I’m not African-American, but am drawn to how amazing natural hair is and how it truly needs specific care. When we had two A/A salon owners visit our school to teach us weaving techniques, I asked one of them how she learned all she was demonstrating. “Our books don’t show us this.” She told me she learned by watching RUclips. Use bobby pins as you wrap your hair and remove them as you go. That is how my granny taught me and I have, I mean had before I cut it, long and thick hair. Wrapping your hair secures the style and protects your hair as well!!!
