Brooke got into a great school (ohio university) and is triple majoring; she's about to graduate from college with three bachelor's degrees. And she was the first person in her family to go to college. She was a beautiful dancer and all but damn, you gotta respect the girl's commitment to her education. Everyone talks about her leaving the show but no one ever mentions what a great example she set for the young girls who watched her on dance moms

I think Brooke always seemed like a lovely girl and she was an OKAY dancer but I think she would have been a lot better had she not been on the show and had been in an older group of dancers. She was dancing with kids and most of her solos were acro tricks. I feel like dance was a hobby to her and Paige, whereas for the other girls it was really a career. When she was put with the older dancers that one time, she did great but hated it. She doesn't seem like she wants to be a celebrity or a professional in showbiz and that's perfectly fine, it just wasn't for her. I would have loved to see her in cirque like she dreamed of as a kid, but we grow up and dreams change. Hope she's happy in college :)
It wasn't about "losing her passion for dancing" - she had serious back problems. You can actually see her looking pained in some of these clips. I'm glad she stopped before she got really hurt and still managed to be happy and fullfilled in college. That being said, she was really good these first three seasons - her dancing was never praised, though, so that Maddie could shine.

Its a good video it actually just shows that Brooke did like dancing, but I think she just didn't want to do it all the time she wanted to hang out with friends and boys, I think dancing with the girls helped sustain her dancing abilities but I think she should've danced more with the seniors after she did that dance with them, also I think not only she didn't wanna dance anyone but I think she was dealing with a lot of back pain so it hurt to do all those tricks, I do wish Abby gave Brooke more solos that weren't purely acro but I doubt Brooke would even get what she did or didn't get

I was a dancer but I quit because of my body, it couldn't do what I normally did in dance like acrobatics, As you see Brooke's technic is not as good as it use to be thats because her body is changing and that can cause your flexibility (if your a flexible dancer or gymnast) to stop what you're normally do everyday.
I actually liked Brooke a lot but it’s sad to watch her passion fade, it’s hard to see it just die in front of you like that. But she does look happy and looks like she’s having a lovely life now. : )
