battlefront cj Taylor is certainly in the HoF conversation. He had many clutch catches for the Niners including the clinching TD from Montana in the SB against the Bengals in Bill Walsh's last game as Head Coach but the biggest omission into the Hall from those glory years has to be Roger Craig.

The 49ers made it look so easy. 10 Pro-Bowlers, Steve Young as league MVP, Dion Sanders as Defensive Player of the Year, Bryant Young Rookie of the Year and of course, Jerry Rice, aka The GOAT. Not only great players, but Mike Shanahan as offensive coordinator, Gary Kubiak as QB coach, Ray Rhodes as defensive coordinator - all future head coaches, plus George Seifert and the legendary Bobb McKittrick.

By the time Kane Williamson is finished with playing cricket, it is probable that he will be New Zealand's greatest batsman. Even Martin Crowe endorsed that view. But he may also finish as one of the game's most loved global figures. Williamson is ambidextrous, bats right-handed in the top order across formats, and has become a pillar of the New Zealand side since he made his debut in 2010.
Williamson was born into a sporting family in Tauranga, the largest city in New Zealand's Bay of Plenty region. His father had played Under-17 cricket for Northern Districts, his mother was a representative basketball player, and his sisters played volleyball at age-group level. Williamson took to cricket and it grew beyond a hobby quite quickly.
He was modest about his skills, too, - "Everyone is gifted, I guess, but you get some that seem exceptionally so. I'm not one of them," - yet Williamson was billed to make it since he was 14. He scored a century on Test debut at the age of 20, and at 24 years and 151 days he was the youngest New Zealand batsman to 3000 Test runs- younger than Don Bradman too.

Absolutely right. His footwork was perfect and the way hed gently flick that ball and put perfect touch on it. He wasn't a flame thrower and I remember when Favre would tease him because Steve could barely throw the ball 50 yards during QB skills competition. But clearly he didnt need to, Steve could drop dimes wherever he wanted. Steve was coached really well in the USFL by Sid Gilman, who created the west coast offense will Walsh. Hes the one who perfected Steves footwork and timing, the west coast offense is all about footwork and timing, to the exact second.

    Couple of things to note:
    1) This 49ers secondary was STACKED with Eric Davis, Deion Sanders, Merton Hanks, and Tim McDonald! Tootsie Rolls and the Chicken Dance were abundant!
    2) Living through the 49ers dynasty in the Bay Area feels similar to the GS Warriors championship runs with a ton of general, casual fans around the country.
    3) Why is George Sefiert wearing a heavy-ass Starter jacket in 76 degree Miami weather?
    4) You can see the heavy influence of slants and boot-action plays in the Shanahan family with Mike Shanahan as the 49ers OC in 94 all the way to his son's, Kyle, offense here in SF in 2018. Roger Craig and Ricky Watters were the precursors to Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman, Dion Lewis, Todd Gurley, and Melvin Gordon just to name a few.

49ers/Chargers was the end of the era of Super blowouts. The NFC win streak still went on a few more years, but DAL/PIT and NE/GB never felt like total destructions.

The editing cuts the clip before he says the score multiple times! Very frustrating, the score is an essential context to have when watching a football game

Young still holds the record for TD passes in a super bowl.

I love that end zone celebration by the Charger player at 11:50. I wished we could’ve seen the closeup replay of that.

This proves that when you get in the Super Bowl you better damn well win it! Its been 27 years since the 49ers won one.

Same for the Chargers; this is still their only appearance to date.
