying that he was there is just for us - listeners to believe. If he really did that , he would already be in jail , he said it in his own interview
And yeah, thats a reference to Puff Daddy; there was a shooting (actually, 2x I think) in 1999 where Puff allegedly shot someone. Rapper Shyne went on to serve a 9 year sentence for that incident.
If our like songs with social commentary I would highly suggest Mathematics by Mos Def
I watched this when i was younger but watching this guy reaction seemed like it was my first time watching it again, Every bar every sentence immortal spoke was just straight bars
Loved your reaction so much. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I listened to this song in the car with my husband who was my bf at the time. The year was 2006, it was a summer night, we had the windows down and the air was warm. We were 16 and 17.... the more i listened the more i could picture it all in my head as if i was standing there.... witnessing it all. When he said the mom line i almost passed out bih 😭😭😭😭😭 i wasnt the same after that track lol suddenly the air changed and it got cold. Fucking hairs on the back of my head stood up... crazy experience. I cried myself asleep tho
I love your commentary and lyric breakdown. Keep up the good work.
i want to say something.. but i will dislike
Since you had to listen to such a depressing song try champion by Kanye West or touch the sky Kanye West ft Lupe Fiasco
This is real rap..its funny how even metal heads like the old school rap compared to this new bullshit that isn't even rap
Kendrick Lamar - sing about me (im dying of thirst)
vva nker oh shut the fuck up hipster.
Rlly nigga? This is how ure defending ur best rapper?
vva nker who's your favorite rapper then if you think Kendrick Lamar is bad
if you like "social commentary" musics, you should check for more about Immortal Technique, they're used to talk about society
blud didn't hesitate at all to say the n word
bro who cares
@@Sajid_A829I don't care (I'm not black btw)

Ummmmm. I don't think you have clout to say that n word. But now it's on video forever
