Would've been brilliant, especially if he made Eredin completely aware of what was happening while time was frozen and O'Dimm came at him with a fuckin spoon.
I love the idea of Geralt watching a man disintegrate in Satan's hand, keep a straight face, then immediately demand that he wants to be really, really fast

UndeadTurning Well funny thing I didn't let Ciri vent out her rage in the elf mage's lair. I personally thought it wasn't worth it. In the end thought it wasn't going change anything. However I did do everything else correctly so some options are more important than others. I let her be a witcher by the way. She seemed pretty content.
3 Negative choices out of 5 = Ciri dies 3 Positive choices out of 5, (visit the emperor with ciri + Ensure Nilfgaard wins the war) = Empress Ciri 2 Positive choices out of 4 = Ciri becomes witcher
i need help with this hint given by the game and remember the cat and dog at iris's estate saying when master mirror asks what fate you want choose one inside a unbreakable glass or something
@@bharaths5946 The hint is only when you choose to save Olgierd rather than let Master Mirror take his soul. You will compete in a puzzle game and you have to find Gaunter O'Dimm before the time runs out. He tells you a riddle as aid, and the aim is to find him in glass that cannot be broken. What holds a reflection and can't be shattered? Water
@Geralt of Trivia They didn't solve the war, they essentially surrendered to Nilfgaard. What Dijkstra did was dirty but ultimately better for the North.

@@theskywalker8416 I think this was actually the point. The expansion isn't meant to foreshadow, so much as tell players in New Game Plus how to actually get the best ending, imagining they didn't make the right choices the first time. Of course most people Google'd it, but still.
@@almonteclaro1218 That's actually what it means but you need to think just a bit further. Remember he always refers to himself as Master Mirror, so basically, Mirror of G.O.D - basically the Devil

"Rich" can be open to interpretation, especially if you don't say exactly how much money you wanted. 5k orens is nothing to most professional witchers, but to a beggar? It could change his life

Necrostrike O'dimm was not finding her. He just doesn't know where she is at the time thar Geralt asked him. He is not actively chasing her like the Hunt. If he wanted to find her, he will be able to after putting some effort in. The Hunt is nowhere near the level of O'dimm

what I don't get, is why this one is said to be the "bad" ending when you look it up on RUclips. Iris is dead, and now as a mortal, what's he even got left? To me, letting him live, along with letting iris keep the rose, is more messed up than O'Dim coming to collect.
TheDezembro there is a enchanter/runecaster or wtv the hell he is called, it takes 30k gold to finish his quest line where u help him rebuild and rebuy his tools so u can get REEEEALLY good runes and enchantments. I don't know a whole lot more then that as I havnt gotten 2 him myself,

