What is better to take? EM5 or a stack Topping L70+E70v? I just don’t have a stream and transport besides a smartphone.

Seems to me Shanling needs to Hire Software Programmers and QC staff. This would drive me crazy with software farts when operating the unit. Going to order the EM5 as it's a bargain and as you suggested take the extra $$'s for other hardware and bar hopping.
I just saw the EM7 on the website of my local audio store and the price shocked me. I considered getting the EM5 before but the EM7 is way more mature and compelling, but no, not for this bloated price.

You know what the best do it all is? A desk audio interface, like an audient Evo 4 or a Motu m2 routed through a daw for instant DSP'ing/correcting for each output

Could be great if it had an actual interface. But china is usually weak on software side of things sadly.
Okay lets get this clear. The EM7 clearly is not the EM5 big brother. It is a total rethink on the all in one for Shanling. Fully differential balanced stages, Isolated power supplies, linear by the way. Norwegian Transformer. It cost allot to build a full differentially balanced products. At least twice the parts and 4 times the audio paths. Is it worth $2100? This is where the silicon meets the turf. Uh.....no. Give me the flippy screen on the EM5 mk.2 keep it around what the EM5 is now, discontinue the old one and put in the good bits of the EM7 in the EM5 and keep it reasonable. There is allot of good stuff you can get for $2100 that beat this, in some cases spending less and beat this. Shanling I think answered a question nobody was asking. Somebody is going to buy this. Just not me. The EM5 needs a video out to allow you to see your UI on a TV or monitor and keep all else and I would buy one. Charge me $2100 for a flippy screen and all the fluff I don't need, it is a no buy. No matter what anyone says. Done!

Pretty sure NHT is the only known brand Zeos has never reviewed. Must have signed a contract to never review sealed speakers. The Super Zeros for example don't do any low bass but are great with a Sub for near field listening. They are fairly hard to drive and kind of suck at low volumes though.
But love Zeos and been listening for what seems like a decade.

over $2k without I2S..... seriously a no no
7w headphone amp with a great dac and lots of features. The price is fair, considering that people pay as much for a dac only if it is R2R or any mumbo jumbo that audiophiles believe to be more magical.
So many headphones and speakers. When you don't use them for a year or two you've got to run them in again for them to be at their best.
