One of my favorite mini-series to watch. Next year maybe a little twist could be picking a different brand of club for Driver, Wood, Irons, Wedges and Putter. Can't wait to watch, keep up the great videos.

The Golf Bidder challenge is great. It's awesome to see good golf that these two play with "old" clubs. Love Rick's MP60 irons choice. Probably my all time favorite set of irons.
Those Mizuno MP 60- still better irons than most today. Feel is just awesome.

Hey, Pete!! Here's a video idea for you: I don't know if they are as ubiquitous in the UK as they are here in the states, but you should do this second hand club challenge, but you buy all the club's from thrift stores. It'd be like a third hand club challenge. So visit all the thrift store in your area and see how close you can get to filling a full bag, then play a round with them. :p thanks for the vids!!

Liking this idea. You could expand it even further by starting completely from scratch and saying that everything you don't wear, but need on the course has to be bought: Bag, clubs, balls, tees. Then have the challenge purely on price, whoever spends less, for every quid/fiver/tenner less they spend than the other, they get a stroke back from the bigger spender. It would be a great way of seeing just how cheaply it's possible to get out there and then whether the equipment is actually any good.

Great challenge and love the new format. Wish we had golf bidder in the states. I think Peter won the first year and Rick won last year. My vote is Peter this year due to his irons. I think he will struggle with the SLDR but make up for it with his irons and putting. Rick will crush it off the tee but struggle with approach shots. But no matter what it will be a awesome match!!!!!!!

Finally someone picked the v steel!!!
That place is mind-blowing! I noticed the slew of Taylormade Red Spider putters that were behind Pete (and later, Rick). Even with all the hype I guess it just didn't work out for a lot of people (me included, since I find it's not as comfortable to use as my bigger Ghost Spider).
Rick is absolutely right! Cleveland is the only company I've ever seen that offered a wedge for sale to the public with 53* loft. I remember a "D" wedge that was Cleveland's Gap wedge, in the early 2000's.
MP-60s were my first Mizuno irons. Lost them when the vacation home was burglarized and they were among the clubs I lost when I was wiped out.
The Wilson driver is the driver that I use and I love it. Feels so good in the hands and the profile is wonderful. Excited to watch you swing it!

Peter Finch Golf The irons you both chose (and those amazing prices) have convinced me to buy used if I ever decide to replace my MP18-SCs. Hell, I might splurge on a second set just bc you can get a full set of beautiful forged irons for far less than a brand new 3 wood!

To this day my favorite club in my bag is my Taylormade Vsteel 5wood. Shes getting a little rough with age, but it made me happy seeing them get some love.

I just got back into golf and buying used is the way to go. I just picked up a full set that would have cost me $2500+ new for only $600. Oldest club is from 2015. You can also see the reviews of clubs used for years.

Love Golfbidder. Everything except my putter came from there. They even replaced a wood when the face got stoved in under warranty. Warranty on second hand clubs........I mean come on how good is that!

Glad to know I made some good choices a few years ago! Still playing the V-Steel fairway woods (3 and 5), and only recently replaced my Mizuno MP60s with a MP5/MP25 mixed set (but I won't be selling the old ones).

I used to own the Fg F5 Wilson driver, and its a great club. But the only one downside is that it doesn’t last very long, the head cracks

If my bag had $500+ of clubs in it, there would be MUCH newer clubs. I'm a 10-15ish handicap using Ping Karsten II irons, a Ping G10 driver, Super Concorde 3+ and 5 fairway woods, Pinemeadow 64 degree lob wedge, and a Ping Anser 2 putter.

Of all there was to take in here...I am left thinking....Rick was singing incy wincy spider.....I learned that as itsy bitsy spider. Wonder if that is a regional thing, or if the words were changed over the years. I am pretty sure I am a bit older than Rick and Pete...maybe the words got changed....Been quite a while since I heard anyone singing that song. lol
