To all young guys out there (I was born in 1957). The fear of being alone pales into insignificance when compared to the hell of an unhappy relationship or marriage. Divorce is a terrible and horrible experience for anyone. The, drama free, peace and quiet that comes from being alone is priceless. Don't underestimate being on your own.
Loneliness can make you ill and even kill you but as you say being involved in a toxic relationship can kill you faster. You are correct in all points, we should take our time to find someone, in case that is theaim else some people can leave alone perfectly fine.

They need to be entertained at any and all waking moment. They usually have a group of weird guys obsessed with her, who are stuck in the friend zone. Every single guy you pass by including friends and family will want to get in her pants the moment you're not around. And if she's bored with you they might accept one of their offers. The same can be true with a plain Jane too, but not on the same scale.
I compete in bodybuilding shows. And will only date gym girls that are fit. Otherwise they get too jealous and complain about me eating right and going to the gym. It just causes sooo many problems if i date a girl that doesnt enjoy fitness

Women tend to look for status too. I have been thinking about that. Rich said it in the video, women often choose attorneys over plumbers, even if the plumber would provide a much better lifestyle. Part of the reason seems genetic/anthropological, women have always compared how they're doing with mates among themselves. It ended with me getting a full stay-away restraining order on her.. THAT made me realize *it is* better be alone / lonely, than in a horrible relationship / situation.

This is an extremely common probkem in the West. I have friends in UK, EU, Canada & Australia. Its like a never ending story. He also needs to be more realistic with his expectations. If he's only taking home 55-70k a year he's not special enough to be this picky. If you’re in a relationship and you are the only one giving, then it’s best to break it off. I’ve been rejected plenty of times like every other guy has. Best way to deal with it is to realize that someone who rejects you doesn’t deserve you anyways. And social anxiety is very hard to deal with, but the number one way I’ve utilized is to join activities or classes. Join a Male/Female soccer team. Take MMA Classes. Stream online. I've been to Boulder Colorado. It's a very wealthy town, I would imagine the girls there are into money. I noticed a lot of fit people there, everyone mountain bikes and skis in the mountains. Definitely a nose up in the air atmosphere though.

That sentence reminds me of all the times my family and friends say things like " you should date a younger girl", and my response is always "do you think if I could get a young (25yo, 35yo, etc) to date me I wouldn't" You don't always get to choose the sort of women you can date. Often you take what you can get. I remember the last girl I dated who I left, while thinking I can do better. That was 10 years ago, and so far I haven't. Sure, I'm better off single than with someone I don't really want or is not good for me, but what I'm saying is that it's wise to remember that we can't always pick and choose. And eventually the last girl you date really is the last girl you date, but you only see that in hindsight.
@@AfriqueNY That's not totally true. You don't have to be top percentile to get a girl, but you can't just approach every girl you like. Some girls will be unavailable to us, no matter what we do. That's just life. It just means the girls we ask out won't be as pretty, or as young, or as thin, or as funny as we would like. I'm not a pretty man, and I get rejected a lot, but every now and then I do meet a girl who will date me. She's just not my dream girl and I have to accept that she never will be.
I hear you. I left my last girl 5 yrs ago because I knew I could do better. After a lot of rejection had my first date in 5 yrs last week. She was attractive but found out she is 36. She had low interest in me but still showed up for the date dressed sexy which I appreciate. Yes, his lack of confidence is palpable. I can imagine him putting up with all kinds of BS from girlfriends out of a fear of losing them. He could start by just approaching women, on a regular basis, without trying to make them his girlfriend. Just make conversation without trying to get her number. If she's not really interested, you can just walk away without the humiliating rejection. Despite the perception, out there, some women are decent. I found this a great confidence booster. Furthermore, stop trying to gain her approval and concentrate on determining whether this is someone you might want to spend time with and don't worry about what she thinks of you. The more you do it the easier it becomes.

As an older guy, my experience is that average and somewhat below average women are always the most demanding. It's never the 8's or 9's. It's the 5's and 6's that want the world handed to them. I think it's because the higher women are just naturally given things but the lower ones aren't so they feel they have to make demands. And the majority of the time, they don't get them.

