Dr Berg for the last three to four years my health has severely started deteriorating. More recently I’ve been experiencing significant low neck pain, upper back and shoulder pain.. joint pain, hip pain, internal aches and woke up every morning feeling like a dumpster fire. I saw your video about you getting an infected tooth removed and it cleared your pain and I thought i wonder if my dental care is contributing to this since NOTHING was helping. I didn’t have tooth pain. Got X-rays and sure enough I had an upper molar with a huge cyst in my sinus cavity. I had oral surgery Monday and literally my body feels 90% better! Your videos turn on light bulbs for us. I never would have correlate the two! Thank you

I have less than that, only a crooked tooth that hurts, and my shoulders are in pain, and can't restfully sleep. That's like the thorn in my eye since it's like a nail thats poking out from a wall. It even stops me from talking much because it bothers me.

I solved plaque formation by simply removing the sugar from my diet.
I had tartar for 25 years and I could not find any solution to stop its formation. When I removed all suger from my diet, the tartar just disappeared.
Remove sugar means avoid the food which contains artificial sugar. The fruits are fine.
Thank you for your videos, mr. Berg ! All contains usefull informations !

Has anyone here tried using Xylitol toothpaste? I made some with xylitol powder, coconut oil, baking Soda and cinnamon. My teeth feel great. I used to have sensitive teeth but not anymore. I’ve read a few positive studies on the effects of xylitol and oral health…much better and safer than fluoride!

      @jawnaraestokes5836 Месяц назад +16

Try brushing with aloe straight from the plant. It takes the sensitivity away. I did just learn that aloe has latex in it. To remove it, just soak in water for 10 to 15 minutes and see the yellow green goo emerge. Then slice it and use it right on your brush. An amazing clean. I've been making my own toothpaste for years with baking soda and coconut oil and sometimes added activated charcoal powder, some mint oil... felt great. The aloe...cleans like nothing I've ever used. I like oil pulling, to finish the process. I'm not a dr. Just a DIY kinda person who's known about fluoride since I was a kid. My dad worked at the water department and didn't want to do that part of the job. 😢 but he protected us. Our water was great. Totally different when he retired. Try the aloe! It really works!!!

It has to do a lot with mouth ph which varies from person to person; breathing habits, saliva composition, etc. And what bacteria live in your mouth as well im sure. One way in which fermented foods make a difference is that they are acidic; which is a great way to get rid of tartar. It dissolves it really fast; but not only your tartar of course. I started restricting my fermented food intake last year when I got very sensitive teeth due to thinning enamel. I was able to reverse that in a few months luckily; but sure enough my tartar buildup also went up. The dissolution vs precitipation of calcium in your mouth is a balance; and frankly id rather be a bit on the tartar-accumulating side of things. If you buy the right tools (soft metals, no hard steels) you can teach yourself to remove tartar safely, and its nothing too bothersome.

Jons Hopkins have a study on rats teeth which became more brittle after fluoridisation. The study happened about 100 years ago after it was noticed in the 1800s that fluoride attaches to the skeleton which is the body's way of shunting it to a part of the body that will not make the soft tissues toxic. The study attempted to establish whether or not fluoride strengthened bones by that affinity but fluoride is less dense than calcium, therefore it could be a contributory factor toward osteoporosis. In India there is a lot of naurally occurring fluoride in the ground and most often it is women who suffer from skeletal malformation of that.

I used to work in a laboratory. One of the most dangerous acids some of our researchers used what Hydrofluoric Acid. You have to take extreme precautions when using it because it is highly volatile and loves to embed itself in bones and teeth. It can not be handled like any of the other acids because it will cause so much damage to the body in a tiny drop. It also will eat through glass. I try to stay away from anything that has fluoride in it. I can't imagine that it beneficial to the body in the amounts present in tap water, or toothpaste.

Because chewing your food also breaks it down so it's easier to digest you're spit cleanses the food before it goes into your gut. Plaque calcifies into tartar the hard built up that does not come off with brushing and flossing. If you want to prevent both of these type of deposits, it’s very simple. Brush and floss and go to your dental hygienist to get the part under your gum cleaned as your toothbrush and floss does not go under the gum.

Idk about this one Dr. Berg. I follow Dr. Ellie's system and my teeth and gums have drastically improved. No cavities or gum disease for the first time. And I use sodium flouride. Maybe you are better off doing a video explaining the different types of flouride and which ones are in the water and different toothpastes. People are running with this trendy anti-flouride agenda and plenty of our teeth started decaying after not using sodium flouride. And now our teeth are improving with Dr. Ellie's system which includes sodium flouride.
    Ai search
There are several types of fluoride, including:
    Sodium fluoride-
A common type of fluoride found in many dental products, including toothpaste and mouthwash. It's effective at remineralizing enamel and preventing tooth decay.
    Stannous fluoride-
Similar benefits to sodium fluoride, but also has an antibacterial effect. It's often used in toothpastes from brands like Crest Pro-Health and Sensodyne.
    Acidulated phosphate fluoride (APF)-
Often used in professional dental treatments, APF is known for its quick uptake by teeth. It's typically applied as a gel or foam during a fluoride treatment.
    Fluoride varnish-
A gel that's painted onto teeth by a dentist during a fluoride treatment. It's sticky at first, but hardens when it touches saliva.
The formulation of fluoride in toothpastes can vary, and there's not enough evidence to recommend one type over another.
However, the bioavailability of the fluoride, or its ability to have an effect, is influenced by its formulation.
Fluoride is a mineral that's important for the health of teeth and bones.

