- Let's Boost Shoulder Strength with Resistance Bands! This gentle workout is perfect for seniors & beginners.
Strong shoulders not only look good in the summer, but they are involved in almost every upper body movement including picking up your grandkids or fur babies, reaching for the glass on a shelf, or sweeping the floor. In addition, strong shoulders help improve posture which stabilizes your spine and enables your joints to function properly.
This workout can be done in a chair or standing. Below are the five exercises for strong shoulders:

This video for seniors over 60 features 5 exercises using resistance bands to strengthen muscles around your shoulders, which are the most complex joints in the body. (As a substitute, you can use light weights if you like!)
Depending on your fitness level, you can do one set or repeat the video to do one to three sets twice a week as part of the two recommended full body weekly strength sessions.

Really enjoyed my first session thank you ladies l have osteoarthritis in my joints recovering from a fractured hip. I am 67 and found your exercises just wonderful. Will be doing work out 3 days a week to build muscle and strength. Keep up the great work. Thank you 😀👍💕

Thank you so much for keeping it fun and interesting for us. Your charming personalities are what makes Y2N special. I didn't have bands, but used my little dumbbells that I had from other workouts. Pretty soon I'm gonna have to get some 8#-ers! Not for shoulder exercises (I want to be careful about shoulders, as you say, and just used 2# for most of these) but for some of the simpler upper-body ones like bicep curls. Thanks again!

I am relatively new to this channel. Going through the exercises recorded earlier. I find you two very motivational.
At some stage is it to doable to do some exercises for carpul tunnel exercises. My neck vertebrae click making loud noises. Any suggestions for exercises/stresses. Thanks

What length and width are the bands. the handles connect to them. I have the bands but no handles on them. them. Is this Amazon

I have Bursitis of the hip joint will probably need a replacement in a few yrs but are there any specific exercises that I could do that will ease the pain I'm 75

i have to be careful with my shoulders cause i had right shoulder surg in 2014 and i have a bad left shoulder,
