One thing that really had me scratching my head was that I wasn't getting any sound from my e drum kit, Roland td-17kvx via midi. After hours I realized that the midi channel on the Kontakt drum kit needs to be set to "Omni".
Thanks for this! I spent like 1,5hrs trying to figure out why my added outputs don't show up at the plugin mixer... All I needed to do was to restart the program. That's of course something from the 2000's. You'd think that the plugin/program would run some sort of update to have those available instantly...
3:59 1.5 hours? I spent 4 hours trying to get this done. I'm using Cakewalk and already had multiple tracks created for Kontakt. My problem was figuring out how to assign the different pieces of the drum kit to seperate tracks/channels. Finally I found the "settings" menu in the Abbey Road 60's Late Lite kit. Then it was a breeze. But before that I ran into a problem where my e drum kit, Roland td-17kvx, wasn't making any sound in Kontakt midi. Took me a couple of hours to figure out the midi channel on the drum kit needed to be set to "Omni". I had no idea what the problem was. I even did a factory reset on my td-17kvx. It seems this stuff is never, ever easy. But I have the type of personality where I just don't give up. It's such a rewarding feeling when you finally get it done.

I don't have the Factory option you mention at 3:09 which is the key of my issue, I don't know if it's because it's Kontakt Player or what
How about cubase? i can't find the way to setup multi out
