I would love Eze, I think he is a left 8. Defensively the team is stronger so I think he may be protected but that's a part of his game he will have to develop

Great show as always Harry and agree with you on Belgium… my question is why are we continually being linked with defenders?We had the best defence in the league last season without Timber kicking a ball and with Tomiyasu hardly playing either… I think we have enough back there and need to spend our seemingly limited budget elsewhere.. what do you think?

We had the best defense because we had at least 3 of the defenders playing most of the minutes.
What if both Gabriel and Saliba got injured?

Amadou Onana looked great in the Belgium win....I think he can do a great job in the Arsenal setup
Eze, Simons, Doué… feels like there’s a definite profile emerging there that we’re (supposedly) looking at.
Williams, Neto, Rashford also feels kind of similar in terms of profile - pacy wide forwards who can play left or right.
And then there’s Šeško and Gyökores, who share similar attributes (even if their styles are different).
My guess is we’re looking at 1 from that first group and 1 from either the second or third groups, and that it may just come down to opportunity and price rather than having any strong preference one way or the other. I think we could make several combinations work.
I remember Arteta saying Haaland, Guimaraes and Kudus "didn't fit the right profile' for him when he was first offered them.
Fortunately his alternative buys Zinchenko, Vieria and Jesus all did...

I think we need to forget about Nico Williams and any big signings this summer as knowing Edu he'll probably sign Serena Williams and reward Jorginho with an extended contract to play another 4 games next season.

Harry Tierney was already here when Arteta came in, if not Arteta would not even touch him with a stick. Milos is a far superior technically and tactically. Milos is closer to Estupinian than to Tierney.

Didn't Trossards father criticise the Belgium coach. I noted Trossard played on the right but plays left with Arsenal. Might explain his poor play last night

I will take Eze in a heartbeat. I actually see Odegaard as more of a left 8 than Eze. Either ways, if we get him and Joshua Kimmich, that's a solid midfield for me.
And Eze can score goals as well...he will really be a good acquisition
