2024 Ravens BETTER Than 2023?!?!

  • The Ravens had a great season last year and in the offseason they made moves which I believe will make them even better in 2024. A lot of talent left the building on both sides of the ball but the Ravens FO, Coaching staff, and Players are always competitive and always have 1 goal in mind, the Lombardi Trophy. This year is not different. Enjoy!

I definitely think this year's team is a upgrade. The sky is the limit if Ronnie S and M. Williams can play and be healthy for most of the season

Definitely! Part of that sky limit is not needing to rely on our rookies, having guys like Marlon and Zay in front of Wiggins and Walker. Almost anything they give you is gravy at that point

@@jordanBmore22 Exactly, our depth and the rookies are solid but having our Starters healthy will be the difference this season. If we get anything close to 2019 Ronnie Stanley plus a full season/ playoffs of both Marlo and Marcus Williams this team can be scary.

Agreed. Less certain id say but more upside so it’ll be fun to see! Honestly tho who cares as long as we raise the trophy!

I think the o line will be a major upgrade especially at LG and RT. We seem to forget that the line rotated through the games for most of the season.
Lamar made them seem better than they really were, and the big difference I see will be strength. This years line should be stronger and just as athletic if not more.

Exactly vorhees and Cleveland is big and strong right tackle
Is more agile then strong we know what the center do

@@thehandyfamily4807 yep I don’t think people realize how bad the o line was but when you watch film they never get a push and that’s why we failed at so many 4 and 1. The o line was the most inconsistent group last year.
So many times the tackles needed chips or they had to bring Pat in to double team.

Inuries notwithstanding, by far the biggest question for this team is the Offensive Line. On paper it is a considerable downgrade as you said, but I believe it has the potential to exceed last year's group. Every position except Center is an unknown (yes that include Stanley at LT). Only time will tell.

the 2024 team has a chance to be better because they are younger at critical positions. The Ravens have always been the best at blending new talent with talented veterans who are approaching the end of their careers but have plenty of gas left in the tank. They have spent and drafted wisely, now all they have to do is stop making coaching mistakes like not running the ball in last years AFC Championship game.

  • @thehandyfamily4807

Exactly they try say we ranked 3 in tight ends behind chiefs when they only have Kelce we have 2 starting tight ends and Charlie a good back up might can grow into a starter Travis too the way he looked last year in preseason

First, if things pan out with the revamped receiving corp and the addition of King Henry - I believe the offense is upgraded. The only thing remains is to see what happens with the O line but in Decosta we trust - I sense there a couple moves left and the O line will show up. I am a tad more concerned about the defense. The secondary will be better but concerned about edge and the loss at ILB - but if there is a step down, I think it will be slight and that the offesne will make up for it but again in Decosta we trust :). i think he might pull another from his hat with edge. All in all, we will be solid… and the competition in the division is stronger with the Steelers who I believe will make a jump up. In the end, I know we will be competing for a chance to the SuperBiowl.

If Harbs could just get his head out of his ass and run the ball in the playoffs, maybe a superbowl contender !

Of course we are Ravens fans but we do think the Ravens will have a better team this year. One thing the Ravens did which was underrated was sign Deonte Hardy. John Harbaugh is a special teams coach 1st. That will allow the Ravens to significantly increase their field advantage game. This will work well on the road since all AFC teams have 9 road games this year. Secondly, Derrick Henry will all but ensure the Ravens will run the ball on schedule unlike they did vs Kansas City in the playoffs. See Baltimore has built this roster specifically to dethrone the Chiefs. The one down fall is Cleveland, Cincy and Pittsburgh (whose had Lamar Jackson’s number) are all on the schedule twice a year. We have to win the division 1st and our roster is setup to beat Kansas City. We will see how the division stacks up but it’s gonna be another gauntlet of a year for the AFC North again. Although some analysts say the Ravens could finish last which is absurd. Realistically they could finish 3rd and still make the playoffs like we’ve seen the North do several times in the past few seasons of course. Hopefully the Ravens will be able to get some veteran lineman in to sure up the line

As a Cowboys fan, and really enjoying this guys take, it’s just hard to see that because of the injury bug. However, Ravens are a good football team. I will just say as long as myTexas boy P. Mahomes is still playing he will continue to dominate. Ravens are getting better but so are the Chiefs. It's hard for me to say that being a cowboys fan. I just think your QB L. Jackson is just too inconsistent. He is just like Dak in this regard that he will never win a SB until his style changes.
