Brilliant suggestion of how to get the rubber boot in place over the piston. I put a kit through a twin piston set off a GQ today for the very first time and your video made what could have been a very difficult job a lot easier. Thanks for your efforts.
A tip for next time, put bungs in oil line holes, metal tape over the bleed nipple, keep pistons in place. Now bead-blast (NOT sand, use glass bead) them including inside the piston bowls.
@@ReubsModifications Bead blasting is very mild compared to sand and won't harm rubber too much unless stream directed directly for length of time. Besides, seals where all getting replaced so wasn't huge deal. Just wash parts well after blasting.
@@ReubsModifications mines 4” lift with the extended bracket. His is a 2” lift with a extended bracket. His has always had bad brakes. It’s a Ute chopped and lengthened into a space cab. Rebuild the proportion valve is a bit of a job but a lot cheaper then a new one for a coil Ute.
Tradies mate they have a decent sized thigh pocket that’s divided into a few smaller pockets so that comes in handy but I have managed to bust holes in just about all my pairs😂

Thanks mate, excellent to hear the video was helpful to you 👍🏻
Fantastic! Just what I'm about to do! Cheers mate, great video!
Thanks mate, good luck 👍🏻

Is this just for the paint prep? And for someone who wants to just repaint them what would this do to rubber parts?

Awesome work.
I used toro and did all mine plus dads.
Having issues with his as a dodgy proportion valve in the rear
Great to hear, is the car lifted as this can put extra tension on the spring to the proportion valve.

@@karloz83 yeah might be worth a look at, brakes aren’t really something you want to be having trust issues with 😂
@@ReubsModifications not so bad in a good old manual bit more trust needed in brakes in a auto but.
what work pants you got? lol