Control over time. This possibly means he knows of every alternate timeline in the Witcher universe (the branching stories), and merely advised Geralt what actions to take in order to not get Ciri killed, as that's what Geralt truly wanted. You could call that cheap writing, but actually, it's quite ingenious. In one shot, it establishes as O'Dimm as a near godly creature with control over time, displaying utmost cruelty over petty business. It showcases his power, and his temperament, and why you shouldn't fight him, in one 2 minute scene
Yep, or gameplay mechanics, I expected that saddle to pause time for everyone and everything else every time I sprinted on roach until he ran out of stamina
+Samael Blackstone The Thief friends isn't one of the choices. It's the snowball fight (Which everyone should do just because it's the best scene ever), The Laboratory, Getting paid by Emhyr, Skjall's grave, and talking to Phillipa and Margarita about Ciri's relationship with the Lodge of sorceresses.
Geralt: "I want to romance both Yen and Triss." Gaunter: "Alas, White Wolf, that is one wish i cannot grant." Geralt: "Why not?" Gaunter: "T-This.. Is not Mass Effect, Geralt. Things are designed more tastefully here."
Canon Geralt is fair, but I can not ignore that Geralt may be really unfair and dishonest, if player wants him to. But, honestly I don't know a single person who wanted to make the bad decisions in Witcher 3 for any purpose different from a lore "experiment"
He is not like a mirror ! He is purely evil! He is disguised as mirror seller and thats it! His character is based on leland gaunt from needful things stephen king novel! Nothing original!
Ikr, even 50,000 crows doesn't pay the runecrafter and all Witcher sets to max quality (base game). Yet 100k would do the trick, but I hate the idea of a demon running free in the world deceiving fools for their souls.
I did not understand it because for some reason i got the best possible ending with ciri, didnt know this many ending were possible. I only Discovered this game now, in 2019 and its amazing
Wouldn’t exactly call it “win”, we all would win the game if we managed to finish it til the last quest. I’d go with “getting the best ending possible”
who he is seems pretty simple you me, a demon from a different/unknown dimension who gain power by collecting the souls of mortals, and does so by granting their wishes in return.
Well, Gaunter O'Dimm is basically the Witcher´s Interpretation of Satan, based of the German and Polish Version of Faust. But there is also a Fairytale about a Master mirror, and there is the Clue from his Name, Gaunter O'Dimm, or abbreviated, G.O.D.
In all honesty, i dont get from game perspective. If you play on harder difficulties(Which im not, because the fights turn into LONG, LONG, LONG and VERY LONG slices, which end up in me saying "Okay, im done with it, lets lower it to not be bored"), that and there is no hunger mechanic, unless Dimm teleports Geralt to devilish planet called "Nether(lands)"
Even better - you'll be his slave, doing all the dirty work for him, making pacts and accomplishing wishes, but you won't be able to use it for yourself :D
That ending never fails to give me chills. Gaunter O' Dimm is a well written, intimidating villain. I'm glad CDPR was able to successfully turn a throwaway character into the villain of an expansion
As someone who thoroughly enjoys story plots, I knew from the moment I met him this guy had more to him than it seems in white orchard. Beat TW3 years ago on xbox (before dlc) and now have it and the dlc on pc and only just started a new game.
O'Dimm is at the start of the game because he was to appear in the main story, in a mission alongside Iorveth, Roche and Dijkstra. They cut that mission (that's why the ending of reasons of state is so bad) and made a DLC about him.
@@jmdr7522 that was literally my (and many other people's) least favorite quest by far. Dont get me wrong its an amazing game but if you're going to put so much effort and time into a game to be so deep and immersive, you really shouldn't skimp on a quest that literally sets the tone for the entire geopolitical situation after the main storyline, even if you're running out of time. I know they have amazing writers, so they shouldn't have done things so out of character for dijkstra, him having overlooked whom Geralt calls friend, or having no backup plan if he didnt care about that
"Tell me what reward you've chosen." "Hmm. I wanna be able to disengage from combat so I can climb something." "Wait...you're kidding, right?" "I am crapping you negative, old son."

The way he walked away whistling and then throws the skull up to show the Logo with expansion pack was just Beautifully done! I couldn’t believe it when I saw it
It's not confirmed but there's no way they won't make another game in the same universe but focused around someone else.I mean look at how much money they gained from those games. You don't throw such opportunities away.
True. But CDPR is looking to stretch their legs and try other genres first before considering a new Witcher game. IIRC, they're working on an unnamed sci-fi project. Fingers crossed they're working on a Shadowrun game.
I think the character is analogous with God/Devil. Whichever way you see it. Devil plays tricks, God does miracles. Although Gaunter’O Dimm was described in game as a mischievous being, makes me think he is supposed to represent the devil. I think Von Everic dying is canon if O Dimm is believed to be as powerful as he is. Not even a witcher should be able to save a man who’s made a pact with the devil. Geralt was treated fair as he is a fair man unlike Von Everic. Even the devil has honor, I like that

