It’s the holiday season and I’m concerned I’m developing gingivitis which is freaky since it’ll be a moment before most offices are open for even setting up an appointment. A few of my bottom teeth have noticeably inflamed gums and using a toothbrush draws a lot of blood despite getting a new soft brush and gum health oriented toothpaste. I have also began doing a saltwater rinse 2-3 times a day and have taken anti inflammatory meds like ibuprofen and have been flossing the area gently (oddly flossing causes no bleeding, only brushing does despite my bristles being soft and I’m using a gentle technique. I plan to go to a dentist regardless, but is this something that can be taken care of at home with enough proactive cleaning? I typically take good care of my teeth so this whole ordeal has me freaked out 😅
it will definitely help but there are certain medications that may be causing or contributing to this as well. You should have it evaluated if it continues for more than a week. Best- MN
Thank you,, 1 question: Why is it my money-hungry dentist never ever recommended any rinse or ideas that would help my dental health, all he did was cap and do implants that all failed
@@casuals.3.19 thank you, my gums have shown signs of gingivitis and i mistook it for periodontitis which i heard was uncurable. thank god my gums still have a chance
It does not affect blood pressure. Not only do I know this, but I asked all my physician friends to confirm with the same answer. No concern. Ask your doctor and make sure you make it clear you are not drinking it.
@@briansanchez6699 The sheet they gave me said half a cup of water and one teaspoon. I did change to two because I had dry socket and an infection and the salt was the only thing that stopped the pain. Even when I did get help and antibiotics, the infection still hasn't gone and it's hard to get another appointment 🙈 ugh.

Any answer you get?
Watch the video again, and listen carefully. Your question is answered in two ways inside the video.
Can I do it with hot water?
only warm water
I was told that it pulls minerals out of the teeth. Is this true

I think you also have to tell that this thing isn't for the patients of high blood pressure 😕
Actually, oral absorption of saline/salt rinse solutions has no correlation to elevated systemic blood pressure....

I’m gonna be honest I’m not a doctor but I think anyone would know that it’s not good to drink sodium water
