haven't watched all of the videos in the series but I've been rewatching dance moms in quarantine, just finished and wanted to point this out In the beginning of the very last episode of dance moms, on the first day of rehersals/the segment that revolves around jill arguing with Cheryl - you can see teeny glimpses of Reagan practicing the dance and standing with the others. I found it super odd that she's in those clips but definitely disappears for the rest of the episodes. and in the clips she is in, the producers definitely tried to pick camera angles that hid her
My favorite one, that I feel like nobody has pointed out, is when the girls go to nationals in Season 3 and the replacement who was from New Orleans (I cant remember her name) is actually on stage with the girls in New Orleans and her mom is sitting by Gianna. Maybe you pointed it out in another video.
In my perspective, i believe the cameras are there for a reason and a good reason. The fact that in Maddies solo, Angel- The cameras were towards her face meaning they use them to see dancers expression and technique etc so they can define what place they come or even place at all. It may look, creepy and inappropriate but really it is to see if the peformance was good and thats how abby and the rest of the judges find very tiny mistakes and technique problems or just random things that looked bad but we cant even see them! They use such good describing words and Abby is always like, You bent your feet and sickled them behind, she has a great view (the cameras), so theres your answer 😉 (CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG)
I’ve got one did you notice on season 2 I believe the first episode when they had auditions to replace Brooke and Paige when they show all the people outside of the aldc building you can see gianina from season 8 as a baby.
I just noticed this, but theres a part in the umbrella dance (something shade, im a little lazy to look it up) jojo puts her legs as if you would on a fouette way to early and leaves it there a second longer to let the girls catch up to her