"There are certain things even I can't meddle with" I think O'Dimm is talking about destiny. The books imply that destiny is a very powerful, and very real, force in the Witcher universe, one that led to Geralt and Ciri's meeting in the first place. It was Geralt's destiny to find Ciri on his own, and even the near-omnipotent O'Dimm can't affect that outcome.
Also he explains what the player must do in order to get the "good ending", in other worlds, O Dimm saw all instances of future events and knows everything that will happen (we know he can manipulate time), This implies that letting olgierd die is the canon for this quest, O Dimm would never take on geralt's challenged if he knew he was going to be defeated.
@@diegouemura It's the most canon-like choice IMO. Geralt has no reason to help Olgierd. The guy made a deal and paid for it by murdering his brother, and clearly you have more important things to spend your time on.
perhaps he cant see ciri but he knows where she is. probaby he doesnt help him directly because as said by the professor, he nver gives you what you want but what you desire (geralt want ciri to be happy, not to specifically find her now)
they should've added the option of him giving you every Gwent card instead of you having to waste your time playing against every merchant, blacksmith and whatnot in the entire game.
Damn this guy! This dialogues give so much interesting aspects about him (especially the one regarding Ciri). He's malicious yes, but I don't believe he's truly evil (even though he's the devil basically) more like a trickster, dangerous one. His character is so much better than the so called Wild Hunt, they're just so bland. He's up there with the Crones and Baron in terms of character beside the main protagonists.
+Rudolf H Yeah, it's clear he's the devil of the Witcher universe. Like you said, he isn't the bland type of evil, where you commit unspeakable atrocities (aside from the spoon in eye...yuck). He toys with your character and the decisions you make in your life. Everyone has their demons within them, and this guy truly brings them out.
+Rudolf H What you described is basically the myth he is based on(well one of the two.the other is the devil-soul story) Rumplestiltskins. The powerful imp who offers wishes/power/anything you desire in exchange for a certain price and forces you to write magical contracts. That's him. Master Mirror hehe
+Enel97 Actually the entire DLC is based on a legend about Pan (Sir/Lord) Twardowski. He was a polish nobleman that made a pact with the devil Boruta (O'Dim is based on him). He gained wealth and fame but the contract said that the devil can only take his soul when they'll meet in Rome. But Twardowski wasn't planning on ever going to Rome. So Boruta build an Inn, called it Rome and lured Twardowski into it. (Much like the Moon Scene in the DLC).
Gaunter absolutely outdoes everyone in my eyes. He's so obviously more dangerous than anything we fight in the game, most because we don't actually fight him. The Crones, as amazing as they are, are still very much flesh and blood beings that can be stabbed to death by anyone determined enough but you don't even know what would happen if you stuck a knife in Gaunter. Would he die? Would he blow up? Would it go through him? Would you explode? We don't know XD not to mention the time stopping powers, the fact he's amazingly likeable despite the fact he is almost lying to us and the fact he seems capable of doing anything requested make him infinitely more terrifying than any amounts of Eredin's telling us that we will "expire" in his cartoonishly evil voice that sounds like a muppets rendition of Eredin instead of what Eredin should sound like.
Just saying Geralt phrased all of these wishes terribly “Wanna be so fast no one can catch me” -Makes him run at the speed of sound, his legs break the moment he runs and he explodes on contact with the first obstacle he accidentally runs into “Never wanna go hungry again” Possible options: -Kills him -Turns him into a statue -Turns off his nervous system -Shuts down his brain -Removes his stomach -Makes him obese, immortal and immobile for all eternity “Endless supply of vodka” -Destroys the universe by dropping a literal endless supply of vodka into existence “I wanna be rich” -Turns him into an extremely sugary dessert
@@alvin7642 O'dimm never breaks an agreement, that is the whole point. The agreement wasn't that he gives geralt anything in return for anything. The agreement was that Geralt does something for O'dimm and O'dimm repays the agreement.
Arnim Kuqi Yea same, also runes I made and bought from him for big price disapeared when I made NG+, so I upgraded him to max just to have best enchants and gems, then I made NewGame+ and it disapeared, it was worst way to spend money...
+Nick Diaz I see your point, o'dimm right off the bat is mysterious. you have to play his game to get to know him, the crones are barbaric in a sense. Demanding blood, ears and children. You know they're not good from the start, but o'dimm has you thinking round the clock with every word he speaks.
Geralt: "I wanna be rich". O'dimm: *Hands 5000 crowns* GODDAMIT GERALT! BE FUCKING SPECIFIC! THESE ARE THE KINDS OF PEOPLE WHO WILL GIVE YOU LITERALLY A BLADE IF YOU ASK FOR "the most powerful blade"
In a first playthrough, helping Olgierd actually pays off more than the items we get from O'Dimm as rewards. Olgierd sword is actually pretty OP and depending on the build can become something really nasty, and by doing the Quest to face O'Dimm and solve his riddle we get to collect the last piece of the Viper Witcher Set. So, in a sense, we get two rewards by doing it.
Hinestly, for me Olgierd was such a pedantic piece of shit that I had 0 compassion for him, plus I am someone who keeps my word, so when he explained the terms of the contract I said: "Seems fair to me". Also if GOD didnt killed him, I would
