Well the trailer simply gives you the idea of geralt eventually going to kill her for whatever reason, but however sadly they never made a mission or a contract to kill her
Honestly, when i first met her, at the artist's party i mean, i got suspicios at first when she overpowered a dude that literally ripped off a door to use it as bridge between balconies, then when Anarietta tells that she always feels uneasy around her, and the final thing was that voice/face she does when she says she knew Regis forever... after that i was like... ok 3 high vampires, a duchess and a witcher walk into a bar lol...

Some people seem very confused. This is not after the trailer but instead "A Night to Remember" trailer depicts what happened quite a bit of time after these events and that is the genius of CDPR. They had it all planned out. Geralt obviously figures out the deal with children and says he would come back one day and the trailer is him coming back for Oriana. "Nice tune, been a while since I've heard it last" refers to the time he heard it here in this video.
Does that mean it’s canonical that Geralt gets the medium ending of B&W, aka Syanna dying? Because it’s impossible to get the good ending if you go down the Orianna route right?
@@theamelia4580 you can get the good ending even after helping orianna. You just have to agree with Regis not to see the unseen elder after helping orianna.

Orianna is the vampire that hunts geralt in the lullaby trailer, I always wondered who was the girl who hunted in the trailer? and if it was a witch or a vampire? Now everything makes sense.
She is a higher vampire but the thing is higher vampires may have different transformations, like the one you fight in "novigrad closed city" quest where we get to see a higher vampire transforms into a katakan. On the other hand Orianna into an Alp and of course deathlaf has an entirely different transformation. Its just what i think.
They kinda messed it up in the game. Basically all vampires are higher vampires, but Nosferats like Detlaff and Regis are the 'true' higher vampires that cannot be killed by anything other than themselves. Orianna is probably a Bruxa judging by her ability to turn invisible, and is thus capable of being killed.
Abrar Like Warle said, there are technically 3 classes of vampires in the Witcher world: feral beast-like vampires, the Ekimmaras, Fleders, Garkains and Plumards. Then there are intelligent vampires who can take the form of humans, they get stronger and smarter with age, several hundred year old specimens can masquerade themselves as regular humans and live like higher vampires, these are the Katakans, Mulas, Nosferats, Alps and Bruxae. Then the true higher vampires, several thousand years old immortal creatures with extreme regeneration and powers beyond human measure, all of them are exceptionally unique and so is their "giant bat" form, they can live without drinking human blood, and can only be killed by another higher vampire. The only ones we know of are Regis, Dettlaff and the Unseen Elder, who is likely millions of years old.
