Worse than that is having any video showing a tall is terrible all the work he went through to describe it amazing very detailed story and everyone of us had a different picture vividly painted in our heads listening to us every time and it sticks with us for years afterwards when you think about it... This cartoon animation just degrade and devalues the whole story and what I used to see

@@jacobcobb731 I listened to full version. They do cut a bit of the story out. But anyway, I was wrong. The full version is better and having the hook breaks it up a bit. It's actually a more pleasant listen than the abridged version.

This was his way of warning the youth not to fuck with the devil. I remember listening to this as a youngster, and he changed something inside me, with his music. The Revolutionary vol. 2 is a classic album too and a must listen for hiphop heads

The 4th branch by immortal tech is the song that single handedly got me into hip hop.
"Positive Balance" was the one that got me into the the underground scene in the 2000s. I'd never heard anything like it. I saw him when Revolutionary Vol.2 was about to be released with Brother Ali. That album is a masterpiece.
If he thought this was sad/messed up he still has "You never know" he could listen to.

The fact that this version of the song exists really takes so much away from the depth of the story that the original version tells. You absolutely must listen to the original. Immortal Technique is the true OG of lyricism and story telling, and this version doesn't do him, or the original, any justice.

I feel it's apparent this track is a metaphor, and it surprises me how many people hear this and actually believe Immortal Technique is confessing to these horrific crimes on record. I guess it just speaks to how powerful the song is. Still a hard listen after all these years, but if this was a true story I know I wouldn't be listening to Immortal Technique ever again, and I assume he'd be in prison for life.
This was an incredibly powerful piece that masterfully told a story of betrayal at every level possible and an awakening, set to the backdrop of the classic theme song to "Love Story." So much symbolism.
I am a huge fan of true crime. This feels like a raw and real look into the complex and conflicted heart of one who perpetrate these crimes.

He talked about this song in an interview. It was a "hood tale." Like a story that is told around the hood that could be true or false but it has been passed down. Like mine is by a woods called devil's den and the mobsters of the 60's-70's would dispose of bodies back there. We all heard the stories but no one really knows who is Timmy in the lore behind it.
Produced well, flow is great, delivery spot on. Subject matter though... One of those songs you don't regret hearing but don't want to really listen to again.

This isn't the full version though. Still has all the fkd up parts, but there are some perfectly good pieces missing, and I can't figure out why.

I understand getting upset that he didn't react to the full version, but it's not the video's fault. The video did nothing wrong. Already before I even watch, I know my boy is gonna feel this song. This song is such a powerful piece on what could go wrong especially in the hood. It is a hard piece to listen to as well. Art at its finest. The coldest track in history. Probably will not be heard again later on in years but who knows. He did say it was satire but the line where he admitted to rape, I hope was misspoken words or a part of the story like yeah he was there but its just a story