I defeated Gaunter O'dimm in my play through of the expansion, but I must admit. This ending is soooo much more better and badass than the other. O'dimm just whistling his signature theme whilst tossing Olgierds skull up and down and the title of the game just appearing as the skull plummets onto your screen. Creepy but awesome. Edit: Cunts are getting confused to my context of 'better'. I didn't mean 'better' as in the overall result and impact the ending inflicted but rather how it was executed. The good ending was, to me, great - yet predictable. This ending was...well, different.
O'Dimm: Now tell me what reward you've chosen. Geralt: I wanna see Wild Hunt dead. O'Dimm: Unfortunatly their lifes are part of other deal I cannot break. Death Star can do a trick? Geralt: Your subtlety is stuff of legends.
@@Kinzaru are you serious? Sure the first few missions are hard, but you get used to the difficulty. Hell in Blood an Wine I always check the difficulty level because it was becoming too easy.
I think its a good analogy for God. Capable of rewarding immensely and punishing just as immensely. I was worried, I got the bad ending, because I was scared, but he treated Geralt fairly, as Geralt is a just man unlike Von Everic who I came to dislike as his story unfolded. The writers at CDPR have told some compelling stories through their games
I love O’dimm’s tone of voice when he explains how to get the good ending. He sounds really concerned about Ciri’s survival. Although he may have done it to make make sure Geralt heeds his words, I like to think that O’Dimm has some plans for Ciri in the future and see that as foreshadowing. Ciri has been presented as a Savior of humankind of sorts in the Witcher lore. It’s only natural for the Savior to come face to face with the Devil.
@@prestigehunter9729 I don't know, it was just an opinion and not entirely for real. More tongue in cheek about how God is sometimes quite evil (more so than the Devil) and many gods in many mythologies are at the very least mischievous if not completely evil. Gaunter O'Dimm's initials being GOD isn't a coincidence though, but of course he's supposed to be an evil God/devil like creature.
@@prestigehunter9729 Gaunter's O'Dimm's morality does seem kind of in tune with the Witcher universe in general. I could easily see him being the Creator of that universe. Mischevious, often harsh but rewards you as you deserve. He is Master Mirror, after all- what you get with him is a reflection of yourself. It just so happens that most of the people he encounters are not so good. Geralt is unfailingly honest, and though he does have what is good in mind he also does what benefits him the most. There is no pretense with Geralt, and therefore since he is completely honest he winds up being more good naturally than many who actively try to be so- and thus Gaunter doesnt try to cheat him in any way/ appear to cheat him. Geralt did exactly what he said he was going to do, for exactly the reasons he stated. No blind spots, no half acknowledged lust for power or for glory, as you often find with "dogooders". What you see is what you get- good and bad. Payment of a debt of honor and the lure of reward are Geralt's motivations. Even if you choose to gamble for Olgierd's soul, thats still true, but a bit of compassion is added on top. Gaunter is more angry at losing the bet than losing Olgierd's soul, I think. In the Witcher universe good and evil are not particuarly distinct- though in some ways its only slightly more grey than our own reality, if you think about it. Gaunter could easily be the God of the Witcher universe. It's not so different from real world conceptions, anyway- most Gods in our mythologies test as well as watch over humanity. Gaunter is especially similar to Odinn from Norse mythology and Dievas from Lithuanian, which is to expected from writers who are heavily inspired by Eastern European folklore.
It might be a matter of him knowing that the White frost would be a major issue even to someone as powerful as himself. Something like that overtaking the world's would mean he can no longer get deals even if he could survive it.
The Ciri one is very interesting, since the majority would complete the main quest before doing the expansion, considering hearts of stone is much higher level requirement.
O’dimm: Now tell me, what reward you have chosen? Geralt:I wish roach will stop getting stuck on fences O’dimm:There are some things that are beyond my reach Geralt, I’m sorry but I cannot help you.
you play the quest where Geralt is high on shrooms and he gets to talk to Roach? Asks him how we can run travel across oceans but gets stuck on stupid trees and fences? lol
GO'D: What do you wish for? Geralt I wish for a wish that you don't know you can grant, but you grant it unbeknownst to your knowledge Go'D:.....You're not getting an Assassin's Creed game in Japan Gearlt: Dammit
I was actually going to side with him until the whole ladle in the eye to that poor guy for no real reason. After that I was determined to save olgeird
+ICGvids TBH I still feel like I should have let him have Olgeird. He brought it all on himself and it's what he deserves and even signed up to. But I wanted that sword, and the defending Olgeird ending is way better.
+ICGvids Yeah that was kinda the moment I realized this guy is just plain evil. Didn't realize why Olgeird was acting like a total dickbag (had some inkling though), but understood soon after this that its the effect of "the deal". Saving Olgeird is by FAR the best choice even if you want a reward. Not only it makes you feel good, but you also get a dank sword.
+ICGvids Idk about you but would exactly be the reason why I _wouldn't_ mess with him! Besides being a devil, he isn't malicious, but rather mischievous and seeks the paradoxical wonders of human life.
+ICGvids You should read a bit about HP Lovecraft. His stories are pretty much nihilistic, but he paints a pretty convincing picture, a rudimentary guess at best, of what otherworldly beings think of mankind. Ours is a world that assumes romanticism, good and evil, compassion and cruelty with so much ado. For them, however, it is meaningless, incomprehensible. It's as O'Dimm said in the wedding, women are simple, men are fools, a summary of the human race, which makes us such easy targets for entity's like O'Dimm. He is Evil Incarnate simply because the witcher world called him that. In truth, he is a predator, we are prey. He is more powerful, that is all, as a predator should be compared to prey.
