Yeah he’s my favorite current oriole as well. He was our best player on those rebuilding teams and now he’ll actually be able to enjoy winning baseball
If Means stays healthy and plays like this then the O’s are really really scary
Don’t forget, the Os ace last season Kyle Bradish has played just once this season and only allowed one run in the game. This rotation will be very scary.
If I was an O's fan, I would hope that Brandon Hyde has seen enough of Cardiac Craig in the 9th inning, and will give the closer job to Cano, or some other big time arm in that bullpen....

Cano struggled closing games last year. They might have to look around the league to see if they can trade for a true closer. It's the 1 weakness on their roster right now.
I mean Kimbrel looked dominant the night before, it seems it's a matter of rest and proper usage.
One thing for certain the Orioles are going to be shopping for bullpen help at the trade deadline

@@brandondillman5841his era was 2.11 last year (2.08 this year) and he played against good teams. Yeah he had occasional bad games but he played 72 games, it's baseball. He's looked like our best overall bullpen pitcher this year too. Webb has been solid lately, but he's had worse struggles.

Not with Elias at the helm. The Kimbrel contract is one of the few mistakes he has made. He will bring in a good relief arm or 2 at the deadline.

The Os were one base hit away from losing last night. The Os have scored 5 runs in 2 games, not exactly killing the ball.
The Reds lineup is not their strength, made worse by some key injuries.
The Orioles are a superior team, but this is far from a mismatch.

It's so stupid to watch when an infielder runs OUT to catch a ball that usually belongs to the outfielder. Why teams don't make it a policy that if the guy running FORWARD calls for the ball, he has priority.

Just Imagine if Adley and Mountcastle played in Cincy or before renovation Camden Yards....they would both be top in Homeruns..For pitching it was a pain, but let's be honest they didnt have pitching before these last two years.
Classic reds fashion. Look good for the month of April and then May hits and our offense just disappears. Nothing new. Our pitchers can’t do everything. Got to get some hits and create some runs. Just embarassing to be limited to just 5 hits over the last two games.

Look, I'm a purist. I still hate interleague play. However, the goal is still to get on base and score. When you have a golden opportunity in the 9th, like the Reds did today and lay a golden egg... Plus whenever the highlights switch to the Reds' at bat and Jonathan India is the first batter you see bad things are going to happen. Also the third baseman the $45 million mistake. This team has problems. It's not the manager. It's not the hitting coach. It's the fact that they don't have any fire. That's my rant and I'm sticking to it.
