The song created a lot of government issues back in the day, I guess modern television wouldn't have liked it. Not a family show like this
This song is, in my opionion, the best expression of racial oppression, gender and sexual oppression ever written. If you are part of an oppressive community this song is performed and written for us.

Now this is the essence of the singing, black culture and black history. Strange Fruit is a song that should be impossible to do so the audience can enjoy the song, but he managed to do so, yet taking nothing away from the hard topic of the song. Amazing. The level of excellence that white people can only dream of achieving. And that's why I'm making party music :D
