I've off duty carried the Shield .40 for a number of years and have long since lost count of the number of rounds I have run through it. Love the M&P.
Love my m&p 40c I know alot of ppl clown on the 40 thses days. But it's a great gun.
Awesome to see so much love for the 45c. I have had my Apex triggered, FDE version for 4 or 5 years now and just love it to death despite all the M&P haters out there.
The chest rig is very underrated, I’ve taken to wearing them, and find them to be comfortable and convenient, and you are always ready. Great content, thanks.

I have the alien gear chest rig. Have several shells for it. Love it. Had my buddy that makes holsters make me a shell for my Delta Elite w/red dot since they didn’t make one.

Finally the S&W M&Ps are getting the credit they deserve, especially with improved 2.0 series. I've had one since 2008 and it's been great, NO MALFUNCTIONS, accurate and durable (running fine for 12 years in my experience). And, btw, they're available with thumb safeties which is becoming more popular on striker fired pistols for various reasons, real or perceived.

@@chrisd5758 In the world of some folks, everything is pivoted on a Glock, every caliber is pivoted on a 9x19 Nato. That's what we call bias. But we won't tell too loudly.

Have a subcompact 2.0 in 9mm. Really nice gun, shoots great. Now use it as my primary concealed Cary gun.

Just got the 2.0 version of this exact gun. Accurate right out of the box, and fun to shoot
I have the same thing too in FDE, it’s the midsize model. I have it primarily as my home defense pistol and I absolutely love it! I had the Apex trigger installed in it and it’s 💯 times more enjoyable to shoot than it already was! I run it with a TLR-2 light/red laser, Trijicon night sights and a Springer Precision +2 base pad on one of my 10 round mags. The gun’s so accurate you’d think the rounds are running on rails to the target!! I’ve had it for 9 years and running with zero problems. Very underrated piece for its time, especially as a first generation.

Neigher can I fathom how Eric IV8888 took so long to review this pistol. I have one which I bought in 2019 long after the 2.0’s had come out. Its well broken in and despite what you hear from naysayers, its trigger feel is formidable (not great, but dar from as bad as commonly said). Mine even has tritium. I got it for under 300 on GB. Id say it’s my favorite polymer 45. It shoots nicer than the G30s and has better ergos despite it losing by 2 in the capacity department. Gotta love the M&P 45c 1.0👍🏼!

I LOVE MY 45!! SO SO USER FRIENDLY! also My 44mag ALASKAN Snub nose is one hell of a fire arm too one of my best purchase too so smooth and so user friendly! great video brothaaaaa great 45! a must have for every one!

I enjoy the first gen m&ps I still got my 9compact. And thing still shoot good. I learn with thoughts with the guns if you polish up the firingpin blocker. It well remove the Grit and make the gun smoother. Only reason I stop buying Apex's trigger. But if you not sure what your doing buy the apex

45 isn't a bad option. Lots of expansion (Ranger-T 45 expands to 25mm, Underwood 174 45 expands to 32mm) but you get way less capacity than 9...
Everything has it’s pros and cons
Go for it. I love mine.
If you're confident in your ability to hit your target under pressure, and reload quickly if necessary, then the 45 is still a great round even after a hundred years of service.
I’m a fan of the .45. I’ve got a G30 and a G21, but unfortunately Glock doesn’t make anything in .45 with that size frame. So here I am with the Smith.
@@ramboxlegacy14 I added a new safe this week, and as I was moving guns ammo and mags around, I found a G41 MOS I have never built nor fired. I hope to get out with it and some other 45's this weekend.

I've only fired a 1911 of unknown Manu but when it comes to compact I prefer 9
Years ago I was up late one night and was enjoying a cold one before hitting the sack. So like normal having a little down time I was perusing GunBroker and looking at M&Ps. So I see a M&P45 being auctioned with a starting price of $225.00. Thinking its a full size I put in the starting bid thinking I'm going to be out bid. WELL nobody else bid creating an oh crap moment. Then I noticed it was a compact. Double oh crap! Luckily I had a good week with overtime. Well the gun came in to my FFL. First of all it was the size of a Glock 19 which I never thought of as all that compact. Second of all I got to take it to the range and I was really pleasantly surprised in more than one respect. 1. I don't mind recoil but this gun was less snappy than my M&P40 full size and 2. I couldn't believe just how accurate it was because I shot it better than my PPQ45. Go figure.
But I did learn something; if its been a long day and you decide to have a cold one stay off of auction sites. Also, M&Ps rarely disappoint.

Was looking at these and the shield before I went for the ruger sr40c. Ruger trigger is way better then the m&p's my brother and wife both got m&ps

How would one of these compare to a Ruger American Compact in 45ACP?
Got mine for $265 used. Been my "Goes everywhere with me" pistol for years now. Need to get an Apex for it. Have considered having the slide milled for a RMR. Hard 45acp pistol to beat for general purpose.
Been running mine in a blade tech holster.
Took a deer with it two years back.
Only gripe is the factory triggers pull weight.
I bought m&p new last gen back 6 months ago for $600 felt i overpayed but with such a quality gun i really dont care

All the mentioned reasons are why I love my Glock 30S. Nothing wrong with the M&P 45 C either. But 11 rounds of 45 in a pistol that small is hard to beat

It's basically plastic... It requires less care than leather, and has more retention. Only thing I'll use for edc.
