I'm 53, divorced 5 years, married 17 years before that. I'm an educated professional with my own business and well off. Have been dating women in their 20s and 30s exclusively. The caller's question is extremely valid and insightful for someone sounding younger. The end game is unknown. That's the best I can describe it at this point. Mostly because today's w0men are all over the place, flaky, immature and plain unreliable. Which makes you think you would never want to end up with any of them anyways. Build yourself a solid financial future so your old age isn't jeopardized and play until you either can't or you drop.

Exactly right ! Im almost identical except Im 57, divorced 18 years, married for 14, own business and have a few bucks. Oldest woman I have dated since my divorce is 37 and Im short and not that great looking but I can make a woman laugh during dinner so that helps to compensate. I have loved all my relationships probably because I knew they were not going to end up in marriage and I was always honest and upfront about it. Also had the snip 20 years ago so that helped keep me out of trouble. Your advice is exactly how I live my life and what I would advise too, build a solid financial future, enjoy your maturity and play until you cant or you drop or you just dont want to bother anymore. Exactly right!! And for the younger men out there, you just cant know the end game, My wife left me when I was 39 for her boss, we had 3 kids, a beautiful home, a summer home, I loved her, loved been married and loved been married to her, she had a job she loved and we had a live in nanny to help her who had a nanny car in the drive way........and it was not enough. So she left me for her boss, married him, had 2 kids very quickly and the marriage imploded after just 3 years. They spent the next 10 years in court fighting. Tried hard to get me back and I mean hard. Jesus the sheer delusion and entitlement. Honestly, she was a great wife, a great mom and a great person but at 38 she just became an different woman and would have sold her soul to be with this man for whatever reason.... within 6 weeks of been married it was over, they just detested each other and god knows I mean detest!! Looking back? It was just amazing to have a front row seat of it all unfold and collapse. I could write a book.
The sooner you realize that you are responsible for your own happiness and that you don't necessarily need a woman to make u happy the better.
Amen...and by not spending your life providing for one of them, you guarantee a comfortable retirement for yourself.

It’s built in to them to have attraction for a boss presuming he’s not a complete pig. Bug or feature of their hardware, either way it’s just how women are.

It's crazy. Both of my grandfather's died in thier early 80s. Both were taken care of my respective grandmother's. Women these days will bail on you at the drop of a hat and make themselves victims.

I feel for the caller, but he seems to still believe in the delusion of female loyalty. Unfortunately, there’s just no guarantee. It’s perfectly okay to come to the conclusion that ultimately everyone dies alone. Even if you have a partner, one will pass before the other. Seek to reproduce, but do not depend on female companionship because they’ll leave you and then blame you EVEN ON YOUR DEATHBED. I’ve personally seen this happen. Life is a journey. Find & develop your purpose. Build your network. However, you MUST learn to enjoy your own company.

It's the reality of the world. I can relate to the caller. When growing up my parents and all four uncles I had remained married to their wives until death. In my earlier years I believed my life would follow the same course and was fully blue pill conditioned. But reality can't be denied. Nine of my seventeen cousins have divorced, two are on their 4th marriages.
I'll tell you right now those hollywood romcoms did more damage than crack cocaine. 99% of men out here basing their whole existence and legacy on a happy ever after with a modern woman smh.

How hard is it?
Men these days have four options:
1) Find the unicorn of a good woman, who's feminine, kind, humble, nurturing, takes accountability, gives her man peace, takes away stress, and reciprocates in the relationship without complaint
2) Be a complete jerk with garbage women and treat them as disposable
3) Be a simp servant for a garbage woman and let her crush you
4) Go your own way and not bother with women
I don't tolerate BS from women or men. Very soon after a woman comes into my life she quickly leaves because she discovers I don't tolerate her BS, and I don't allow her to control me, and that I don't simp for her. Sometimes they leave in a rage because they discover i have boundaries. Never mind, plenty of simps out there to step in.
For better or worse, cancer got me ten years ago in my late 30's, and the treatments (and age?) more or less knocked out my libido almost entirely. Mixed blessing, for sure, but going my own way has been so easy since then. I still watch this stuff because I find it entertaining watching (and remembering) how worked up men get over how to make things work with a partner.

