For the story with the father giving the company to his brother: I've seen this stalling tactic way too often, it's something that sociopaths do. Deflect, ignore, project, until it is too late to fix, and then come crawling back all apologetic after nothing can be done. Honestly, the father is a POS. He acted like he cared but ONLY AFTER it was too late to fix. He basically punished his son due to his own failures as a father. So not only did he fail as a father with brother, he is now failing as a father with him to make up for it. Sounds like a total asshat and the company probably would have tanked years ago if not for brother.

Most likely the most part being that they likely noticed his creepy behavior towards their sister before and of course, going through her things in HER APARTMENT when he was suppose to be there with mom giving the dog his meds, and walk him! It's clear he's a creepy, especially with that "raise" crap that raises a red flag! Mom is the type that REALLY disgust me! The mother willing to not only put up with a likely pedo, but is likely which makes this worse and makes me want to barf "jealous of her own daughter having her man's attention when she should have tossed the POS out and protect her daughter because she's pathetic and desperate for a man she'll take ANYONE!" Still remember a story where a man only got with a woman to get access to her SON (he was a homosexuel pedo) amd the mother no joke GOT MAD AT HER SON FOR "TEMPTING" HIM. No anger at him being a gay man that only "Got" with her to get to her son and lied about the relationship! No she actually believed her "son was the gay one and plagued her man with his gayness by proxy!" That was fucking pathetic and I heard he cut her out of his life once he came of age! Best part was pedobear ran off once his "target was no longer available" (thankfully the ass didn't move in with them till son was 17! He came around when he was 15 however so the son had to deal with his creepiness) once son hit 18 he got out of that shit show and now mom wants him back since pedobear left her! It was something I hear a decade back and has remained with me along with other creep stories (like one my uncle a pastor heard elsewhere about a pedo who raped his woman's daughter, and the woman BEAT her own daughter and hated her over the POS, why because in her words "it's hard to get a man now a days!" can't believe that mentality! Like seriously the POS already made clear with the rape that he never saw you as anything but a gateway to a "younger female" and that's your thoughts! Me at the time told my uncle that I hope that woman died miserable! He understood my feelings, but promoted "forgiveness" being a pastor and all! Took it as him not wanting me to boil in hatred for such individuals but that will never change for someone like me with a strong sense of justice! I despise injustices like this!)

Makes me wonder about the possibility that she exaggerated her PPD issues (if she even really had them at all) in the first place so she could have an excuse to be neglectful of her kids and her marriage. Would kinda make sense (in a horrifying way) since she refused to take her meds and with the comments pointing out how long those specific meds r supposed to take to work and the suspicious aspect of her apparently being given a higher dosage right off the bat after not taking the lower dose ones at all. Maybe she also faked “getting better” until she decided to drop the act and abandon OP and the kids, pretty sure she was cheating with this guy the whole time. She very obviously has mental issues but def not related to PPD and or anxiety, she’s a sociopath or psychopath, not sure which one tho (maybe both). The fact that she was outright not feeding the kids and letting them soak in dirty diapers due to her “not being happy with their marriage” is a new level of extreme self-centeredness and she doesn’t deserve to have kids.

Paternity test story- OP NTA and Derek wasn't until the part - won't be a part of babies life even if it's his. Hopefully 1. it ISN'T his 2. Do a paternity test ANYWAY!!! She says she tested the other guy- he wasn't the dad so it must be Derek (🤣) . She has lied so much I wouldn't trust her, but t you NEED to get a DNA test . If you don't you know she is going to tell everyone you're the dad and you abandoned them. Say 5-7 years down the road and you will still be dealing with it. Its just better to find out. If she believed the baby was his she WOULD HAVE DONE THE DNA TEST. If she believed it was his the DNA would have proved her lie and she wouldn't have had to confess. Nicole is YTA

PPD story: I knew there was more to the story than just PPD. From they way he spoke about her KNOWING she had PPD and the fact that he went to Reddit of all places for advice, I would be willing to bet that he wasn’t very sympathetic. I think we are missing a lot of information. I would also not be surprised if she had PPD with the first child, never got help then had the second child and it just made her realize she didn’t want kids. PPD can ruin a person permanently. It’s not just about getting medicated and someone to help you with your kids. If your partner resents you, that is going to be the quickest way to end the relationship.

He was a master of idiotic "jokes" and "pranks" that were usually neither. Like the last one he ever pulled on me at age 16 when he thought it would be hilarious to tell me there is a bottle of Jager on top of the fridge and to have some... Even while being very intoxicated I knew soon after the tiny swig passed my lips to spit it out and immediately rinse my mouth out at the sink I was standing at and then going for the dish soap because it was a bottle filled with his hick cousins tobacco spit. He quickly realized it was dumb AF and to leave his bs like that to do to buddies and not me! Rr4

Story 2 People don't have a clue about how dangerous it is for any Indian girl to refuse to be married to a person their father has picked. I am in the UK and a few years ago the body of a teenage Indian girl was found near the road in an isolated area. It was generally believed that she was a victim of "honour killing". If this happens in the UK what chance does a young girl in Pakistan stand against a culture where women are regarded as lower than dogs and are regarded simply as chattels to do the bidding of her father/brother/ uncle or husband!

@@tinamauldin6444 when my MIL was in the hospital with my hubby he stayed in the nursery. A nurse brought "him" in to her for a feeding. My MIL looked at him and told the nurse that, that was not her baby! And where was her baby! All of a sudden this other nurse rolled in this other baby singing hello Mama baby is hungry after passing his hearing test. She looks up and was like what!! Why did you (the 1st nurse) bring in that other baby without checking the wristbands. So whenever we were in the hospital his job after I had the baby. Was to follow THAT baby so we brought home the baby that we came in with. Our 3rd baby had to go to the NICU for a few hours and he stayed with him the whole time. All 3 babies have stayed in the room with me. Whenever a nurse comes in to check on either one they check both our hospital tags. Even if they aren't planning on taking the baby out for any tests.

The wife everyone keeps saying is depressed, I so totally sympathize with her husband. I spent years in a relationship with a depressed man who refused to get help, refused to take steps to get better, and refused all my attempts to help him get outside, make friends, get a job, and get a therapist.
In a moment of frustration, I told him "you just want to be depressed." I cried and apologized when he yelled at me for saying that, but looking back, I realize I was right. He enjoyed being holed up in a dark room, immersed in video games for the entire day and smoking pot. Then, when I got home, he conplained about politics, my friends, my family, his family, and anything else you can imagine.
He was the perpetual victim and he seemed to like that. Not having something to complain about, not having drama was foreign to him.
He always found a problem to create when things were going well. After we broke up, I heard through the grapevine he was diagnosed borderline pd. I guess that explains his aversion to normalcy and the constant drama.