Do these women realize without these types of guys they will have no air conditioning, heating, plumbing, electricity and so much more? Guys that have useful, much-needed skills that can pay more than some junior lawyer trying to chase an ambulance. You can't spend a job title. My 1st job out of college was in publishing it sounded great. But the pay was much less than people would think. I had a 22-year-old neighbor who made over 125K per year with his junk removal business. He didn't waste 4 years in college. It opened my eyes. I proceeded to build my own business that was needed in the community.
you had an easy to obtain low value degree that is all. Junior lawyer don't make much, but wait a few years. If the junk man can make that much everyone with a truck would be trying to do it. He is quoting you gross not net. A client in construction once told me he did $500k a year. He did that as gross. after expenses he made $61 K after expenses and before personal income tax and social security were deducted. When the junior lawyer tells you he makes $80,000 he is after business expenses because he has none. wait until he makes partner.

Yeah having standards as a guy is important. I didn’t shift to that until my 30s, but it makes a change in how you feel about yourself too: not just settling for an ‘average’ girl, not taking any shit from girls etc makes you realise you’re worth more. Since when is 5'6 to 5'8 and 140 pounds horribly out of shape? She would be a size 6 or 8 at that height/weight. Pretty small for a taller girl. If she is not for you personality wise, or you just don't feel the vibe, fine..but don't try to make her out to be some fat whale as a reason for ending it. She is no fatter than a guy under 6ft being almost 200 pounds. Also taking off and leaving her on a date is a dick move. It's a date. I remember I got together with an ex that was obsessed with me. I thought the same thing, I broke up with her because she was a little over weight, but I thought " if I get her to exercise and lose weight then I can for sure make her the 'perfect wife' ". I remember I haven't seen her in 4 years. So when I saw her again I noticed and remembered she had this really bad double chin. I remember when I was with her I was very overweight , I was at least 220 with a big beergut. When I saw her again I went down to 180 . And she still looked the same. Okay so I thought let's whip her into shape how hard can it be? It was very difficult almost impossible. She had no physical capabilities at all. She can't even run up stairs. She can't do the most basic exercises. It's like she never exercised in her life, never played a sport, never ran , never consistently did a workout program,have done any exercise besides walking. And even then, she still lacks the discipline to lose weight. Saying that it's really difficult for her to lose weight. Which is something overweight women often say. I was never like a drill Sargeant to her about working out. All I would do is try to get her to take up the habit. And she wasn't really interested, I never gave her an ultimátum or did anything abusive, I just observed her. I would say to her " let's work out" and she would say " I don't feel like it". Thats all I needed to know to make my final decision. This is why you have to get with women that work out or are no stranger to intense training sessions. My ex needed to do a modified version or less intense version of a jumping jack, that's how out of it she was. And not just that her attitude towards working just so mind-boggling for me. Eventually I lost all interest in her. Yeah guys stay away from the overweight chics. Or I would say also women in shape that never worked out. Those women will gain weight and get fat and never come back to their prime. Get with athletic women.

Even if you don't have a degree, take the initiative to educate yourself on topics that may interest you. That will make you soo attractive. Even men with degrees would also prefer a woman with a degree or a reader if he's interested in knowledge. That's the fact even if people here on YT pretend it's not the case. In reality, its the case. It's also about the minds connecting. Money is not everything and superficial stuff will only get you so far. I dated a woman for 2 weeks and she time how her family was evil so they didn’t like her. Red flag #1. Another day we went out and she wanted me to drive to a spot but it was really late and I tried but couldn’t find it. So I suggested a dining spot and she agreed but later complained that I was passive-aggressive. Red Flag #2. Then I helped her with a big legal issue one special day early afternoon and she later complained that same day how I spent too much time on fixing her issue and not on her that day and complained all through dinner at a fancy restaurant I treated her to. Red Flag #3. I was with her 2 weeks and texted her later that night to say goodbye in a very blunt manner.

I’m very familiar with the area this guy lives in as I lived in that area for a number of years. CU Boulder is loaded with rich liberal elite chickies whose social media posts regularly include things like “If you voted for Trump don’t bother messaging me.” No kidding. My son’s first full-time job was working at CU. He has model good looks, is in excellent physical shape, is a third degree black belt, and teaches women’s self-defense. But he said it was difficult to get the women on campus to even talk or interact at all. They are there to find a husband with money and they can sniff it out like a hound dog. So finding suitable women in that area is a real challenge for most guys under the best of circumstances. For conservative or right leaning guys college campuses which are more and more liberal, are a dry desert of relationship possibilities. Fortunately in this area there are a number of smaller towns like Longmont, Lafayette, and Louisville where the dating market is more fertile. Stay out of Boulder.