Then again, not like just because you banish Gaunter in the end he's gone. No, he just won't torment Olgeird any longer. Probably found someone else to torment 2 hours later. If that
Did anyone caught the same detail as i did? Ok you know when you meet the professor on his pentacle, when he says that as long as the candles are lit he'll be protected. Well, when he kills himself (and right before leaving the crumbling place) if you take the time to take out all of the candles, there will be a very loud demonic growl at the last candle. Jesus fucking Christ i slept with the lights on this night.
wanna something just as creepy? Know how Gaunter cast the curse on the spoon wight in Blood and Wine? La Cage Au Fou the quest is called. you read his curse on the house, the same crude handwriting and probably a curse, are written on the wall of the stairs in professor Shakeslock's house.
"A bottle of vodka that's always full." A way to trick somone with that wish is that the bottle has vodka in it but it can never be opened and can never be destroyed.
at that state of game you probably crafted every potion and oil already anyway and drank at least 20 litres of swallow pots, so without any more quests let geralt finally get fat :D
I love the guy who plays O'Dimm. He's so fucking scary when they have him acting menacingly and his theme music plays in the background, but then he can switch to a cool and laid back guy like he is here. I was extremely conflicted on the ending for this DLC and seeing all these rewards, I'm tempted to go back and grab one of these rewards instead of the shitty sword you get from Olgierd. Only thing bad about doing that though, is missing out on the Viper sword.
The sword isn't too bad, anyway I think if you download new game plus (it's free) all you would have to do is start a new game while keeping any of the rewards in your inventory (but apparently you should unequip them before you start new game plus for them to carry through to the new Game) and start the whole DLC again until you have all of them, it's what I'm about to do soon as I finish Blood and Wine... and get the time to do it.
Yeah Viper sword is good. Good thing I got New Game Plus, so I can get every reward and the Viper sword. Though personally I didn't find Olgierd's sword too bad, I mean human enemies aren't as tough as monsters, it's got three slots and the knock back ability is pretty useful in group fights
Personally, I like the idea that I defeated the Devil in his own game, you know, those victories that you have only for yourself? But besides that, I really don't want to get out of this situation accepting something from this entity, It may use this little gift to return in the future. And if you banishes him, no one will ever be a victim of his tricks ever again, I would do this for Iris.
Yeah the Ciri wish is pretty much instructions on how to get the best ending possible in the main game. Personally I got the best ending on my first try, it wasn't that hard to get the best ending, especially when you realize it depends on weather you're a good or bad father to Ciri.
People are skeptical on which is the best ending. Some think the melancholy of the empress ending. Some like the cheerful and canon ending where Ciri becomes a witcher. Some even prefer the ending where (most likely) they die. It has the potential to be the most emotional impacting ending. I, personally, got the witcher ending.
I love the bitter sweetness of the empress ending. It was the sacrifice of personal happiness for the good of the people. It was very deep and quite sad. But that's what made it a good ending.
engared When I first beat the game I got the witcher ending. I liked that the most AT FIRST because I wanted everything to be happy lol. But afterwards I thought the other 2 endings are better.
Billiam I think it's the same reason why some people prefer Roman dying as a better ending to GTAIV. Though it is sad, it has an emotional impact, and you kill Demetri who is the one main antagonist who was fucking with you throughout the entire story. While in the ending where Kate dies, you don't really have that much of an emotional attachment as you did with Roman. And killing that Italian mod boss, I can't really remember his name, just wasn't as satisfying as killing Demeti.
Rewards are kinda useless. You can find saddle with 100 Stamina in Blood and Wine. By the end of main story line, I have full inventory of different food, enough to last through New Game+ Same for Alcohol, I have my potions done, so I don't need more alcohol. "Make me rich" - Gives you 5k. Come on, most people should have 30k+ by now. Also, crafting "Grand Master" set in Blood and Wine will cost you 20-30k depending on materials you have. So I was expecting maybe 100k or more. So there is no reason to go this path. Atleast Olgerd gives you a nice sword that you can put on display in your house in Blood and Wine. Whats more disappointing that when you meet O'Dimm after ship crash, he says "You're a witcher, I can give you the best weapons". So I was expecting some epic and unique set of swords.
I don't care about the rewards, I care about the story. It's completely out of Geralt's character to defy literally the most powerful and evil entity he has ever known to try to save a homicidal, egotistical man who sacrificed his own fucking brother and sold his own soul to the devil so he could get everything he wants. He ruined Iris life and killed multiple people. Letting Gaunter take his soul is to me EXACTLY what he deserves.
@@JonasR001 Gaunter takes advantage of the evil in people's heart, but he is not the one who puts it there. I think that HE is the symptom and Olgierd's depravity is the true problem, but it's all about opinion in the end. The fact we can't agree into only one answer just adds to Projekt Red's merit

