That was so terrible of Abby. Those girls were in the room! Did you see poor Paige’s face when she turned around? That was disgusting of Abby. I’m so glad Brooke and Paige got out of that toxic environment.
LittleDragon Dee That doesn’t change the fact that what she said was horrible. I guess it’s a thing that reality shows have to have phone calls on speaker? I’ve never seen a private phone call on Dance Moms unless it’s Abby and her attorney.
Oh, yes, a lot of this is Kelly's fault. She didn't follow the rules, she can't be mad at Abby for enforcing them. The problem was the kids were brought into it. This was way before the assault, this was season 3 and the assault was season 4.

Melissa always had a soft spot for the Hylands and it's very sweet but also makes it all the more sad that she didn't stand up for them in season 4
People can say whatever they want about Melissa... when it comes to kids and even adults crying, she always comforts. She also has never made another child cry. I remember once she hugged Christi and Holly when they cried, despite the drama.

This is one of those moments where Melissa really is one of my favorite moms. You could tell that after the phone call Melissa was upset that Abby said that. I really think that Melissa has a soft spot for the Hylands.
she really did have a soft spot for the hylands. like when paige forgot her solo, she was crying for her in the audience. or when christi was saying stuff to kelly how she’s jealous that chloe was a national title winner and paige wasn’t. yeah that made paige cry, she comforted her. for some reason she just loved paige and brooke and was never mean to them even though sometimes kelly was mean to her but she loved them so much.
Brooke is amazing and extremely flexible!! How could she not want her in her studio!! Also, Paige is an amazing dancer and I don't get how Abby couldn't want her! That must've hit Brooke Hard bc she never cries ❤

Melissa was a good person and she really loved the girls. The show ruined everything for these girls and the moms. They were such great friends and all Abby did was tear them apart. They have to much trauma and the fact that Brooke was crying makes a huge difference and shows how hurt she was.
