    - Turned out to be a heck of a Super Bowl and a classic finish after the 1st-half was mostly a defensive struggle. But you still got the feeling this would eventually turn into a back-&-forth affair which it did during the 2nd half. Rams dominated early on the defensive side but the Titans showed how gutsy they were & battled back to draw even before Warner's MASSIVE throw to Issac Bruce to re-take the lead, then the defense once again had to step it up as the Titans were threatening to tie it at the very end. Never will forget Mike Jones making the game-saving tackle to preserve the Rams' 1st Super Bowl win. Definitely one of the more memorable Super Bowls for sure. I honestly believe it was this Super Bowl that began the recent chain of classic Super Bowls, as before this game many of the Super Bowls played over the previous 10-15 years had failed to deliver as far as excitement & nail-biting finishes go. Ever since this game it sure has felt like just about every Super Bowl( with the exception of a couple games )has been exciting right to the very end. :-)

Since then, only Super Bowl 's 42, 43, and 49 come close in terms of roller coaster heart stopping suspense. Super Bowl 34 had a defensive battle, a brief offensive shootout, a brief blowout, at the time, the largest comeback, and it ended with a game saving tackle. In terms of competition, I have to agree with you, and even go as far as to say it's the best since the turn of the century

As a Titans fan this one still hurts. It stings less though because of who we actually lost to. Rams were a great bunch and Vermail is a class act. Our team was great but that Rams team was legendary. Things are finally looking up for us Titans though!

When the King returns, they should be back in the big dance...I'm crossing my fingers, but I'm hoping it's Titans vs Cowboys for the superbowl this year - 2 great teams, and 2 great stories...the 'overlooked' Titans fooled everyone!! Dak's return from a broken leg...I mean, they make movies outta stuff like that! I don't know if my Boyz could handle the Titans (ahem...Oilers!!), but we'll try!

Amazing that this was the team that got there, a young, inexperienced, but hungry football team. They spent every year after this trying to repeat this, but couldn't ever get back here. Sad to see that squad come so close but never get another chance.

Mannn! I remember watching this super bowl. Prolly one of the best I can remember. I was a huge St. Louis Rams fan growing up. My little league team was called the rams. And Kurt Warner and his story just compelled me too be a big fan. And he was a known Christian. Had too go for him. Glad he won at least one super bowl! But sorry tomorrow Brady is gonna beat the new Rams team.
