I just kinda found both Peter and Rick appear in my recommendations about a week ago now. I love these 2nd hand challenges! It is sad to see this is the last one. As a recent arrival, it has been fun watching them from the start. Just watching them go through and grab the clubs themselves...it is one thing to order online..I think any golfer would have a bit of that kid in a candy store grin when walking through a place like that..lol.
M1 Peter! Great choice as I still have mine and use it off and on when the Ping G400 acts up. It's still a great driver and probably will never trade or sell it.

Best picks Driver: Pete (The M1 will go down in history as a driver design game changer) 3W: Tie (The way Titleist makes clubs they will probably perform the same). Irons: Rick (Those Callaway X forged irons were under the radar great and the driving iron should come in handy.) Wedges:Tie (Rick's Trusty Rusty was a good pick but, it was offset by Pete's Mack Daddy pick) Putter: Rick (They both picked an Odyssey blade but, sometimes modern improvements makes a difference. I hope for good golfing for both of them in the match
Me and my mates love a bargain. We did a lot of searching online many years ago when we bought out clubs. Tbh not had chance to play very often over the years but we still use bragging rights about how little we paid when we hit a club well. For example when I hole a 10ft with my 99pence putter the boys get rinsed for the next 2 weeks!!!!

Really love this challenge and idea, because lets be honest who doesn't like going back through the years and picking out golf clubs. But ive gotta say some different clubs then the last few years would of been really interesting, but hey looking forward to the on course battle.

maybe that has been done before, there should be a version where you buy clubs for Rick and vice versa (or a we vote for the clubs you have to compete with). Of course, there should be rules like no one is buying left handed clubs... I'd be very happy to see who is adapting better to the clubs chosen by another.

I have to say, Pete did get the big bomber for a driver but Rick's strategy is on putting the money on his putter!! This I think is where Rick has an advantage.