As of typing this message, I still have one root canal in my mouth that I’ve been holding off on extracting it because every place I’ve been to says it looks fine on their CT scans. I’ve been diagnosed with ATypical type 2 neuralgia and I’m not sure if it’s from the root canal or not. My endodontist once adjust one of my root canals and told me to wait and not bite on them for 10 days which is impossible. He told me that it was hitting against the nerve or I think the other tooth at the time like a hammer. I asked him if they can cause pain within the body and he said “ absolutely, the body is one long wire”. Fast forward years later and he say that it’s not and that he doesn’t remember me saying that. I only need the truth because every time I go somewhere or get an x-ray done, they note something small, then when I come back for a follow up, all of a sudden it’s gone. This has happened many times and due to that I suspect that they are hiding things from me and displacing blame saying it’s something else and that they’re not involved. Since having my first ever root canal, I have been experiencing chronic inflammation 24/7 and it feels like my organs are being stabbed by a thousand knives radiating throughout my body (all except my right leg for whatever reason) I had blood work done and my ENA screen came back detected. Also something about positive anti body. My doctor told me that my body is basically fighting itself which I had already known. The pain itself never changes, it’s always a 7/10 for me and what makes it worse how the pain is affecting me i.e. respiratory distress, digestive issues, unable to concentrate etc. I tried many medication, foods, remedies etc., none helped because something is causing my pain simultaneously. Only a local anesthetic to my left side of jaw reliefs the nerve which in turn relieved almost all my pain (my root canals where done on the bottom right molars). I thought adjusting the root canal tooth again would help because most often I bite and clench on the right side of my jaw as if I’m trying to get rid of a scratch I can’t itch. At first I thought it was excess material although I’m always told it has plenty of space between the nerve and tooth. Is this feeling a result of referred pain? There were many occasions in which local anesthesia would be injected into my left nerve trunk and that temporary relieves the pain. I’m left confused with all this. I understand nerves are complicated and I can’t rely on where I feel the pain because it’s in multiple areas of my body. I’m only focused on my mouth because that’s when it started and there were times of relief(temporary as it been) in my body as-well. Does anybody know what I should do because based on this I’m unsure whether or not the cause is the root canal or something else because both side are telling me otherwise. I know the teeth and heart are connected and I feel like a constant stabbing sensation in my body (with the exception of my right leg). I hope Dr. Berg can help me with this problem.

Hi Dr Berg from the UK. Thank you so much for your informative talks. This talk i heard today confirmed/taught me a lot. By chance i had occasion to talk to a retired dentist today (brother of a friend). I also recently asked my dentist (who is from Sri Lanka) what he thought about fluoride. Both were 100% convinced it's wonderful and effective, both in toothpaste and in the water supply! Awful how professionals go along with what they're told and have arguments to hand, yet it sems no evidence exisits. Thank you for explaining things clearly for the lay person.

NOT A RECOMMENDATION SINCE DENTAL CARE DIFFERS IN THE WORLD. I'm a Swedish dentist. We recommend fluoride be used every day when brushing your teeth (morning and evening) and even more if you have active caries. But don't swallow it! Fluoride, just like salt and H2O, can be deadly in high doses, but beneficial in the right dosage/exposure (although salt and H2O are necessary for our survival..., fluoride is not). There are many homes in the world where the development of the teeth is affected in a bad way because of too much fluoride in the drinking water - most of the time, they have their own well. There are also many who suffer because of lack of fluoride exposure, with Caries (tooth decay) as a result - leading to treatments like fillings, root canal treatments, crowns, dentures and extractions (extractions is the only treatment where you don't put in exogenous material...). Your teeth benefit from fluoride, so the best way to use fluoride is to only expose the the teeth and not swallow it. So as long as there is not too much fluoride in the drinking water and you don't swallow the applied fluoride meant for your teeth - you should be fine.
Also, fluoride i recommended to prevent caries, but how often and what you eat affects if you get cavities or not also - by a lot. There is of course genetics in play regarding cavities as well as our saliva differs...
Tartar depends on your saliva composition (mostly genetic) and oral hygiene.

It is impossible to prevent dental plaque formation forever. You just have to brush and floss your teeth everyday. If you brush your teeth at night, you wake up in the morning with plaque (biofilm) in the morning. of course there are factors that can increase plaque formation, such as high blood sugar and hormonal changes in women among many. Do you mean you can stop calculus/tartar formation forever? This depends on the minerals in your saliva, diet and your routine oral hygiene. Some people have more minerals in their saliva therefore they are more prone to calculus formation. Some foods deposit more minerals on your teeth. If you have poor oral hygiene and your teeth is covered in biofilm(slimy fuzzy layer when you don't brush teeth), the minerals in your diet and saliva will deposit on the biofilm and it will harden and form calculus which needs to be removed mechanically at your dentist office.

I hate fluoride.. & everytime I take my kids to ANY allied health professional, or even any education dept. employee meeting, I get grilled on whether or not my kids have a dentist or if they're taking daily Fl- supplements.. It really gives one pause. And, just for full disclosure--- our town water supply is [unfortunately] fluoridated & my kids both have beautiful teeth with zero outward signs of decay. I could see people pushing this on us if my kids teeth were rotting out of their heads or they had obvious dental issues that a lay-person would recognize as a need for orthodontic treatment or something, but this just isn't the case..
    WHAT is the agenda here?

I will be removed if I talk about them.
Let me give you an example. I grew up poor and never was given the teeth paint kind. I can bite into ice cold foods and hot like fire foods and not flinch.
They always ask me why and I say I thinks cause I was never treated with fl….the dentists blush red in the face when I tell them.

The " brown" teeth may be " dental fluorosis" , a developmental condition with too much natural fluoride in the water supply. It can look anything like brown teeth to a marbel effect of Grey's and brown, that the high fluoride levels create in the formation stage.