Being tall, handsome, fit, well dressed, well groomed, well travelled, gregarious, well socialised, rich and successful doesn't magic decent women out of thin air. It just exposes you to more and more users and game players than before, so those men also go to option 4 over time. I guess the richer such a guy is, the more likely he'll keep a blonde Barbie he picked up at a bar around for a few months (at great expense to him) to drain his nuts until she turns into a liability, then replace her for another one he picked up somewhere else. Rinse and repeat.

@@eugenemichael2362 If I lived in a big city where I could be anonymous, I'd be #2, but as I live in a small town, that's a really bad idea. A lot of people know me here, or know people who do. So when I get approached by women, I don't do anything with them because of the consequences.
Here's my rules for successful relationships. Date the woman who wants you not the woman you want. Don't ever go out of your way to please a woman. She won't respect you. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be nice. The idea is for her to work to please you. She will do this right from the start if she really likes you. Don't ever simp for her. She will lose respect for you. Don't give her anything of value without making sure she has earned it. Don't get emotional when she comes with the sh*t testing. Brush it aside. You're a man, be stoic. Women love this stuff but they won't admit it.

Most dating advice is aimed for 20-30 year olds, maybe early 40's. For men over 50 there really is no great dating advice. What I've learned the hard way is that you have to figure out what and who you want in your life and stick to that. If she doesn't like that, then move on.

Part of the problem is, as a generalisation, our species is technically advanced, but socially primitive, such that 90% of us are dysfunctional because the parent who spends most time with us ( guess which gender She is? ) is authoritarian. Being born democratic & sociable, by about 2 years old, most kids will stand up for themselves, BUT unwilling to make any REAL effort/knowing no better, the mother goes into over control- toxic parenting & abuses the kid, but then blames them by using the tired old label of "the terrible 2s" to shift the blame & the kid ends up filled with repressed anger for most of their lives (& what I see of femiNAZIS is this anger is misdirected onto ALL men [ & "social" media keeps them @ a distance & makes it easy to spread their misinformation! ] ), as these angry women lack the guts to tackle their parent(s ) This level of "neurosis" ( for that's what we're talking about ) is what contaminates one generation after another, & has been so for countless millennia! The next social crisis that follows on from that is some abused kids shut down emotionally & seek power to protect themselves. In time they adopt the mindset of money=power & in this hierarchical NON democracy, they climb the social ladder to get ever more power to protect themselves. But as these hierarchies are pyramid shaped, it only takes a small minority to obtain control over 'all' their society l. The next stage is, as JOHN TAYLOR GATTO says in his books the school system is deliberately rigged to have us "dumbed down" as THE last thing corrupt politicians want is an intelligent population that will challenge the status quo where they benefit @ our expense. So, from my 30 years research on the 'net, this seems to apply to most countries! - While I appreciate these coaches on the 'net, they are also "dumbed down" so don't understand that they are only dealing with symptoms-effects NOT the ORIGINAL CAUSE ! For that, read the books of THE child psychologist ALICE MILLER ! She has passed on & fortunately for us GABOR MATE follow on. He's a little different in that he covers more of the consequences of trauma than MILLER did, but hell, just be grateful to her for being THE first to break NEW ground & leaving us her dozen books for posterity. - If your skint, there's lots of Gabor Mate on U TUBE, just don't forget the chronological order is TOXIC PARENTING = ABUSE , leads to TRAUMA & it's consequences, not only screwing up the next generation but probably FATAL DISEASE! As in, medico-psychology is now just beginning to pick up on "diseases of [dysfunctional] civilisation". - There's a LOT more detail to it than just this, but it'll get you pointed in THE RIGHT direction! - HTH?
I tell every woman I see, as long as she understands my boundaries and does not try to change me, and especially does not change who she is, I will continue to see her. If/when she tries to test me, she just ended the relationship. I do not give second chances, I just remove her from my life. Any man who accepts/tolerates bad behavior deserves what he gets.
By then your in survival mode. Your considering stability in retirement. Guard your assets to the fullest. A FWB situation becomes more common during this final stage of life. If you want to re marry I suggest find a foreigner and retire in her country to hedge your financial obligations.