I wonder how much this guy has really put himself out there. He said he met her online. Most guys only do online dating because its scary to talk to girls in real life. So they sit behind the phone screen swiping and shooting off the same copy and pasted message to hundreds of girls. Has he really tried? This is the best advice. Most guys have bad pictures and there’s too much competition online. The best things guys can do is find a hobby that brings them into contact with lots of people (men and women). Be as social and sincere as you can. Don’t just go looking for pussy. Try to make friends, go out with those friends you make, go to the parties they host.
He's at a disadvantage for living in Boulder, CO. The key is location, and that is not one of them. First of all, the demographics are skewed badly against men of his age group - roughly mid 20s to mid 30s. They grossly outnumber the women in Boulder County. Next, the local college, CU at Boulder, has a very excluded fraternity-sorority system. They generally socialize among themselves to a high frequency. With all points noted above, there are "exceptions" but the pattern is obvious if you live there long enough. I was in my late 20s and in my athletic prime when I lived in Boulder in the late 90s. I was a mountain runner and probably ran up over Mt. Sanitas 100+ times. I ran the "14ers" like Longs Peak under 3 hours from the Ranger station while wearing a weighted backpack. The local hikers were astonished I could go up that fast despite having the heavy build of a college football linebacker. But none of that athleticism really mattered in Boulder. The problem is that the town is teeming with hyper-athletic, college-educated engineers in their mid 20s to 30s. So, gender ratio and demographics are somewhat similar to Silicon Valley for the mid 20s to mid 30s. It has mostly male engineers with hyper-athletic lifestyles of outdoor sports that grossly outnumber the women. Then it gets really hypercompetitive to get a date. One local blogger posted getting a date in Boulder was like "pulling teeth". And this was from a guy who had a PhD, a pilot's license, and an extremist in outdoor sports of the area. He was in his early 30s and in his athletic prime as well. By contrast, I think the odds would be better for the guy near Greeley, CO or north of Fort Collins. As for me, I felt invisible in Boulder for much of my time there. But I moved to Tallahassee, FL when the engineering job market died in Metro Denver and Boulder in 2001-2002. The difference between Boulder and Tallahassee for dating was like the difference between a drought and prime spring weather with blooming vegetation and rushing streams. I met multiple women from Florida State University when I was there. I dated a beautiful blonde southern belle. I met an aerobics instructor who was strikingly beautiful. I walked around the tailgaters prior to the FSU-Miami game of 2005. Later that night, Brent Musburger highlighted a group of four female FSU fans which went viral on Facebook at the time. That was the introduction of "Jenn Sterger" and the cowgirls to media. You can still find that video on YT. This was all extremely surprising compared to Boulder. That town just isn't the ideal dating place for a guy in his mid 20s to mid 30s. It's bad enough for athletic, high-paid engineers and business graduates. It would be even worst for skilled labor jobs like the kind the guest has. He would do well in dating if he were in some of those southern towns across the "Bible Belt" where the gender ratio is not grossly imbalanced and the women are more conservative with openness to dating a blue-collar guy. With that said, given high divorce rates and the unfavorable divorce laws, I am glad I never settled down in Colorado. In the years after I left, I understand the family court system there is grossly traumatic for men who are on the losing side of failed marriages. I feel lucky now. I just wish I would have known it back then.
He's got the life part down (owning his business, income, ect). He just needs to present himself different when not working (Get a grey and blue blazer/jacket, some nice jeans, some nice collared shirts / solid color t's, a decent watch, a nice haircut) and he'll pull most women.

And social anxiety is very hard to deal with, but the number one way I’ve utilized is to join activities or classes. Join a Male/Female soccer team. Take MMA Classes. Stream online. Join other streams and socialize. Ask girls to be your friend BEFORE dating them.

I've been to Boulder Colorado. It's a very wealthy town, I would imagine the girls there are into money. I noticed a lot of fit people there, everyone mountain bikes and skis in the mountains. Definitely a nose up in the air atmosphere though.

Yes, his lack of confidence is palpable. I can imagine him putting up with all kinds of BS from girlfriends out of a fear of losing them. He could start by just approaching women, on a regular basis, without trying to make them his girlfriend. Just make conversation without trying to get her number. If she's not really interested, you can just walk away without the humiliating rejection. Despite the perception, out there, some women are decent. I found this a great confidence booster. Furthermore, stop trying to gain her approval and concentrate on determining whether this is someone you might want to spend time with and don't worry about what she thinks of you. The more you do it the easier it becomes.

