Classic...although the 9th is a Par 5 but it says Par 4 in the top left. I think there might be another one wrong in either Part 1 or Part 2 aswell
1K club!!! Love this annual challenge. Last year was great but letting subscribers choose the clubs interactively...genius! Good stuff!
Love these vids. Decided to do a under 500£ bag of used clubs my self, becouse i'm a student and just getting into golf I did not have a large ammount of money to spend. I used Facebook groups and golfbidder and here is what i found and at what price. These clubs were all bought used (I'll explain the condition) and the prices are in euro.
Callaway XR16 driver (condition was 10/10, brand new) 80€ (this was a steal of a small local facebook group)
Wilson staff Fg tour m3 3-wood ( condition was decent, 6.5/10) 30€ (good price for a beginner club)
Nike vapor fly irons 5-P and two hybrids 3 and 4. (Condition was pretty good, used for one seoson 8/10) 240€ (good price for fairly new top end clubs)
Bridgestone j40 wedges 52° and 56°. (Condition is pretty rough 5/10) 25€ for the pair (decent price)
cleveland cg12 wedge 60° (ok condition 7/10) 10€ (nothing price for a nothing club)
Wilson wisor level 2 putter (in good condition 8/10) 40€ (ok price, but not the gratest steal)
that comes up to 425€ so I have money left for a bag and some equipment. I definetly recommend buying used clubs, just make sure they are in good condition! Thank you for the idea and keep up the solid videos. And if some one read this comment this far than I apoligies for my english and if you'd like you can comment in your opinion on how I did with club buying and are those clubs any good. And also have you had any steals when buying used clubs.
And best club I have ever bought? That XR16 was such a good deal so I have to go with it.

mark turner thanks for the offer, but I unfortunetly have to decline. I live in northern Europe (Finland) so it's not possible, and I already have those clubs that I mentioned in my original comment, and IMO they are good enough if not even too good to start out. I'm sure if you contact your local golf course or put an ad on some facebook group that your giving some clubs away for a beginner I am sure that someone will take them and enjoy them. Thank you very much for the offer once again.

Okay anyone else blown away by he courses these guys play???? It’s crazy. Also best club I’ve bought was my Callaway Xhot 3 wood. Been in the bag for a while now and can’t ever see taking it out. Great vid Rick!
Since there’s always so many whiny trolls complaining about stupid things like too much wind noise, I’ve gotta give props to how great these vids have sounded w/ all that wind! Really enjoying the match but hope you get a boost of confidence @ the turn & start a back 9 charge Rick! Although it’s also very cool to see the fruits of Pete’s practice paying off too.
I feel for ya Ric, not at your best at the moment but I think we all know its a blip and youll be back to form in no time - great vlog Big Guys!

I’ve got so say that I am in love with my Ping G20 driver. I have a G25 now, but I wish I wouldn’t have given my G20 to my brother. Love the vids. Keep them coming!!

Always pull the pin Shielsie! And well played Pete! Think this Golfbidder Challenge confirmed your budget is better off spent on quality irons. Than wedges, or putters. And you really just need a driver you can hit fairways with. I don't know how you guys deal with that blustery UK weather!🌬🌧🌫🥶 Hopefully, Mr. Finch & Mr. Shiels can reconnect to bring back the Golfbidder Challenge?!🤷♂️🙏
Bought some clubs from golf bidder this week. Wouldn't of know about it until i saw the video 3 years ago. Worth the shot if people need clubs on the cheap

Honestly, that V Steel in Pete's bag is the best club I have ever bought! Bought a 3 & 5 wood, reshafted them from their original stock steel & had them in the bag for years!

Callaway Xhot pro irons 4-aw project x 6.0 rifled shafts. ball flight is just amazing. Played these clubs for 3 years now and couldn’t imagine hitting anything else

Rick, I still play MP 60's, albeit with PX shafts installed 5 years ago; would be great to see how they perform against say MP18 SC when you are back in studio to see how technology has moved on in the Mizuno family. Am going to change irons this year but with some much choice it is going to be a very difficult decision.
Best club I've bought is probably the Callaway XR 5 wood. The noise, look and feel just brilliant, very consistent.
Recently bought myself a mint second hand r15 driver for £90 and love it!
Also just picked up some ex demo sm5’s 48,52,56 for £60 for the set in great condition!
Sometimes it pays to be a lefty where there’s less demand for stuff! Love a bit of eBay!
Rick, you should get the Cobra Baffler XL 3 wood next time. They come dead cheap on Golfbidder and it has rails. I have one and it is really easy to hit off the deck.
Baffler Cobra F7 hybrid based upon your recommendation! I have the 2/3 and 3/4 and 3 metal.
When pats are good, shots are not good. And vice verse. Golf is never ending.
Interesting that driver, Woods, and wedges are the most finicky for you two to get comfortable with. Shows the value of when you find something that works, to stick with it on those clubs. Irons and putter are probably more interchangeable on a regular basis.
I like how on Rick's wedge shot into #9, that the chunk of grass he dug up flew right back at him because the wind was so strong.
Think I`m in Love with Pete`s Ansers! Is there any chance that you can smuggle them out of Golfbidder for me, they look beautiful?!

Best club I bought is my Rife putter. First round with it I won $150 in prizes and must have won well over a grand by now. I have holed miles of putts with it.

I am quite new to golf but my favorite club so far would have to be my Callaway MD3 60*
What kind of grass do you guys have over there? Our courses in NC USA are still super brown and thin and we have had way warmer weather than you all I feel.
Great vid lads , love the used club challenge as it gives a good idea of what's still out there and is great to play with , on a reasonable budget .Rick I'm available for tips if you want to learn how to smash the 3 wood off the deck :-)
Nike Vapor range of woods were so underrated. Granted, longer out there, but accurate and great feel.

My favorite club ever was my Ping ISI driver.. it looked like half an oil can but was very long!!!
The best second-hand club I've ever bought is a Callaway XR 3-wd. Very easy to hit off the ground. Let me add that it's literally the only Callaway club I've ever been able to hit consistently.
Best club I’ve purchased was my putter. Tommy Armour mallet with a really long shaft and grip.
Much prefer the longer shaft for versatility.
Best club I ever bought: 60 degree vokey SM4. Spent hours dialing in swings and and hit it to 5 feet when I'm between 80 and 40 yards out on 8 out of 10 shots.

Ppps :) the 4 wood you hit on the 4th part says my argument perfectly. How slow your swing is and how perfect you hit it.
The best club I ever owned is my current Taylormade RBZ tour driver. It’s so long and when I hit it clean it has just the right amount of cut

The best club i ever bought, for the money, was a 56 degree Vokey SM6 for $20 from a yard sale. The gentleman was selling an assortment of clubs he had accumulated for $10-$20 a piece. Too good of a find to not pick up and put in my bag. I got a 2Ball putter from the same man as well, but it was damaged at the hozzle and required a trip to the shop to fix.
Without a doubt my cobra king F7 4/5 hybrid. I use it more than any club on the course. BTW. This club challenge is your best vlog series!

I watched your putt on the 7th, when you mentioned the ball fitting in the hole I watched the replay several times and the ball doesn’t look like it will fit while the flag is in. I know that can’t be possible, can it!!

My Titleist 716 TMB 4 Iron, one of the best feeling clubs I have ever hit
1762 divided by 6 is equal to 293 which means his average shot on the par-5 was traveling 293 yards and did I mention he made the putt all three days.

I'm still using the Nike covert tour and mizuno mp32s I don't change clubs much except putters have literally 13 putters and hate at least 10 of them lol