I'm nearly 60 and the last 10 years has been a learning curve to say the least. As Rich says, women don't need Men these days and it's a hard reality that hurts when you meet a girl you really like. Equality has given women far more options. It's not good when you a decent honest guy wanting someone to settle down with again. I've dated a few stunners, yet they are always on the lookout for something better so have dumped me when you have a little misunderstanding. Today's women simply have it far too good and it's a recipe for disaster for what this guy calls the End Game. The end game is simply not there any longer, unless you are minted and can leave this woman something when you die.

Am 62, very happily divorced ( a bad and costly one ) at 43. Got back on my feet financially after a hard 5 years and have had plenty of women since my divorce and all very attractive younger women ( usually 10 - 15 years ). I am often told I don't look my age, am in good shape ( gym ) and pay attention to dressing and grooming. There are hundreds of available women out there and I never go chasing them as I have lots of other interests. I now own my property with a good job, investments etc. and will NEVER , EVER let any woman dictate to me again as my ex wife constantly did. I have everything I need and most things I want and am very content. The woman I am with now ( over a year ) is 8 years younger and gorgeous, hot, loves sex and is good company. I treat her well but she knows I wont tolerate any shit from her. If I had to I would walk from her should she give me enough of a reason and I would not lose one nights sleep. Its called having your own self respect and standards. Most men are afraid to be on their own. I have always embraced it since I divorced. It gives me power to choose and never have to run after anyone and its one of the best feelings you could ever have. I only wish I learned it aged 25.

In a marriage the competition anxiety goes away and the fear of loss goes away. These are VERY powerful instinctual motivators that a woman has to be on her best behavior. Why would you want to remove instinctual motivators from her mind like this? Young women invision themselves being a really nice mate for their entire life but in the reality of the fullnes of time they often change their mind with in 7 years and then they blame the guy saying "he brought out the worst in me".
Moral of the story: Not everyone’s endgame is the same. Path your destiny.
Moral: Be prepared to part with half your wealth to get married
Some of us men want a real long term real connection with one woman. It isn’t something to be shamed or discouraged. Focusing solely on the self and and viewing women as disposable, may work with the low quality modern women of today, but ultimately for some it is unfulfilling in the end. It’s unfortunate but true. Women can’t change their behavior but at the same time men can’t truly change their fundamental behaviors and desired. I think men ultimately want a real connection with a woman of quality that lasts and women are basically solipsistic narcissists.
Yes, BUT… you must first vet her, because believe me she is ALWAYS vetting you. You must dedicate yourself to always working on and improving yourself and not needing a mother but a wife (and understanding the difference). There are plenty of consummate bachelors out there who absolutely refuse to pay a dowry for an unworthy woman. If you are diligent and don’t compromise, you might find that special woman you are looking for.

I'd love to meet a woman I could take to events with me so I could let her loose and go and strike up friendships with the wives of other men and that way broaden my network at twice the speed. That's how it works. Only the last woman I met I felt I could do this with was well over 20 years ago. Nearlg all the others have been those I'd want to keep hidden in case they embarrass me. I mean, my ancestors took for granted they'd meet and marry a loyal wife they could stay with for decades and only separate at death.
Most of us want long term with the right one. I think you’re missing the point. Today, the woman that will bring you love and peace instead of drama and immaturity is extremely rare. I was married tor most of my 20s then single and playing for 14 years then married for a decade basically before becoming single again. Dating today is far worse than any other time in my life. That experience is not unique to me.

In my opinion, your fear of loneliness in one's 60s is a self-imposed limitation behind the curtains. Instead of constantly searching for companionship, countless sexual encounters, and understand the complexities of women behaviour, specially nowadays, I took control of my personal and emotional growth several years ago and stopped looking for the "perfect woman". This mindset shift has allowed me to feel great being alone and to have fulfilling relationships with loved ones, including my ex-wives. While finding a compatible partner is a possibility, it is not my priority. I am confident in my ability to lead a fulfilling life regardless of my relationship status.
Yes i have recently came to that conclusion about 6 months ago. Better to spend time working on yourself and with close friends/family. I am 46 and wasted so much of my life chasing skirt when they simply don't deserve it.
Women have come and gone in my life some have stayed for a short while some long term. I've told myself perhaps this will work or not. Women have been upset because I don't chase after them after they broke up with me. Few days later THEY text me asking to come over to their place. I don't care if a relationship lasts or not. I've always cared about my health, future goals and living my life.