As an older guy, my experience is that average and somewhat below average women are always the most demanding. It's never the 8's or 9's. It's the 5's and 6's that want the world handed to them. It was very difficult almost impossible. She had no physical capabilities at all. She can't even run up stairs. She can't do the most basic exercises. It's like she never exercised in her life, never played a sport, never ran , never consistently did a workout program,have done any exercise besides walking. And even then, she still lacks the discipline to lose weight. Saying that it's really difficult for her to lose weight. Which is something overweight women often say. I was never like a drill Sargeant to her about working out. All I would do is try to get her to take up the habit. And she wasn't really interested, I never gave her an ultimátum or did anything abusive, I just observed her. I would say to her " let's work out" and she would say " I don't feel like it". Thats all I needed to know to make my final decision.
This is why you have to get with women that work out or are no stranger to intense training sessions.
My ex needed to do a modified version or less intense version of a jumping jack, that's how out of it she was. And not just that her attitude towards working just so mind-boggling for me.
Eventually I lost all interest in her.

Even if you don't have a degree, take the initiative to educate yourself on topics that may interest you. That will make you soo attractive. Even men with degrees would also prefer a woman with a degree or a reader if he's interested in knowledge. That's the fact even if people here on YT pretend it's not the case. I dated a woman for 2 weeks and she time how her family was evil so they didn’t like her. Red flag #1. I’m very familiar with the area this guy lives in as I lived in that area for a number of years. CU Boulder is loaded with rich liberal elite chickies whose social media posts regularly include things like “If you voted for Trump don’t bother messaging me.” No kidding. My son’s first full-time job was working at CU. He has model good looks, is in excellent physical shape, is a third degree black belt, and teaches women’s self-defense. But he said it was difficult to get the women on campus to even talk or interact at all. They are there to find a husband with money and they can sniff it out like a hound dog. So finding suitable women in that area is a real challenge for most guys under the best of circumstances. For conservative or right leaning guys college campuses which are more and more liberal, are a dry desert of relationship possibilities. Fortunately in this area there are a number of smaller towns like Longmont, Lafayette, and Louisville where the dating market is more fertile. Stay out of Boulder.

He's at a disadvantage for living in Boulder, CO. The key is location, and that is not one of them. First of all, the demographics are skewed badly against men of his age group - roughly mid 20s to mid 30s. They grossly outnumber the women in Boulder County. Next, the local college, CU at Boulder, has a very excluded fraternity-sorority system. They generally socialize among themselves to a high frequency. With all points noted above, there are "exceptions" but the pattern is obvious if you live there long enough. I was in my late 20s and in my athletic prime when I lived in Boulder in the late 90s. I was a mountain runner and probably ran up over Mt. Sanitas 100+ times. I ran the "14ers" like Longs Peak under 3 hours from the Ranger station while wearing a weighted backpack. The local hikers were astonished I could go up that fast despite having the heavy build of a college football linebacker.
But none of that athleticism really mattered in Boulder. The problem is that the town is teeming with hyper-athletic, college-educated engineers in their mid 20s to 30s. So, gender ratio and demographics are somewhat similar to Silicon Valley for the mid 20s to mid 30s. It has mostly male engineers with hyper-athletic lifestyles of outdoor sports that grossly outnumber the women. Then it gets really hypercompetitive to get a date. One local blogger posted getting a date in Boulder was like "pulling teeth". And this was from a guy who had a PhD, a pilot's license, and an extremist in outdoor sports of the area. He was in his early 30s and in his athletic prime as well.
By contrast, I think the odds would be better for the guy near Greeley, CO or north of Fort Collins. As for me, I felt invisible in Boulder for much of my time there. But I moved to Tallahassee, FL when the engineering job market died in Metro Denver and Boulder in 2001-2002. The difference between Boulder and Tallahassee for dating was like the difference between a drought and prime spring weather with blooming vegetation and rushing streams. I met multiple women from Florida State University when I was there. I dated a beautiful blonde southern belle. I met an aerobics instructor who was strikingly beautiful. I walked around the tailgaters prior to the FSU-Miami game of 2005. Later that night, Brent Musburger highlighted a group of four female FSU fans which went viral on Facebook at the time. That was the introduction of "Jenn Sterger" and the cowgirls to media. You can still find that video on YT. This was all extremely surprising compared to Boulder. That town just isn't the ideal dating place for a guy in his mid 20s to mid 30s. It's bad enough for athletic, high-paid engineers and business graduates. It would be even worst for skilled labor jobs like the kind the guest has. He would do well in dating if he were in some of those southern towns across the "Bible Belt" where the gender ratio is not grossly imbalanced and the women are more conservative with openness to dating a blue-collar guy.
With that said, given high divorce rates and the unfavorable divorce laws, I am glad I never settled down in Colorado. In the years after I left, I understand the family court system there is grossly traumatic for men who are on the losing side of failed marriages. I feel lucky now. I just wish I would have known it back then.
