Update: 7 years later and this band is still in the collection and in perfect condition. None of the knockoffs made it. The quality of the metal is top notch.
Appreciate you coming back and saying that for the people that are still looking into it for the newer watches, it’s good peace of mind knowing that it’s gonna actually last.
I have the black stainless steel milanese band, it came with my black stainless steel 44mm series 5. Also watch band is pretty comfortable to wear during workout, issue you had and it must be personal preference on placement but I have mine sit behind the wrist bone not on it or after it.
I've been wearing the Milanese loop band on my Apple Watch for about 3 or 4 weeks and am not really sold on it. It looks nice (I wear it in the office) but I'm constantly having to re-tighten the band because it loosens during the day. I also got the black sport band which doesn't have this problem and which looks good on the watch.
I paid 15$ for it :D pretty good quality as well getwatchband.com/collections/frontpage/products/milanes-watch-band-for-apple-watch-more-variants link in case u would be interested :D
what is that rounded corners rectangle with a polished surface containing a rubber o'ring on it? Strange, seems to be made for skin contact don't you think?
I have a 40mm. The 44mm looks tacky, cheap, and gaudy on small wrists. Smaller watches are more elegant. Ask any watch enthusiast. I own many expensive timepieces and absolutely despite big watches. 44mm ruins the look on MANY guy's wrists.
@@joeybrooks5625 agreed. I’m a collector and prefer smaller watches. 32-38mm is perfect. Lug to lug of 46mm or less. I have some big divers but they are big sport watches. For daily wear, smaller is better.
My band goes all the way to the top & still needs to go extra if I need it a good fit, or if I want to get any ECG reading at all, BP, BP+ or any important information. I have small wrists. So is there anyway to take part of it off? This is huge on me.
Do you find the magnetic moves throughout the day, so it loosens? I find when am driving moving my arms around a lot, it starts to loosen and having to keep tighten it.
Will a small magnet attached to the band? I want to try something out using this band but the metal itself of this band must be able to pick up a small magnet for it to work.
@@GamingWithAce85 Are they smaller in size? I did that on my 3. Then my mom got my 3 when I got my 6 and she still has it and I told her she has got to get a new one. It's turning colors. She's a creature of habit. If it works. She would rather spend money on me. Isn't she sweet. Except I don't know why the guy at the store didn't do it. She doesn't tend to clean it often and it took 2 broken nails, a took pick with a cloth, then finally running it under cold water to get all the (ick) gunk out. I said if you don't clean it once a week, I'm taking it. I've never seen anything like that. Exfoliate.!!!! :) I still am going to get her a new one. I'm hoping this one stays silver. I break out with anything so I got the real one this time. I have all these pretty ones for the rose gold but she doesn't like fancy or if anyone is interested - if allowed. I just get red bumps. But I do it with jewelry too.
It does fall out I’ve sent one band back to apple coz of this and they’ve just sent me a new one and guess what that on falls out too Apparently prior to 2018 they stayed in but since then they fall out nice video I’ve got a gold one very happy with it just wish the magnet end didn’t fall out !!!
Yeah I agree the silver loop looks kinda weird with the black sport watch. I've seen some third party versions that are black so I think that would look a lot better but sadly then your risking getting subpar quality so I just wish Apple would release a black version of this
Sorry strange question. I've just bought a secondhand Milanese loop strap from a local shop that was sold as genuine. It says 38mm on one end that goes in the watch, and right on the very tip of the other end it says assembled in China. I was wondering if yours had similar markings? I look forward to your reply. :)
+Cheryl Adcock I just went ahead and checked. One one end it does say 38mm and then at the tip of the other it also says assembled china so they are the same :)
MrTechGamer2000 I personally didn't like the classic buckle. Don't think it would match very well since it's very classic and seems to match much better with the Stainless Steel. That's why I went with the Leather Loop instead, it's a bit more modern and seems to match the Gray Sport nicely :)
i had that watch band and after some wear (a couple months) like one loop would stick out and would become a sharp needle needless to say i made myself and my friends bleed from it and have somewhat of a scar
Why couldn’t they make it a normal clasp like with regular watches? I’ve had magnetic bracelets ruin my computer before so I don’t want to get this, but it’s the only band that looks nice.
+DarGadgetZ u should try it out on a rose gold and gold apple watch sport. I have the rose gold one and im really interested in what it would look like because im thinking of getting one for xmas 😄
You have put the strap in the wrong way! That is why you have trouble while adjusting the tight and position. The magnet should be in the inner part of your wrist so you can grab it and loose it or tight it with your right -or dominant- hand more confortable.
Thanks man! Look, at 2:00 there is this "rounded" rectangle at the watchband end you can see it holds an o'ring it looks to me strange, seems to be made for skin contact, I am going nuts here trying to understand why this o'ring surrounding a polished surface - seems to me it was made to toch our skin don't you think?
I think you've watched too many rap music videos or something because that 38mm is perfect on your wrist. Mens watches aren't supposed to look gigantic. That's only a very very recent trend.
Amazon ones might do that because the materials are nowhere near the same as these from apple but the price difference is huge. These magnets are incredibly strong and everything stays put nicely!

