The Orioles finally got swept by the Cardinals but at least they dont have to worry about keeping that streak alive anymore. Ironically, they immediately comeback and sweep the White Sox. Orioles Magic is still goin strong in 2024.

Yes, its a shame. Apparently his arm just can't take the punishment of being an MLB pitcher. If I were an up and coming pitcher I darn sure try to avoid the type pitches that are destroying arms all over the league.

Why would you take a pitcher out of a game after no hit ball after 7 innings? Was he hurt by chance? This doesn't make sense to me.
You don't understand modern baseball. Bradish was at 103 pitches after those 7 innings. He was done. There was no way he was going 2 more innings. Plus he's only had a handful of starts since coming back from the IL to start the season. Hyde actually made the right decision today to take him out.

He was at like 100 pitches and only came back from injury earlier this month. He's probably still on a pitch/innings restriction to minimize reinjury risk.
If it was the 9th they may let him try but like 103 pitches going into the 8th. Too much work to do yet.
It absolutely drives me freaking insane this analytical crap of a pitch count. How do you justify taking a guy out, Unless he's hurt when he's thrown a no-hitter. Especially that our bullpen is pitiful, with one pitch, he loses the no hitter and a shut out. That never would have happened back in the day. Never. absolutely pitiful.