I got my wish on my Birthday and it was 30 bucks so Gaunter granted it
So, this implies that the Isle of Mists is so well hidden that even Gaunter O'Dimm cannot see it. Insane.
"There are certain things even I can't meddle with"
I think O'Dimm is talking about destiny.
I think it as; O'dimm sees souls, and Ciri's soul was not with her at that time, thus he couldn't see Ciri. That's my humble opinion.
@@diegouemura It's the most canon-like choice IMO. Geralt has no reason to help Olgierd. The guy made a deal and paid for it by murdering his brother, and clearly you have more important things to spend your time on.
perhaps he cant see ciri but he knows where she is. probaby he doesnt help him directly because as said by the professor, he nver gives you what you want but what you desire (geralt want ciri to be happy, not to specifically find her now)
Geralt spends the better part of two weeks learning about how this man manipulates and twists words to ruin your wish

they should've added the option of him giving you every Gwent card instead of you having to waste your time playing against every merchant, blacksmith and whatnot in the entire game.
Herbalist... you forgot herbalists :D
it be an edgy geralt
Tytus de Zoo So basically like we said the devil and rumplestilskin myths.Sounds like a pretty interesting version the polish one.
Just saying
Geralt phrased all of these wishes terribly
“Wanna be so fast no one can catch me”
-Makes him run at the speed of sound, his legs break the moment he runs and he explodes on contact with the first obstacle he accidentally runs into
“Never wanna go hungry again”
Possible options:
-Kills him
-Turns him into a statue
-Turns off his nervous system
-Shuts down his brain
-Removes his stomach
-Makes him obese, immortal and immobile for all eternity
“Endless supply of vodka”
-Destroys the universe by dropping a literal endless supply of vodka into existence
“I wanna be rich”
-Turns him into an extremely sugary dessert
My god. The last one would've been hilarious.
Well it's a reward, not a deal and Geralt did a good job for O'Dimm

