I appreciate when you mention and include links to the aftermarket parts you used. Sure helps us find people/businesses for stuff we need that you might nit find otherwise.
I forgot to comment on the other video, I've never seen that issue with paint either 😳 It'll look great when you finally get it done though 👍 This one turned out beautifully, my friend, I loved watching it and hearing all the kit and real A12 history! Group shot was awesome 😁✌
I really like this build, great subject matter. I love the green on this one, I will have to get some for a future build myself. I really like the tires you used on this one. I have a '69 Roadrunner project going at this time too. I am using products from Shapeways, to recreate a car a friend of mine owned, from the AMT '69 GTX kit. It has stalled due to the fear of messing it up.
So, why don't you have "shop cards"? You know it's a thing to share them between other u-tubers with similar channels? And what video editing program do you use? There's not much to say about this most awesomest of builds you have here. Your depiction of keeping true to the real thing is amazing.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler. Well, thank you there. That's a top rated program right there. I now have Shotcut but that Resolve one is next in the que to check out. Baby steps. lol
Hey Ralph, Jim here. Wanted to inquire about a car I use to own. It was a 1968 Dodge Coronet, White with Blue interior, Front Bench Seat, Rally Dash, 4 Spd Trans, 383 w/Carter 4 BBL Carb. Power Bulge Hood, Plain Black 15" steel wheels. I was 17 when I found the car sitting in a convenience store parking lot. Bought the car for $100 bucks, spent 500 on tires tune up, clutch, oils & filter, ball joints & tie rod ends, Fuel Sending Unit, New Turn Signal Switch. The Rear Panel was Plain between the taillights unlike the R/T with the raised ribs an of course R/T emblems. Mine had no R/T emblems. What do you think I had ? Somebody's special Order ? My very first ticket was Reckless Driving......the cop told me it was tooooo much car for me and I should sell it to him ! Being the smart ass 17 yr old I was I asked him if cops really made that much money ? He said oh no we don't get paid enough for putting our lives on the line everyday. I said that"s to bad, then I know you can't afford to buy this car ! He asked .....What would you sell it for ? I said $20,000.00 !!! The look on his face was priceless as this car was between 2 & 3,000 brand new. This was 1978 which made the car 10 yrs old. I have a Model of a 69 Coronet I'm going to try to convert to my 68, the model I'd like to show you is the MPC Dukes Of Hazzard 69 Dodge Charger 1/16th scale. Setup like a race car with roll cage around engine and a race car dash board, I had a lot of scratch building to do to turn it back into a street car. My email address is trukdriverj@aol.com as I can't send any pics from here. Put in subject line MOPAR MADNESS an I'll know it's you ! One more thing ! I remember what my acceleratorwas a 68 Chevy Impala fanatic ! Your sound bite sounds just like his Impala ! LOL Love your builds an would you will ALL your Mopar models to me /// LOL
Are you talking about the bulge in front of the scoop. Originals did but a few aftermarket copies do not. This is an original car. www.sportscarmarket.com/profile/1969-plymouth-a12-road-runner-2
I mentioned that in the video and it is also in the description. Decals are Keith Marks. Wheels and Tires came with the kit from Modelhaus but is no longer available since they retired. The son is still offering the Modelhaus Tires only though.
Ohh, yeah! Quick one about it. Dodges version of this color i believe, was called, Bright Spring Green Metallic. Uh, F6, I think. Any ways, 1 time I rumbled thru McDonald's and the little girl in the drive thru asks me, Why did you paint your car this color? My feelings were a tiny bit hurt and I just said, I didn't paint it. This is the way it came from the factory. Before I sold it it was my daily driver with 31" tall slicks and 4.89 rear gear. I still have dreams about this car. Someday, I will bee reunited with this car in heaven. Woof
That's great! I love my Mopar! 71 Fury wagon (Sport Suburban) It had a hopped up 440. That motor gave up a few years back so it doesn't run currently, but I still have it. It was my mom's so I grew up in it and it's my first car! I also bought a 99 S10 Xtreme brand new and still have that also. A few years back I drove through a drive thru. The girl behind the window said to me "Driving your sons car!" My son wasn't even born just yet.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler lol, for the drive thru! I am intrigued by the 440 in the furious Fury. I am really bummed about it giving up 🥺 What's it doing? What happened? I've had 5 Mopars and was real mean to all of them, but the only one that I blew up was the 225 ci, 6 cylinder! Rod right thru the side of the block! KABOOM!! I think I'm the only one in the history of the world to do that, lol 😆 I'm the Mopar whisperer. Tell me about your 440, son 🤔
Hey Raoul Truly Nice Work but I have A Question. As A Mopar Purest Guy 59 Yrs old. All 1969 A12 Roadrunners/Super Bees Were Coupe/Sedan models With B Posts. Not Hardtop Bodys
The option was available on both. 69 Roadrunners A12 Coupe (post) 615 / Hardtop 797 total 1412. The 69 Super Bee A12, Coupe 1487, Hardtop 420 for 1907 total. Hardtop is more common on a Roadrunner but rare on Super Bee.
Looking for decals. Is Keith Marks Decals still in business. Need 383 Road runner decals. Air breather and hood. Building a stock 383 1/25 scale road runner.
Excellent video & '69 Plymouth Roadrunner built & painted by you Raul and thanks for posting your video too!
Thank you!
Thank you for the safety tip regarding working with resin. I have a set of resin wheels and redline tires on the way for my 1/24 MPC A12 kit.
Glad to help. Enjoy your build.
Nice one, Raoul. A great addition to your house of MOPAR.

Thank you! I do too!
That came out nice! Love the color.
Thank you!
Nice work. I love the stories behind how you get models finished.
Thank you! Each one has a story. Some are fun and some, not so much.
Real nice round up. It's alot of messing around and fidgeting to get those results but well worth it in the end!
Thank you! Some just start that way! Now I'm doing a few box stock then pulling out another kit bash project.
Absolutely gorgeous and then again all four of them are
Thank you!