Im 58 and stil dating women my daughters age and i am not rich. My advice to men is to realise that theres no woman out there whos gonna be as loyal as you want them to be, just accept that life is what it is and have no expectations. I think since I stopped giving a fu*k what women think or want they seem to flock around me now. Happiness is a journey not a destination. Stop being too concerned about the future it isnt here yet. we are all gonna drop dead one day so enjoy your journey.
I don't give a f--k what they think. They spot this attitude in me and I've little problem attracting women, especially younger ones. I spend more time and energy in getting them out of my life than I do attracting them. But all of them, with only two exceptions, expect me to be controlled by her, to have no boundaries, and to give, give, give. When they discover they won't control me, that I have boundaries and that I expect them to reciprocate, they're off, sometimes in an explosive temper. Then I often watch them get with simp servants. The two exceptions are women who treat me very well. One's a few years older, the other younger one is married. All the single women I and my bachelor friends behave as I describe. If you want a woman in your life here in the UK, you have to allow her to control you right from the start, or pretend to her that she is, but that means you still surrender everything to her.
You are right. If you think that giving your all to one woman will in any way guarantee that you won't be chucked in the nursing home, and die alone, think again. Think about those guys.

A buddy of mine offered to help install some new tires on my pickup truck in preparation for a long cross country trip. I usually mount/balance my own tires. The buddy works as a tech at a local dealership. We were going to utilize the lift and changing machines of the dealership.
During the tire-changing effort, my buddy turns to me and goes, "So why? What's the end-game with your DIY efforts?"
My buddy knows I have the resources to pay someone else to do such menial tasks. And yet, I still do the automotive and real estate renovation efforts myself.
"The end-game?" I respond... "The end-game is to keep beating the system... The end-game is to giggle in my head every single time I screw the tax man out of his grubby greedy demoralizing share!"
If you just float along with the current of the system, that current will keep you moving at the same time it uses you up. Oh, Father Time uses us all up. But, with a bit of self-discipline, one can direct the how, when, and where your candlewax gets consumed.

I think there is a concern that he may end up alone. Just remember the being alone is NOT the same as being lonely. Build a life that makes you happy. You can simp and kneel as much as youre asked and still have your girl leave. At the end of the day, at the end of your life, make sure you are happy. Dont trust your happieness to anyone else
Some advice for guys out there please listen to what rich is saying or other coaches such as Rollo! I unfortunately learnt all the material, believed I was an alpha until I actually applied myself in the dating realm and ended up hurt because I ignored my intuition and information learnt. It’s one thing to know the knowledge but it’s a whole other game actually applying it to your character and not falling victim to betatisation. A quote i read on another video which I can’t remember who it’s by but credit to them, was - “not every women will but any woman can”
The richer/ more independent women are guaranteed to divorce 100% in wealthy societies
Alimony is a boon for women in this age and accepted by males who are helpless

It's not up to you and balance can get pretty boring. At 60-80, I want to take my boat out with my dog or ride my motorcycle as often as possible not fall asleep in my rocking chair next to a wife that doesn't like me anywhere but by her side.

This. There isnt a woman in the US who doesnt have some deprogramming to be done. But you need to find one that is malleable and undo some of the fallacies shes been taught. I am doing that right now. When I met her she was a virgin at 25yo. We've been together 8 months and she has shown she can be taught, guided, led etc.
Key note: doing this will require you to be masculine and sure of yourself. It will also require you to be a wordsmith at times and to be able to convey these ideas in a way she can hear. There is plenty of data to support traditional values, seek that out and use it to change peoples minds.
Edit: as @mdhazeldine and @robertbillington2224 noted above most women you cannot change. But there are younger women who can be deprogrammed. It's pretty easy to test early on with an open discussion.

They weren't like this in the 90s. Only a small number were and you could easily weed them out. You had good confidence of going out and finding a decent woman to date or have an affair with.