the milanese loop is flawless

You are supposed to wear the milanese loop the other way round. the side with the opening should be on the bottom of the watch.
Exactly

Agree..Why would someone upload a tutorial which is so wrong.....
Keith Cresswell It isn’t a tutorial bruv it’s a ‘review’ two different things.
Just bought the graphite version for $99 at an Apple store in Vegas. So these bands have definitely come down in price.
i have the one they sell at walmart for like 14 dollars and it comes in rose gold, black and silver, i have the rose gold one and i LOVE IT
Space Grey Titanium series 6 with black Milanese loop. I definitely feel like that’s the move.
chain mail armor
Yup, that's it!

I just got my self mail and got one myself yesterday who works pray for me on my Apple Watch. Seven is very coffin. Watch band very nice. I love it.
I like that you do it with both watches, great job, bro
Thanks I got the black one already last week and thanks for your comment
My much cheaper than Apple's Milanese wrist band lasted 5 years so I'm not complaining. Bought another cheap one and it's working out great too.

$150 for a thin strip of metal...great buy!
PKMflawless xD
LEO J In my opinion, the Sport Band is definitely the most comfortable of all the bands :)
M8 this one is "silky smooth" 100% worth the price completely justified
PKMflawless Go check the price of other Milanese Loop and you will see this one has a reasonable price.
***** no...it doesn't have a reasonable price, you can buy a tv with that money.
Should I match my starlight case with silver or gold milanese loop?? Guess it won’t look good with rose gold though..
Do you find the magnetic moves throughout the day, so it loosens? I find when am driving moving my arms around a lot, it starts to loosen and having to keep tighten it.
The one that came with my series 5 always did but the series 6 band seems to have a stronger magnet
Got a Milanese loop for my fitbit charge 2 today makes it look very sophisticated and elegant
This is just great . I have he exact same model you showing in video... And u know what , compliment after compliment

Milanese Loop band fraying the cuffs!!!!
I heard the apple bands with magnetic clasp interfere with the watch and also the compass
in the later models

Abdullah Albaroudi I can answer this for you. With a stainless steel band you are allowed to do that as long as you don’t scratch it
Why couldn’t they make it a normal clasp like with regular watches? I’ve had magnetic bracelets ruin my computer before so I don’t want to get this, but it’s the only band that looks nice.
I bought a fake one and it feels great, it didn't lose color, the magnet is strong but not unpleasantly so, and it was under $20
Does it look the same?
This magnetic band negates compass feature. Not sure what else it might affect.
i notice when the watch arrives they put the band on the watch with the slide throught loop on the bottom of the watch not the top like you
Thats the perfect size for your wrist. A 42mm would look cheap and gaudy. Might as well get a fossil dinner plate watch.
What would look better the space grey or gray Apple watch

Prevents slipping and scratching the band. Magnets hold it closed but without the rubber it won’t stay closed due to lack of friction.
