This was actually one of my favorite videos you ever made. I enjoy your professional adaptability with those "older" clubs.
Next challenge for you and Pete, play a round playing left handed with left handed clubs!
you should do this challenge again but this time, reward/incentivize the player to put together a cheaper set... a sliding scale of sorts... the further from the 500 total the more handicap you receive... maybe in 25 pound increments... every 25 pound shy of 500, you receive a shot... just a thought
Jamie Coburn I love that idea, someone above mentioned something on those lines but just said cheaper or older, by these rules they'd have a much more interesting and entertaining video, plus who doesn't like to see what kind of treasures can be found for pennies on the dollar, or pence on the squid, whatever those funny dollar and a halves they use are ;)

Great idea, but I would say 50 would be better, 95% of golf is in the players ability not the clubs lol

By far my favourite challenge you've ever done Rick! I hope this will be an annual thing for the next few years love it! Would be great to see you do it in other countries as well! US Dubai etc... if there's any similar things to golfbidder world wide
In the US we have 2nd Swing and 3 Balls Golf. They can easily do it here just not sure if they would let them go "pick" the clubs from the warehouse
We certainly hope to do more moving forward

If not yearly, I think doing this challenge every couple of years would be fun and also show how technology progresses compared to older clubs. Just imagine in a few years, you could do this challenge and pick out an Epic or M2 as a used, "old" driver! That's wild, haha

The amount of times I've seen Pete knock down a club and come up short is ridiculous. I think it's his biggest weakness. Either way, great video.

The Nike blades are THE MOST SOLID clubs EVER made... ALSO... THE MOST UNFORGIVING clubs EVER made! I played them for years, I LOVED THEM! Side-note... I ironically played the original Nike Blades w/ the sabretooth for years! Solid Set! (If wondering at the time I played Titleist 905R Driver, Nike SQ woods and Vokey wedges) I was very proud of that setup!!!

Love the challenge same as last year. Would be awesome to see it with some old time Top Flite Strata balls or Titliest Balata type balls from back in the late '90s.
Can't buy them anymore, especially balata. If you're lucky to find them on eBay they will be worthless (dead) to hit since the liquid will have permeated or eaten through the rubber-inner core if not stored properly.
I loved the first 2nd hand challenge you did so I reckon this is going to be epic.
Some great clubs on show especially that Titleist 980 5-wood; sweet looking club.

Doesn't matter how many times Manufacturers upgrade technology, this shows that quality is quality regardless of when it was made! My mate bought a set of G10 irons from Golfbidder, £170, perfect condition and a great clubs! Love this vlog idea

Thanks Rick, now I'm missing my i15 driver more than ever before and I've missed the head a lot even before this. Just hearing that familiar sound makes me want one. The one I had would've needed a stiffer shaft than the stock Ping stiff and it spun too much for me. The head was pure gold though.
Please give a little review on the clubs. A lot of people are looking into this second hand market. Would be nice to know how they feel and stuff like that

I think these sets are nicer than the average golfer! Nicer than my set currently for sure. Need to go with some cheaper and older clubs. Maybe game improvement irons to prove a point.

I like these challenges but I can't help but feel Rick has breached the spirit of the contest by using a club he currently carries. How about a decade-based challenge. Put together sets of clubs from the 70s (like your Dad's used to play with), 80s and 90s.....test how your games can handle the old tech. I'd love to see those vids! :)
I was so close to buying the mp68s but I bought the titleist zb irons instead and I love them kinda wishing I bought those mp68s seeing how well you're striking them!
I just finally upgraded my i15 to the g400. I had the i15 in the bag for 7-8 years. Hit it so good it was hard to consider taking it out of the bag!
Errrrrrrrm the Callaway UT you pulled from the stack at Golf Bidder had a KBS Tour shaft, the one in this video has a Project X shaft.
The white globs of foam are just that, just foam called marking foam, they are just an indicator that the fertilizer/treatment has been sprayed, it helps protect the players so they can take precautions (such as avoiding the licking of balls) and so the groundskeeper can be sure to not over apply or miss any spots. *The More You Know*
Rick, the 2 iron is such a cop-out
Next year you should do one club that you can "exclude" from the price. Like how you love the F7 fairway. Allow yourself one club that you can get regardless of the price. Love the videos!

The white blobs are a foam for when you spray, you have 2 blobers on the end of each boom to show where your last spray line was.

Hey rick, I think you should do a video where you compare different shafts. Not flexes necessarily but maybe two different shafts and see how they react differently in the same driver