@@alvin7642 O'dimm never breaks an agreement, that is the whole point.

In my case I did not needed his sword.
I already did head a grandmaster witcher sword 😢
Hinestly, for me Olgierd was such a pedantic piece of shit that I had 0 compassion for him, plus I am someone who keeps my word, so when he explained the terms of the contract I said: "Seems fair to me". Also if GOD didnt killed him, I would
Yeah, I really like the two swords in helping Olgierd. Nice to finish a set as well.
I liked the swords but no way was I helping that bastard. He made his bed.
I know right? especially how his whistling Reverberated through the audio so eerily.

It’s only natural for the Savior to come face to face with the Devil.
he's God, not the devil
@@92brunod i know this is old but how do you know?

+ICGvids
Idk about you but would exactly be the reason why I _wouldn't_ mess with him!
If that

Well, when he kills himself (and right before leaving the crumbling place) if you take the time to take out all of the candles, there will be a very loud demonic growl at the last candle. Jesus fucking Christ i slept with the lights on this night.
I think O’Dimm placed a demon (maybe a Hym) in the house and bound it to the candles- when you extinguish then candles you release a demon.

And if you banishes him, no one will ever be a victim of his tricks ever again, I would do this for Iris.
gaunter: now tell me what reward you’ve chosen
geralt: i want roach to never get stuck again
gaunter: now that’s a reward i can understand...
Why would geralt dying be a better ending?
Billiam I think it's the same reason why some people prefer Roman dying as a better ending to GTAIV. Though it is sad, it has an emotional impact, and you kill Demetri who is the one main antagonist who was fucking with you throughout the entire story. While in the ending where Kate dies, you don't really have that much of an emotional attachment as you did with Roman. And killing that Italian mod boss, I can't really remember his name, just wasn't as satisfying as killing Demeti.
Rewards are kinda useless.
You can find saddle with 100 Stamina in Blood and Wine.
By the end of main story line, I have full inventory of different food, enough to last through New Game+
Same for Alcohol, I have my potions done, so I don't need more alcohol.
Agreed. Also Iris is a awesome sword. It looks and attacks beatiful when it becomes red.
Tbh the demonic horse that Roach transforms into is pretty cool. That's the only award I'd take from Gaunter.
All the rewards are useless, including olgierd's sword, but hey if all the rewards suck why not go for the good ending at least?
I don't care about the rewards, I care about the story. It's completely out of Geralt's character to defy literally the most powerful and evil entity he has ever known to try to save a homicidal, egotistical man who sacrificed his own fucking brother and sold his own soul to the devil so he could get everything he wants. He ruined Iris life and killed multiple people. Letting Gaunter take his soul is to me EXACTLY what he deserves.
@@JonasR001 Gaunter takes advantage of the evil in people's heart, but he is not the one who puts it there.
